Anyone on or near 10 dpo? How are you feeling?

Just wanted to check in with others who are like me waiting to find out if they are pregnant this cycle.
How are you feeling?
Any symptoms that are standing out that have you hopeful or wondering?
When are you going to test?

I am ttc #1. I have regular 27 day cycles with a 15/16 day luteal phase. I check my cm, take vitamins and use opk's. Been trying for almost 5 years now.

This cylce I got ovulation spotting which has only happened to me 2 times in my life before this. Hoping it's a great fertility sign?

Ovulated on Feb 13th. Now I am 10 dpo.

Symptoms so far
0 day - 7 dpo Not much. Just the usual gassy, heartburn, bloated, nipples sore for a few days after O, Some weird dreams and moody.

8 dpo - 10 dpo (current ) Vivid dreams, hot and cold body temps, dry throat, thirstier, dry skin (but it is winter) rash or pimples breaking out on my chest ??? Stuffy nose for 3 days. Mild ovary cramping/twinges. Getting shooting pains in my breasts a few times a day/night which I have never gotten before. Less moody today then the past week thank GOD! All these could be progesterone as well.

Anyone want to add on so we can obsess, wait, hope, pray and test together?

Hi ladies ~ I have missed you all! I just have been really busy having a fun summer. Work is slow in the summer time for me so I took several vacations. I just got back from a 8 day river rafting camping trip with my honey and his kids. It was a lot of fun. I honestly have not put a whole lot of thought into ttc these past 2 months. Just doing my best to have fun and enjoy my life as it is. However a few days ago I saw ewcm and realized I must be getting ready to ovulate. Not getting a whole lot of baby dancing in.. I figure - what the heck, if I get pregnant than so be it. I will NOT let it rule my every day life like it did for a few years. God knows what's best for me and my path in this life. I am coming more to terms with "what is" and being in more acceptance of it all.

~ How is everyone feeling and doing? You having a nice summer? I think of you girls often and I'm so grateful we have shared a few years together in this ttc forum. I am also grateful for seeing your fb updates. :)

Hello ladies!!

Sorry I been away for some time but honestly I needed a break and since I took a month of no meds I decided not to think about TTC and try to keep me busy.
So this month I started injectables, yesterday I gave myself my first shot which wasn't too bad. I will be giving myself this shots for the next few days every other day and will be taking Femara from cd 3 to 7. I have an appointment on Saturday to check how my body responds to this meds and then we will go from there. Hopefully I get some good eggs and we can go ahead with our IUI, September I go on my vacation for whole two weeks so probably if we do not succeed this cycle we will have to rest next month since I won't arrive on time for the meds. Kind of sucks that if I get my period will be in the middle of my vacation hahahaha!! So hopefully AF stays away. It will be nice because I will be entertained and having a good time so I won't be stress or testing like crazy like I usually do lol.

Any news from you girls? How everything is going? I missed you a bunch!! Sending you all lots of love!!

Hi ladies. Sorry I've been MIA so much lately, but a lot has been going on. Homeschool started for us at the beginning of August, and since then it's just been crazy, crazy, crazy. I'll try to condense it all.

Aug. 17th - my dh's first grandchildren were born! Twin girls Aria and Athena. We made the 15 hr drive down, and it was worth it, but very, very stressful and expensive. We left the day I ovulated, and since we drove during the afternoon and most of the night, no bding was possible. We got some in two days before, but it was the only time and it just didn't work out. My sister in law had pneumonia but her dr told her she wasn't contagious so she came by to see us several times. I won't even get into the mess with my mother in law. I can't explain why she acts like she doesn't like me anymore, or my children. I've just tried to give that situation over to God and leave it alone. But I did have to call her out in front of my father in law and the kids when she lied about something, and it wasn't pleasant.

The trip to see the babies lasted 6 days, four of them on the road. When we got back, it was around 5pm on the following Wednesday. I had to run to the grocery store to try to scrounge up some food with the money we had left. My dh texted me and said to hurry home - he had to go to the ER. He was having chest pains, with the pain radiating into his back, down his left arm, and up into his jaw. So to the ER we went, where he stayed all night and the rest of the next day. They ruled out a heart attack and in fact said it wasn't his heart at all, but they have no idea what caused it.

I think I told you guys my mom needs cataract surgery, right? She's been having issues for a long time now, but since she never goes to the dr she had no idea what it was. I finally convinced her to go (she lives in SC) by getting her best friend to talk her into it and take her. The eye surgeon said she needs the surgery in both eyes, but he also saw hemorrhaging in the right eye and said she had to get checked out by a PCP. So then I basically had to bully her to find a PCP. When she did, she found out she has high blood pressure (200/100 and something), high cholesterol, and type II diabetes!! She has to get all of that under control by the middle of September or she has to reschedule her cataract surgery. My issue here is she won't ask her PCP any questions AT ALL, and won't go to an endocrinologist - a diabetes specialist. So she has no idea how to take care of herself or even if the PCP knows what he's doing. To say I'm a little stressed out over this is an understatement.

Since we came back from our trip to see the twins, my 2nd ds has been coughing and feeling under the weather. I got him in to the dr yesterday and guess what - he has pneumonia!! Thanks sister in law. Although to be fair, I know he could have caught it from anywhere.

Today is DS#1's 17th birthday. Wow, where does it go?

I've decided for my peace of mind I'm only going to chart my temps until ovulation going forward. I was obsessing too much, and I just can't take it anymore. Even if I get pregnant again, as of right now, my statistics show I only have a 40% chance of carrying the baby to term. (10 pregnancies, 4 live births) I'm pretty down about things and just don't have a lot of joy to go around right now. I probably won't post on here much, but I'll keep reading along and watching everyone on Facebook.

Lschrader...so sorry to hear about your dog. I pray the water therapy helps!

Skyline and Athena...isn't it crazy how fast a year has gone by?!

Everyone else....still wishing you all the best!

Hi ladies, I know this thread hasn't been that active for some time now, I just wanted to say hi.

How is everyone doing -

@skyline - How are you and baby Oliver doing?

@Zyara - How did your blood work go? You mentioned you were doing injectables this cycle. I don't know a much about what that process entails, but fingers crossed for you this cycle. How are you feeling?

@Honcat - Hi lady. How are you?

@Lschrader - How are you feeling mama? How far long are you in your pregnancy? So sorry to hear about your dog Bentley. How is he doing? When is your due date? Hope you are feeling good and doing well.

@Football - How are you? How is baby Winston and you doing?

@Athena - Hi. Hope you and Elijah are well.

@Rebecca - Congratulations on the twins being born. Sorry to hear about your mom needing cataract eye surgery. How is your husband doing and feeling? How scary that must have been to have him in the ER. I pray that he remains okay. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

@Pisces - Sending you love & prayers my friend. :(

Anyone else I forgot - hello to you too!

AFM - I spent most of this summer playing and going on 2 different vacations. I was in a HUGE need to be in nature and adventurous again like I had used to be for many years so longs ago. My nickname was gypsy spirit in my youth and 20's. I got to tap back into my carefree side a few times this summer and I'm grateful I did. I spent less time thinking about "How I'm not pregnant" or any other statement around not conceiving that makes me feel sad, bad or down. I can't say I actually let the desires go, just that I put those on the back burner and put having fun on the front burner.. :) Now it's back to work I go. Sept - Jan is my busiest time of the year work wise. My af is due today.. I will keep you posted. Oh and I have to do another ultrasound this week to see if there has been any changes in the fibroids. I miss all you girls. I understand life has a way of getting busy and what brought us together may not be a day in day out need to connect like we used to, but know that I think of you ladies often. I hope each of your lives are full of health & happiness.

@HONCAT - We are doing great! So excited for you! Only 8 more weeks! How are you feeling?

@zyara - I figured you might be taking a break during your off month. I am sorry that September will be an off month too, but I hope your vacation is a blast! (And will be keeping my fingers crossed that AF will stay away!)

@Kawaii - If you check back in, let us know if you got a BFP!

@rebecca - Are the twins your step-grandchildren? :) I like the names! About your MIL... look and and read about Narcissistic Personality Disorder (specifically, mothers/mother-in-laws with it) and come back and tell me if it sounds like you MIL. Oh no, that is scary about you DH! :( How is he feeling? I know gallbladder can cause pain to radiate around to the back... but I'm not sure if it can go up to the jaw. :-\ I was recently reading something that mention chest pain radiating to the back that was an early symptom of something, but I'd have to go look back at my search history to find what it was... I'll see if I can find it. I hope your mom gets motivated to take care of herself, I know that has to be a very big burden on your mind! And wow! I am so sorry that DS caught pneumonia. Good grief! Y'all have had too much! Sending you a big hug! I have not charted my cycle yet, I was wanting to get back to it to make sure my cycle is regular, I think I will try and start with my next cycle. It will be nice to have a baseline to work in the future.

@miracle - We are doing great! :) I know this summer has been slammed. I keep meaning to post, but then I either have way too much to do, or I just feel lazy and don't want to do anything. I am so glad you have taken the summer to tap into your gypsy spirit! I can't imagine how therapeutic that would be, I yearn for more time in nature. I hope the fibroids are either behaving themselves or shrinking. I think I should probably make an appointment to find out how mine are doing.

How is everyone else doing?

AFM - Oliver is turning 1 on Sunday and our ENTIRE families will be there! With him having 10 aunts and 5 uncles, that's a pretty big accomplishment! I'm so excited.

Af got me AGAIN! This period is wiping me out.. making me feel very drained and tired.... ugh! I will be in Los Angeles out of town for the days leading up to my ovulation and on ovulation day this cycle. :( Total bummer.

@Skyline - I can't believe Oliver is turning 1 years old already. So crazy! I saw the little turtle cake pop designs you posted on fb, so cute. Sounds like you are going to have a HUGE party with family. I hope it's a lots of fun. Can't wait to see pictures. So did I hear you mention you are going to start tracking your cycles again and start ttc baby #2?

Hello my dear friends!!

This forum is being so quiet lately!!

@miracle I am happy you are living your life leaving the stress behind. I being trying to take stress out of my life too and let be what needs to be right? Sorry AF showed with her evilness.

@everyone else hope you are al doing great, I see some of you on my Facebook and I love to know everything is going well. Love seeing you enjoying life with your loved ones!! Hope you can take some time and keep us updated on how everything is going.

AFM well, we started the injectables this cycle with a small dose to see how my body reacted. We had 2 follies and we ended up doing TI since I am going on vacation and didn't wanted to do am IUI since I had 2 follies before and didn't really got any luck so we are looking for 3 or more before IUI. I am at the end of my TWW, the witch should be showing her ugly face in the next day or two, right on time for my vacation (bummer) but I'm cool with it. This cycle we will probably not do much since I'll be away for 2 weeks and we can not track my ovaries to see if there are any cyst so we will be trying next month with a higher injectable dose. My body didn't act too crazy to the meds and I had some cramping and boob tenderness but it happened before with the trigger shot so I don't really feel any different so far. I am proud to say that this 2 weeks I lived a normal life not thinking about anything and no testing at all!! I think I finally got to that stress free part of TTC when you finally stop getting worried or excited and not giving up but kind of accepting that if it haven't happen is not mean to happen and I already started making plans for saving for in vitro for next year so let it be!

Anyway, just kind of wanted to catch up with you all, I hope everyone is great.

Sending lots of love!

@miracle - I hope you have recovered from AF. I'm sorry she was treating you so bad. I'm sorry you are going to miss this upcoming O. Maybe you could get a sample to refrigerate? Yes, I want to track my cycle to make sure it is normal. (It was pretty irregular before, and I want to know if I need to get back on my hormone balancing diet.) I am hoping we can start ttc #2 in April, but I am afraid something big is going to have to change with our financials before DH will get on board. There are some possible job opportunities for DH, I am hoping one of them pans out. I cannot believe he is one either. Crazy! The party was great, and at the end, after DH's family had left, my brother and his GF announced their engagement! They are planning a spring wedding. How is your Etsy shop doing? Have sales started to kick off, or is it still a little early?

@zyara - Has AF come?? Hoping she stays away!!! Have fun on your vacation!I am happy that you have come to a more peaceful place in your ttc journey.

@rebecca - Hey lady! Hope you check in soon. You guys have just had way too much to deal with. I hope your foot gets well quickly! Okay, I was curious and wanted to ask what brought about Titus having the lip (or tongue) tie procedure?

@LSchrader - How have you been feeling? Any progress with the name Lucy?

AFM - I'm on CD41. I guess it was a little too much to expect my cycle to regulate right away. I will see how long it takes for AF to show up and be sure to temp next cycle to see exactly what is going on with ovulation, see how long it takes AF to come next cycle, and if it's really long again, start the hormone balancing diet for my 3rd cycle. I will probably start trying to reduce my fibroids with diet at that time as well. I really wish my Dr./Midwives were still in my insurance network, I want to have a check up, but am not crazy about going to someone I have never been too before. Blergh. Anyway, I feel fine, haven't noticed any PMSing, maybe I haven't even ovulated yet.

Skyline....hi! Congratulations on your brother's engagement! Exciting news. So basically, Titus was extremely tongue tied. I'm tongue tied too, but not that bad. Our oldest DS was as well and had to have his clipped when he was a few months old. They thought they'd clip Titus' too, just after he turned a year, but he started having to change his suction when he nursed (it really hurt) and was dribbling milk while nursing when he didn't before, and then was trying so hard to push his tongue forward that he was actually splitting the tie. (I'm sure there's a name for that little strip of skin, but I'm not sure.) So they decided to go ahead and snip it. Sorry you're having a long cycle. Hopefully things will regulate soon.

Lschrader - how are you? How is your baby girl doing? Is Bentley continuing to progress?

Miracle - it looks like your Etsy shop is kicking into gear big time with the approach of fall. How are you doing? Love the pictures of you on Facebook spending time with loved ones.

Zyara - enjoy your vacation, glad you are being able to relax some about TTC. I know how hard it can be on the emotions!

Afm - not much going on. I temped and we DTD EOD until right before I o'd, then we DTD on O day and the two days prior. Only time will tell. I'm staying off FF as much as possible, and just not tracking anything. I'll know somewhere between 9/23-9/26 if we were successful. Then of course starts the other half of the battle!
