Anyone on or near 10 dpo? How are you feeling?

Just wanted to check in with others who are like me waiting to find out if they are pregnant this cycle.
How are you feeling?
Any symptoms that are standing out that have you hopeful or wondering?
When are you going to test?

I am ttc #1. I have regular 27 day cycles with a 15/16 day luteal phase. I check my cm, take vitamins and use opk's. Been trying for almost 5 years now.

This cylce I got ovulation spotting which has only happened to me 2 times in my life before this. Hoping it's a great fertility sign?

Ovulated on Feb 13th. Now I am 10 dpo.

Symptoms so far
0 day - 7 dpo Not much. Just the usual gassy, heartburn, bloated, nipples sore for a few days after O, Some weird dreams and moody.

8 dpo - 10 dpo (current ) Vivid dreams, hot and cold body temps, dry throat, thirstier, dry skin (but it is winter) rash or pimples breaking out on my chest ??? Stuffy nose for 3 days. Mild ovary cramping/twinges. Getting shooting pains in my breasts a few times a day/night which I have never gotten before. Less moody today then the past week thank GOD! All these could be progesterone as well.

Anyone want to add on so we can obsess, wait, hope, pray and test together?

Ashin - I've had an ectopic pregnancy that I found out about at 4 weeks. Everything turned out ok, but finding out I was pregnant - lots of joy - only to be told it had implanted in the wrong place - lots of sadness and anxiety - was hard. I'm praying all is well with you and your baby. I'm glad the dr wants to keep a close eye on you. Please keep us updated as you can.

Margaleona - Hi and welcome! Can you tell us some more of your back story? How old are you? How long have you been trying? Do you have any other children? I'm 41 and am pregnant with my 4th. My kids are almost 16, 11, and 8. I've had one ectopic and 4 miscarriages that the drs haven't been able to explain. Hope you get some good news soon!

Lschrader - Love your idea of trying to make sure your body is at it's optimum peak as you look forward to conception. As hard as TTC can be emotionally on us, I think it's very important to focus on the things we can affect. For me, it gives me something positive to focus on. Hope you're doing well today and have a great weekend.

Skyline - water birth! You are such a free flowing person. I hope that didn't come out wrong, what I mean is you seem so open to trying something different. I'm too much of a chicken! :) My mom had the first 3 of us at a hospital and hated the experience, so then had the last 5 at home, without any medication and with a midwife. With my history, I probably couldn't do that anyway, but the idea scares me to death. I've seen water births on video before, and they seem very relaxed and more homey. I can't wait to hear your story.

Athena - your pictures of the baby are so sweet. What a cutie. How are you doing? 10 weeks to go!

Football - how are you?

Pisces - I wish I was sweet as sugar! Lol! I can be a meanie, just like everyone else, but thank you. You're absolutely right, I'm going to pray for her and just let it go. I think Margaleona said her rule was to let her DH handle his mom and leave it at that. That's the way I've always dealt with her, so I'm just going to stick with that. I'm sorry someone has hurt your feelings on the forum, I hope it was unintentional! But I agree with the things you wrote, they are what I think this forum has always stood for. I'm so glad you're back posting more often, I love reading you.

Miracle - I hope you and your dp are doing well. Sometimes we just need to step back and catch our breath with all that's happened. Sending you my love and prayers.

Afm - yesterday was very busy for me. I had my counseling session in the morning, then met a friend for coffee at Panera afterwards. If I've never mentioned it before, after I lost the baby last year, and after I struggled with deep depression for 3 months without "getting over it", I went for counseling. I couldn't remember if I'd ever said that here, and wanted to be honest and open about it. I'm not ashamed of it....in fact I think it saved my sanity. I was diagnosed as being severely depressed at the time, but have worked my way back to a more healthy frame of mind with help. I don't go as often now, but the therapist wants to keep in touch until a few months after the baby is born, since I may be more prone to postpartum depression. As much as I enjoyed the time with my friend, it wore me out emotionally. I guess I'm too introverted. Wednesday we took the little kids to a beach in Rhode Island for the day and played around there. It was a lot of fun, but even with plenty of sunblock I got burned a little (too fair skinned), and I've broken out in freckles all along my forearms. I'm so tired today. Like I could just go back to bed and sleep some more. I may try to take a nap, but I have so much I need to do around the house!

Hope everyone has a good day and weekend!

Hi All -

I am 26 years old, I have a 2 year old son and am TTC #2. I have been TTC for 3 months. I am 10 DPO today and have had BFNs for the last 3 days, so I am starting to feel out. Bbs arent sore or swollen, but tingle like let down with breastfeeding. had mild/dull cramps for the last few days. My temps have been high, but today they looked to be dipping lower so that also leaves me feeling like I am out this month.

Ugh! I like to leave the past behind. Not give any energy to the things that happened before. No feeling sorry. Just looking forward with optimism. But
Briefly I had early mc 2005. Stopped trying that year. Then resumed ttc 2009. Nothing til ectopic in June, this happened just when I gave up. Hah.
I'm 40 and have lovely fur babies at the moment. Low ovarian reserve. Noted from work up in 2011. All the parts work, and DH is good as well.
Anyway that's the past ;)
Happy thoughts.

Firewife welcome and good luck, remember you aren't out until the witch shows.

Rebecca I'm glad you got the help you needed and still are sticking with it. It is a brave thing to do to admit you need help. As for your mother-in-law she seems like a real piece of work. I think that she is just trying to play mind games with you. I'm very blessed as far as my mother in law is concerned. She has always treated me as their own child, even when we weren't married. When we told her that I was pregnant she hugged me before my husband and he was like really mom lol.

Ashin my levels were at 800 at 5 weeks, so I wouldn't be too worried. I'm glad they are keeping an eye on you to be sure.

margaleona welcome, I hope you get a bright and shining bfp fingers crossed for you.

Lschrader I hope that you get your bfp very soon. I know its hard waiting but I really do think it's coming your way soon. I cant wait to see how everything works out and good for you trying to be as healthy as possible.

Skyline I don't think I could do a water birth. I can't wait to hear how it goes. I've already told you but your pictures are gorgeous, I hope I can get some good ones when I do mine.

Pisces I am so glad you are back I have really missed you. I'm glad my encouragement helped you and that you were able to get it off your chest. I feel like we here are a sisterhood and if we have a problem it's better to be addressed than to let it simmer until it becomes a bigger problem later. hugs and thank you for not ditching us.

miracle football how are yall doing?

Afm I had my 30 week appt today and I along with my dr am frustrated. Eli is looking great. He is over 3 lbs now. We had the ultrasound on Tuesday to check his kidneys. They are still slightly dilated but my dr said they are within the normal range. She said now they are saying they didn't get a good picture of his lips so they want to send me to a specialist to get a better picture because they couldn't rule out a cleft pallet. It irritates me because the tech and I watched him open and close his mouth multiple times and then she went to the radiologist and asked if she had all the pictures they needed and he looked through them and said yes. I dont see why they said they had them all and then sent a message to my dr saying they didnt.

Hi Ladies ~ I'm on cd 13 of a 30 day cycle. I should ovulate somewhere around cd 15 - cd 18. I'm not going to obsess or dwell on it this cycle as my sanity and relationship depends upon it.. lol. Just going to have fun. Baby dance and enjoy my days.

@Ashin ~ Welcome to the group. Congrats on your bfp. I'm happy to hear that your hcg numbers are doubling, which is a good thing. I am keeping you a the lil bean in my prayers that it has implanted in the right spot all safe and cozy. You are right, relationship with your partner comes first. I am remembering that now as I continue to connect with my partner.

@AbbyElizabeth ~ Welcome to the group. Did you test yet? TTC has it's ups and downs for sure. I have learned so much about TTC over the years, but especially this past year hanging out in the forum. Hope you stick around and share your ttc journey with us crazy awesome ladies.

@Margaleona ~ Welcome to the group. Sounds like you are taking excellent care of your body right now in preparation for pregnancy. There are a few of us ladies in the 40's club, including myself. You are not alone. I am ttc #1 for what seems like eternity. I hope you get your bfp very soon.

@Jandkbabydreams ~ So sorry to hear about your family friend's house burning down. How scary and sad. I understand completely. When I was 16 yrs old our house caught fire and burnt mostly to the ground. We moved out for 3 months and waited for the remodeling to be complete. Anyways, I hope you are feeling better? Did you test yet?

@Lschrader ~ How are you feeling sweetie? I'm sorry you have been in a funk for a while now. I totally understand and it's ok to sulk. You have every right to be feeling sad, down and discouraged. I wish that I could wave a fairy wand and sprinkle magic dust over us woman ttc so that we could have our hearts desires manifested. Remember that piece of cake story? Your perfect piece of cake baked just for you is on it's way.. you'll see. I hope that you get pregnant before you have to do IUI for cost purposes alone. IUI might just be what you were needing all along. How are the fires doing where you live?

@Football ~ How are you? How is the kitchen remodeling going? I hope that awful epoxy smell is gone from you house. How are your energy levels doing? Hopefully you are feeling good.

@Breezy ~ Welcome to the group. Did you test yet? That's great that you never felt better while during your previous pregnancies with your boys. My best friend is bi polar and being pregnant always made her feel awful . Hope you get your bfp very soon. Good luck. Keep us posted.

@Bean ~ How are you hon? What dpo are you on currently? Hope the house move is going smoothly. I'm sure you must be wiped out?

@Rebecca ~ How are you? Sorry to hear about how your MIL has been behaving lately. I hope that it all settles down and gets resolved soon. That would have hurt my feelings too. I understand depression and anxiety. I have fallen on hard times in my past and have needed counseling as well. There is NOTHING to be ashamed or embarrassed about either. Depression is a silent killer. Unless you have experienced it first hand, it's really hard to share what you are feeling and have other people understand what you are going through. Thanks for sharing your past experience with us. I pray you don't have to go through postpartum depression after the baby is born. Our hormones and chemistry can get all whacky.

@Athena ~ Awe.. your newest baby pics are great. Yep, you are definitely having a boy. :) I can't believe you are 30 weeks already. Where the heck is the time going?

@Skyline ~ Is that the dress you made yourself in the pics you posted? WOW! You look so beautiful. Love those pictures. A water birth sounds so natural and calming for your baby to be born into. You are one brave mama for doing a birth this way. I can't believe your due date is less than a month away. Holy cow! Time has flown by so quickly.

@Pisces ~ You always have the right words of comfort for me. Your compassion is a gift. I am grateful for you. Thank you! :) I'm glad you expressed your thoughts and feelings to the group. It sucks when you get your feelings hurt by another and you don't have an understanding as to why? I hope it resolves itself. You are a strong, kind, loving, supportive, funny and amazing person. My life is better for having you in it.

@Firewife ~ Welcome to the group. Fingers crossed that you get a bfp and not the ol witch af at your door. Keep us posted.

AFM ~ We have a bunch of new ladies in our forum... yay! Like pisces said "All are welcomed here". I love that we have as a group created a safe, loving, happy, supportive, helpful and encouraging place for ttc woman of all ages and stages in their ttc journey to come to. That was my intention from day 1 in here. Thank you ladies for all that you share from your own space of comfort, openness and vulnerability. I appreciate each and every one of you for WHO you are and your stories you share. I am so grateful for those of you ladies that have gotten your bfp's and continued stay with us ladies waiting for our bfp's. We are a unique and beautiful bunch! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Evening Ladies!
Such a good vibe in here right now with all the support and sharing

I keep getting chucked off the internet, I think I may have a virus on my computer so here goes on writing a full post!

A big welcome to the new ladies to the group :

Ashin- Fingers crossed for your little bean and that all goes well, glad they are keeping an eye on you and your numbers which will be quadrupling in no time!

Abby, Margaleona, breezy, firewife and J&K I hope you get your bfp's soon. I look forward to following your journeys & bonding with the group, we have fantastic ladies in fact no friends on here that offer support and get through the two week wait (and the rest)!

Picses- As usual I love your posts as you are so heartfelt, honest and supportive! I love the relationship you have with miracle, in fact one of the many reasons I joined this group. How are things with you? I do sincerely hope I haven't offended anyone with lack of posts or mentions. I have never been the brightest tool in the box as they say!

Miracle- I'm so glad your back and are sticking with us. Things will not be the same without you! I'm great thankyou. All settled into the new flat, so happy in fact. I'm a lot calmer here, got myself out of the funk I have been in for a long time obsessing over work, family..... thanks for asking.

Sky- A water birth....sounds lovely, cleansing. The water helps sooth the pain and keeps you calm, so I have watched on One born every minute! ONE MONTH, Loved your journey through your pregnancy and thank you for sharing with us.

Athena- Loved the scan pics. Glad to hear Eli's kidneys are looking great and I'm sure Eli is just fine blowing bubbles for his mom & dad. Cant wait to meet the lil fella. How are you feeling?

LSchrader- How are you sweetie?! You are entitled to be in a funk & sulk, this journey is exhausting and it can make you feel crappy. Hope you are finding a plan that works for you to feel healthy, as you say you are ready for this, its just defining that perfect moment. I want it so much for you and your dh.

Rebecca- Rhode Island sounded great with the family! Ooh sunburn, plenty of aloe vera mrs! You are right, there is no shame in admitting you have counselling or that you had depression. Asking for help is the first step to healing. You are not alone in this. I have only just seeked help from a councillor after trying to deal with my loss, wish I had done it sooner. Did you get a good nights sleep, feeling refreshed?

Football- How are you?! As LSchrader said, where are these pictures of your new house?! Did you get your office all sorted out with all the heavy stuff moved for you? I feel like all I have is questions for you! Hope your well.

Gosh I hope I havn't missed anyone and I'm up to speed with everyone.

Sky have you heard from Lolee, jsx?

AFM: On 9 dpo today, 10 tomorrow, cycle day 25 which is when af is due as I was pretty sure I ovulated on cd 15. So not long to go is the way I see it. We will have our little bean when the time is right. Things are really good right now, especially with dh as we are making more time for one another. Fingers crossed for all the ladies awaiting their miracles.

Thanks for the encouraging words everyone.

My hcg is being checked every 2 days so it was 649-->1080-->2000. So it's going up. I have to get it checked again on monday.

They also found out I have UTI. I looked at my cultures and the bacteria is group B streptococcus (GBS). So i'm getting treated but now it means later on when I go into labor they'll have to give me antibiotics and the baby for prophylaxis. Higher risks of preterm labor or membrane rupture with GBS.. and higher risk for transfer of infections to the baby (meningitis being the main).

This is my first pregnancy and so far... at 6 weeks... it's been quite the roller coaster. Already 1 ER visit, hypotension, and UTI with GBS. Still trying to rule out ectopic due to ongoing left ovary pain.

trying to stay positive! makes me want this baby more.

Hi ladies! I'm not sure how many of you are still around, stumbled back over here whilst looking at other info on this site and thought I'd pop in and say hi! How are all the preggos going? Any new BFP's from the old crew? How's everyone going?

Well as for me, I had a dnc for my mmc on April 15th, at nearly 9 weeks pregnant. It was absolutely devastating, especially seeing my amazing DH just breaking down, I've never seen him so upset. After 3 weeks of bleeding and a minor infection, my AF finally returned nearly 7 weeks post dnc. I am now CD29 of my 3rd cycle since the dnc, and this month have gotten back into temping and using OPK's, I'm 9DPO at the moment, had my first progesterone and hcg bloods since the dnc, will get the results on Thursday, praying for a BFP! If not, my dr is booking me for my HSG next month and also wants to get me on Clomid. I'm also going to try baby aspirin, pomegranate juice and pineapple next month. Still holding out hope that we'll get our 2014 pregnancy we dream of!

Much love and baby dust to you all xxxx
