@mandy- lol...yea I was just curious. Couldnt imagine why is was so short but babymagic is right..our bodies do stupid things when ttc. lol

Wellll...found out another friend of mine is pregnant today. She's 10 weeks. I'm jealous but I'm happy for her cause she tried for over a year with her daughter and had to see a specialist...this baby was all natural. Just 3 more days!....oh and I took an opk today cause my cervix is changing already...it was darkish! LOL.

Well took me a good hour to fill out my paperwork for my appt monday. Dh's looks all neat....mine is full of writing. lol. Shows which one of us has the problem lol.

My cervix is nice and fertile today....TOTAL SHOCK! I'm only cd 13! Is it possible my cycles are getting shorter with the metformin and paleo diet already?
I'll take an opk later to see what's up but I have a feeling I'll OV within the next week. Picking up some preseed tonight for some extra help :).

How long have you been on the metformin, Tara? It generally takes about 2 weeks for a medication to begin making changes in your body. I've had several friends begin the met and then conceive withing 2-3 cycles. Good Luck!

Tara I can't wait for you to tell us about your appointment and to see if you ov naturally again. Fingers crossed for you.

@lisserb- Hey sugar cube! I've been on Metformin since April of last year LOL. But this is my first time being allowed to OV naturally since I was on clomid so much last year. I OV'd on my own in January and I may again this month. I had a temp spike this morning but that was because I slept in 2 hours LOL.

@Athena- I'm excited too!!!! Nervous but excited.

I have a BIG day tomorrow. Wake up, go grocery shopping, pick up the house, go to my appt at 1pm.....THEN...DRUMROLL PLEASE....

PICK UP MY NEW KITTEN!!!!!
I'm extremely nervous about it but I'm excited to have a kitten running around. My inlaws live in the country where a lot of pets are dropped off on the side of the road. Well, about a month ago they had a kitten show up. They feed him from time to time but he's pretty much been outside in subzero temps for the past month curled up in different areas of their property to keep warm. Well, I met him for the first time last night and he trotted up to me in the snow covered driveway, meowing and rubbing up against my leg. He followed me inside, where we fed him and he spent dinner just rubbing up against my leg. Then after dinner the poor baby was still so hungry we jumped on the table and sunk his teeth into the butter LOL. You can tell he's been fending for himself for about a month cause he's pretty skinny. After dinner, he jumped up in my lap, gave himself and me a bath then passed out for almost an hour. When we had to leave, he woke up and started kneading my stomach and stretched out and covered me like a blanket. lol. My father in law was going to stick him back outside in the snow but the idea of him being outside by himself with little freezing paws, no food or shelter in below freezing temps just broke my heart. And they live next to a busy country route and has it's fair share of road kill. Dh and I decided he needed a loving, warm, safe home to be spoiled in. LOL. So my inlaws have brought him inside and he's just been hanging out with them til we can bring him home tomorrow :). Please say a prayer that everything goes smoothly.

WOW!!! What a day!!!!! Got a new kitten curled up next to me purring and sleeping (very weird, trying to relax and just absorb everything new...he's adorable...but I really miss my Rome Rome).

But I know what you are all interested in...what PARINTS said. When we got there you felt like you were walking into someone's apartment. It was very cozy. We sat at the kitchen table and Becky (the owner) gave me a bottled water and sat down with us. We spent an hour going over my ENTIRE ttc history as well as dh's. We're going to go this cycle naturally and see if I OV. If I dont OV in a week or so, she's going to give me some progesterone to kick it in gear. Then onto my first treated cycle...cd3, I will have an ultrasound and bloodwork to check EVERYTHING. She is even talking about testing for MTHFR gene cause of my grandma's history of strokes and m/c's....FINALLY someone who wants to listen to me! DH and I will also start a antibiotic to clean our systems of out of any bacteria (z-pak) and dh will start a multi-vitamin called Fertility Blend for Men. I will take 100mg of clomid from days 3-9! I will then have a mid-cycle u/s to check everything out. We are to bd everyother day until OV...no preseed or softcups. She said dh's semen is a little thick so instead of laying down for 30 minutes...I need to lay down for an hour. No hip lifting required either. Then when ready, I will give myself a trigger shot ($90). The next day we will do an IUI ($280). Then the next day, I will start progesterone and prednisone and she thinks she's going to increase my metformin and prescribe folgard (hi potency folic acid supplement). She wants to throw everything she has at me during my luteal phase to prevent any possible m/c. For right now, she is going to hold off on an hsg cause my insurance doesnt cover it....and that's about it LOL! So right now...we're just relaxing and waiting. I cant really think of anything else...oh wait, what dh and I thought was cool. When we walked in they were playing my local christian radio station 99.1 joyfm...I was even wearing my joyfm tshirt. It felt...right, being there :). Any questions LOL?

Kristi - my sister-in-law is Korean & has been in NYC since she was 4. I'm not sure about your hubby's nationality, but my brother is Caucasian with a strong Irish/Welsh/German/Dutch heritage, and they have the prettiest children. Their youngest of 3 boys even has blondish hair! I'm glad your twins are fraternal & at lower risk for complications. If any of the measurements don't come out as expected, try to stay calm. A lot of what they do is guesswork, and it's really hard to compare measurements from one vu/s to the next because the techs are different, or the babies are in diff positions. My. Maternal-fetal Med docs were always scaring me with some new b/s.

Afm, AF showed last night. Boo, hiss. I'm too tired after a few stressful days to cuss & carry on. Mostly I'm just disappointed after getting my hopes up & feeling so excited for a couple of days.

Hello ladies! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am exhausted, lol. Cleaned my whole house on Sunday and it killed my back! I don't know how I'm going to manage with this big belly for 11 more weeks!

Phatgurl - My husbandis caucasian too. Hungarian & Irish mostly. He's very white, lol! I wonder all the time what our kids will look like. I thought it would be cool if one had dark hair like me with blue eyes like daddy! My husband was very blond when he was young. His hair is now darker dirty blond.

I can't wait for our baby shower! It is March 1st. I will be 28 wks then! I just can't wait till May. I want to hold an cuddle these babies! I also can't wait to go on maternity leave in April! Lol, I'm so over working right now! hahahaha!
