For those of you who are of AMA (advanced maternal age) like me, I read something interesting last night. It said your detectable LH surge lasts for a shorter time as you get older, so you should test every 4 hours to pick it up.

The site recommended starting testing a week before your anticipated date of O.

Also, it said that it is more common to have a few days delay after your surge before you O as you age. That must be why I got a + LH then thought I O'd the day after, but my ultrasound showed I O'd 4 or 5 days after.

I'm going to have to start temping to be able to tell.

I think I called it Trying to Conceive Hypochondria or something...

Temped this morning and my temps are falling ...nose dive to be exact....af due on wednesday. Tested this morning (pics posted). I took the first one and after a couple minutes I gave up and got in the shower. I got 15 minutes later and looked at it and saw a line. So I retested with same urine and saw something faint at 5 minute mark but camera didnt pick it up well.
So I dont know anymore. If my temps were higher I'd be happy but right now I'm thinking they are just evaps. Not going to spend the $$ on FRERs if they are going to be negative. So I'll just keep temping and testing and wait for the crap to hit the fan . I'm glad I'm off work on wednesday cause I dont think I'll be able to stop crying. Dh started his new job this morning and I didnt have the heart to tell him about my temps. He's trying to deny the tests.

@lisserb- I rarely ever get nauseous and this cycle I've been to the point of dry heaving and thowing up in my mouth. Our bodies suck!

Well the witch came today right on schedule! Ordered all my supplies last night, will start dancing again in about 15 days! Good Luck everyone!

@waiting, Sorry to hear about your temps dropping. Stay positive, you got a few more days! As far as symptoms go, man oh man!!! I would have sworn I was pregnant even looking at my chart but NOPE! Sucks...

Dealing with tremendous exhaustion today.. I had to battle myself to resist testing again this morning. I'm trying to test every other day until af comes. I'm nervous that all of these symptoms I've been having are unrelated and that it's all in my mind. :(

Af is supposed to arrive Wed or Thurs, so I guess I'll know in a few days. I just wish I could find some energy. Anyone have any tips for that? I'm also trying to limit my caffeine intake.. Sigh

CM started RIGHT on schedule so hubby and I start the dance tonight,
I am doing much better this time around... less stress, and I picked up a GYM membership (mom bought it for me) I am still going to ttc, but IN the meantime, I have to get fit for a few Law Enforcement tests... my CIty, and a city about 30 minutes away are BOTH having openings for Cadet school, so I need to get in shape... to be the TOP of my class... So get in... and get going on all these Student Loans etc that I have.
This week is going to be crazy busy... I have Finals, Sons friend has a birthday friday, Hubby has a history thing sat, and Son's birthday party is Sunday (after church) and inbetween all that... I have to hit the gym two more times this week :) I think I can... I think I can...

Doing my darnedest to ignore the nausea and sharp breast pains today. Called my insurance company to discuss specialist coverage and it just gives me a headache! Everyone who ovulates naturally....BE VERY THANKFUL! It's a horrible feeling not knowing when the next chance you have at making a baby is coming. In fact...it's been almost one year since I last ovulated on my own! I'm thinking about getting a new doctor since mine looks at me like I'm crazy now .

I got on facebook at my sister's house today to check my messages and my brother in law was signed into facebook and the first thing on his newsfeed was an ultrasound pic with gender announcement. I'm like, "REALLY ???". Uggg!

I know that feeling of 'WTH, REALLY?! I have prayed every night for all of us, tonight will be no different!

@xomandy- I'm sorry the witch got you love . I like charting but it can be really deceiving cause it just drops down sooo fast.

@staggart- Try going for a walk. A little exercise can really give a lot of energy.

Today is just a weird day. I'm sort of in a daze. Seriously...this has been the look on my face all day .
