Follistim cycle with no trigger...did you ovulate on your own?
RE had me do a clomid/follistim cycle. Despite being watched closely, over the weekend, I suddenly matured 6 follicles (26,25,20,18,17,17). He told me no trigger shot for risk of grand multiples but we could baby dance like crazy because I'd be ovulating for multiple days naturally. It's been 2 days since my appointment and I have not had +opk yet. I figured I'd ovulate on my own soon but I'm seeing different information. Some girls say they ovulated on their own without trigger but a couple have warned me of the follicles turning into cysts with no trigger. And apparently no one wants to finish their story on other forums and I'm left hanging not knowing what happened with them :/. Anyone been through an FSH injectable cycle and ovulate without the trigger shot???

I always like to follow up on my posts and questions because I dont like to leave curious people hanging. I did not ovulate on my own. A week after being told no trigger shot, my dr ran bloodwork and found no ovulation and my estrogen was still high enough so my eggs were still good. He triggered me and I"m in the tww now :)
