Yippee for 7 follies!
Once this round is over...hopefully it lasts 9 months...I have to go into my dr to discuss the next steps. I know for a fact that I cant afford an RE so Parints is next. I'll find out then how much everything will cost per round. Then we'll probably have to save for a month or so. So we may not even get another shot til feb or march. I need to book some jamberry parties! There you go., there's my persuasion... Book a party to support my iui! :D haha!

OMG Holly! That's great - I wish you much luck this cycle.

@waiting I hope you get you +++OPK soon. I'd be dying if that was me.

Well, I just left my doctor's office with no real answers. He feels my ovaries are fine, I'm healthy and he doesn't understand why I'm not getting a BFP so off to the reproductive endocrinologist/fertility specialist I go. Luckily the doctor he referred me to has his own in-house IVF lab and he is within my insurance network so my insurance will cover 90% of visits and treatments. My first consult is December 19th and I'm really nervous but excited to finally get this show on the road!

Hello Lovelies!! Fx'ed for positive opk's and follies! I started my workout regimen yesterday and better food choices so hopefully losing weight will help me to conceive. [af] is due tomorrow and I am super crabby and bummed out, but oh well, hopefully this month will be THE month for ALL of us!! [baby_dust]

@praying- just looked at your info...i've been trying since february 2012 too! That is so AWESOME that your RE is covered! Barely anyone is that lucky! What insurance do you have? Part of me is happy your dr didnt find anything wrong but at the same time I know you wanted some answers.

@ddouglas- hopefully witch will be gone fast so you can get back to baby making! Are you temping yet or starting tomorrow?

Dollartree is bad for me...I go in for opks and leave with 8 opks, a silver glitter ornament, lotion, bodywash, cups to pee in, and 4 bath bombs for my mom for Christmas! Lol. Also swung by grocery store to grab the prenatals I've been taking for almost 2 years! Schnucks gives away free prenatals with a prescription...thank the Lord they are free! My script is almost outdated so I have to call the dr again for a yearly refill. It's embarrassing having the same pharmacy tech check you out for 2 years straight and no baby bump. So today I told her why and that I felt bad taking free ones and not being pregnant. She told me, "oh hun, you just keep on taking these!"

I started taking my temp today, although the instructions in the box say that I should start recording the day after af is done. Free prenatals?! SCOOORE!! I've been taking the Costco prenatal vitamins since I had the iud removed a yr ago just in case ;) I have my dr appointment next Friday and I am super nervous, I'm just hoping she will say that we have just been timing it wrong or something simple as that. Guess I'll just have to wait and see! Oh and I always go a little crazy at the dollar store, how can you not?! It's a dollaaaar!!

@DDoulas, I started taking with my temp on CD1 and it's become a routine, the alarm goes off, I roll slightly to my right, grab my thermometer, wait for the beep then head to the bathroom! I find myself getting up early even weekends just not to screw up my pattern. And working out will make a big difference in your well being, not only psychologically but also physically. Try to incorporate some fertility Yoga if you can - it truly makes a difference-it's so relaxing.

@Waiting, my husband is a lieutenant for the fire department in NY so technically he's a State employee and we are covered by the NYS empire plan & united Healthcare and, yes, I do know we are lucky in that regard so I don't take it for granted.

AFM, I'm packing for our getaway. I'm excited but a little bummed out because AF is due Sunday and really who wants to wear a bikini when AF makes an appearance. Blah! Catch up with you ladies tomorrow.

Dh has worked for the city for 14 years. He's worked with officers, detectives and now his dream job of IT professional. He has united too. The last time I called the insurance comp to ask about coverage it almost sounded like I have to pay $200 out of pocket then they'll cover 90%. But I'm not sure cause insurance lingo confuses the crap out of me! And if you call the recommended RE they cant tell you anything.

Still waiting for O. Temp dropped this morning and cervix is high and very open. So hopefully I'll get a +opk soon.

@waiting, I just requested the benefits summary from our insurance company and apparently they will cover 100% of visits and treatments, including IVF, but we are capped at $50,000.00. Hopefully, we won't need to go that far. We will see.

I hope you get a ++++OPK today so you could get the show on the road!

@praying- you have to be ecstatic! Sucks you have go this far to have a baby but man..,,can you adopt me and put me on your plan? Rofl! It's amazing how insurance comps wil completely cover sterilization but not clomid.

I just found out last night that infertility costs are tax deductible! Getting a new tax person this year cause our guy is soon to retire and we butt heads a lot. He wont do more than a few deductions cause he says we'll get audited but I'm sure we could save a lot with someone with balls. Lol! It'll cost more but worth it.
