Hi! Just left from the OB. My hCG was <2. Great news! I was worried I could have an ectopic due to having had one before. She coded my visit as a miscarriage due to the tests at home, but there's no way to know one way or the other since I didn't have my blood drawn before my bleeding started. It could have just been my period, too. I was skeptical that it could be at less than 2 if it was + days before. She said it could, though, depending on how low it was before I started bleeding. Although I like things in black & white, I'm really just glad it's not ectopic. So glad.

I have been referred to an RE and go for my first visit Oct. 26 which will be about 4dpo assuming my O date is the same as the last 2 cycles. My OB does not want me messing around due to my age & doesn't want to waste my time recommending things that won't help. I'm glad she's such a kind, smart lady. Having asshole doctors and nurses makes all of this so much worse.

I'm looking forward to finding out if I'm indeed ovulating on my own - 100%. Again, uncertainty drives me nuts.

I have one OSOM hCG Combo left. I'll take it next week on at least a 4-hr hold to see if I still get the line. That way we'll know if those tests do that like the urine only ones do for future reference. I'll be sure to let you all know.

Good luck to everyone who's waiting for a BFP!!!

Hey girls! I'm still here. Been stopping in daily to check on all of you. Been busy busy busy. Had to work long hours last week and saturday we had to drive to Illinois for a 50th anniversary party along with visiting family on sunday. Finally have a few days off and it feels like heaven! lol.
On cycle day 19 and only have 10 days left til my next cycle starts!!! Thought about making one of those construction paper countdown chains to pass the time .
Talked to my doctor last week...looks like the injections I'll be on are Bravelle FSH. Never thought I'd look forward to shots . As of now...
Before OV
Prednisone
Femara cd 3-7
Bravelle cd 8-12
After OV
Prednisone
Heparin
Progesterone
The bravelle is at a specialty pharmacy in the city so I have to drive a little ways to get it. Luckily the pharmacy uses coupons to cut costs and sell at a discount, meaning cheaper for me :)

@athena and holly- feel like I jumped on a time machine back to 3 years ago. but I'm so excited to have you both back!
@holly- I'm on triveen duo. Just a basic prenatal. But I'm on foltanx for the mthfr. I thought about doing the neevodha. I plan to ask my re about it when I see him again.

@jacesmama- I was so happy to see you OV'd! I love those bfp/pregnancy/labor dreams. I keep dreaming of positive blue dye tests.

@2frsty- My heart dropped when I saw your post. But I know he already has a leg up cause you're his mommy and you'll fight for the best for him :)
I'm glad you got some pampering for your birthday. And that's great news about the RE. Have you made an appt yet?

@xomandy- It's amazing what we'll do to get our baby dancing on! lol! Felt like dh and I had been cool in the passion area for a couple weeks. So, I tried something new. It sounds like a chapter out of a dirty book but umm....I kinda walked around my house one evening with no underwear on and coconut oil on my lady bits LOL! That drove him bananas!!!!!!!!

Suddenly stressed to the MAX!!!!!!! Really beyond the Max.. Dh's work's main coal buyer is in south Carolina, with the hurricane & all the flooding there is NO way to get the coal to them. So that means no work for at least 30 days. I want to scream, puke & cry at the same time. We are screwed. Prayers please!!

Tara! I've missed you!! Hadn't heard from ya in a while.. you're one busy woman! And you've got a lot to look forward to. Have you tried any of those shots or medicines before or are they all a new regimen?

Mandy I ov'd on Friday too!! I had a positive opk on Thursday but I had the extra strong o pains on Friday!

@jacesmama- oh dang! That sucks!!! I bet you do feel like puking! I'm praying for you guys!

Both types of injections are new and what is supposed to make a big difference. The immune suppressants will be stronger as well.

Hey ladies. I don't have much time to talk, but I wanted to let y'all know I'm thinking about you. Had a huge knock-down-drag-out with DH last night over the dumbest crap, and then he "accidentally" woke John up at 5:00 this morning. So I'm utterly drained.

Good news (I guess) is that I'm fairly certain that I did O this month, but I have no idea when since I'm not tracking anything. I thought it would help to lower my stress level about TTC, but instead it's only made my anxiety level skyrocket. There's virtually no chance for a BFP this month (regardless when I O'd) because we've not BD very often at all. I know it "only takes once" but not with me apparently.

I'll write more later when I don't have a toddler throwing a plastic tib of cars at my face for me to open.

Good morning, everyone! I haven't talked much about it on here, but I started working out again after about 13 years of little to no activity outside of work in April of last year. I had been really enjoying the challenges of working out and had found something I loved - weightlifting. I had some back issues about 2 1/2 months ago, so I went to the ortho, and back x-rays showed I have a broken vertebrae with a compressed disk. It's been broken for a long time, but now it has slid 2-3cm forward, and the vertebra has pulled my nerves forward causing an impingement. I've felt kind of hollow and unlike myself not being able to lift and feeling blobbish. My boss at work referred me to a myofascial release specialist in Atlanta. I'm going Nov. 1 to see him. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I will be able to do simple things like lift my 5-yr old again and hopefully transition back to my heavy lifting. I'm hopeful, nervous, and excited all at once. I was also worried about the further back hyperextension caused by pregnancy and how it could affect my pain level. My condition is called spondylolisthesis. Funny enough, the lifting isn't what exacerbated my condition - it was HIIT training - a 1-handed burpee. No more cardio after I get my back right.

2frsty - my DH and I are up & down. I know how that can be, and I'm sorry. I do hope the little bit of BD you got done will still be enough for your BFP.

Jessica - I live in SC, and I hate to hear how your life is being impacted. It's been tragic here, but I never thought of how it would impact the well-being of people outside of our state with whom we do commerce. I hope things here resolve more quickly than expected, so you don't end up in a bad situation. Also, I'm hoping for a BFP for you. Try not to be too stressed over something you cannot control.

I said the same thing yesterday phat, that as horrible as it is for people there I'd never imagined how it could impact those farther away! I hope things are getting better, hate to hear about your back though .. seems like it causes pain everywhere from throwing your whole body out of line trying to compensate. I'm trying so hard not to stress so much, I'm just afraid of losing everything we've worked so hard for, & the thought of it sucks so so so bad!

Tara I hope all these new meds were the missing piece!! I think I've prayed & wished for a bfp more for you than I have myself! ! I know it couldn't happen to a more deserving person ..

Agreed, Jace's! Tara's should definitely be the next one!!

Phat, I've been getting injections in my lumbar spine every few weeks lately. Later this month they're going to go in and burn the ends of the nerves that are connected to my SI joints. My ex husband gave me 6 compression fractures, so I struggle with pain constantly. I'm on a pain regimen that I'm going to have to get them to tweak tomorrow. I'm so sorry, hon.
