Anyone on or near 10 dpo? How are you feeling?

View Full Post

Just wanted to check in with others who are like me waiting to find out if they are pregnant this cycle.
How are you feeling?
Any symptoms that are standing out that have you hopeful or wondering?
When are you going to test?

I am ttc #1. I have regular 27 day cycles with a 15/16 day luteal phase. I check my cm, take vitamins and use opk's. Been trying for almost 5 years now.

This cylce I got ovulation spotting which has only happened to me 2 times in my life before this. Hoping it's a great fertility sign?

Ovulated on Feb 13th. Now I am 10 dpo.

Symptoms so far
0 day - 7 dpo Not much. Just the usual gassy, heartburn, bloated, nipples sore for a few days after O, Some weird dreams and moody.

8 dpo - 10 dpo (current ) Vivid dreams, hot and cold body temps, dry throat, thirstier, dry skin (but it is winter) rash or pimples breaking out on my chest ??? Stuffy nose for 3 days. Mild ovary cramping/twinges. Getting shooting pains in my breasts a few times a day/night which I have never gotten before. Less moody today then the past week thank GOD! All these could be progesterone as well.

Anyone want to add on so we can obsess, wait, hope, pray and test together?

@Rebecca ~ Sounds like a great day with the kids. Take care of your body and listen to it when it needs water, sleep, food and rest... the essentials. Need you and lil one to be comfortable and happy. :)

@Lschrader ~ I wanted to be pregnant with my best friend more than anything. My friend was the last friend that I have that was ttc a baby or even capable due to circumstances. After all I am up there in age and so are my friends... lol Most of my friends all have teenagers or are now grandmas at 40. Anyways my best friend and her dh had been ttc for over 6 years since their wedding. They tried everything known to man to conceive. They had good insurance so they were able to see fertility specialists. They were both diagnosed with unexplained infertility. They had 3 IUI procedures which all ended in bfn's. They switched RE doctors, had retaken all the fertility tests again, doctor discovered that her dh had low motility and morphology with his sperm. Doctor said IVF was their only option at that point. Finally they did their first IVF last summer and it took. We all cried tears of joy in celebration for her. I secretly was so sad that my turn hadn't come. So when I got pregnant in January of this year.. she was my biggest fan. We cried tears of happiness knowing that we'd be best friends all preggo together while our babies would be 7 months apart. After my m/c happened we were both so sad. She is having a planned c section on March 28th a little girl. I am beyond happy for her and him. Very bitter sweet. She is sensitive to my situation and KNOWS the struggle more than the average person b/c she went through it herself. I wanted us to be pregnant besties together so bad but it didn't happen and I don't get to know why.:( So I totally get what you are saying when you say you want to be pregnant with your SIL. :( Every individual ttc has their unique story. I know yours will be special and perfectly designed just for you.. Remember that it's the journey and not the destination. I try to tell myself that often when I feel down or discouraged.. like I have been feeling lately around my own ttc path.

AFM ~ I feel the ol witch lurking. I'm eating everything in sight, feeling blah and just waiting for her arrival tomorrow.

Ok maybe I'm being completely paranoid cos this pregnancy has been wanted for soooo long and I don't want anything to go wrong! Done 5 HPT's now hahahaha and all very good strong positives, still got all my symptoms, feeling more nauseous today, BUT I've also had constant cramps really low in my abdomen and sometimes lower back. It's not extremely painful, more uncomfortable. No bleeding or anything. Read up online and it says it's really common and the muscles stretching etc, but I've also read that it could be a sign of ectopic pregnancy so now I'm FREAKING OUT!!

Good Morning. Just waiting for AF. She should be here today. I jumped on the scale today and see that I have gained 10 unwanted lbs in the past 3 months. So disappointing. I guess my metabolism is not like it used to be.

@Mrsrogers ~ Congratulations on your bfp! How exciting. I hope everything goes well with you. When will you be going to the doctors to confirm with a blood test?

Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday.

@mrsrogers - I'm sure everything will be okay, some cramp more than others. Hope it stops, but maybe talk to your doctor about your concerns as soon as you can!

@MrsRogers- I know the thought of cramping may be bad, but you have to remember what is going on in your body! Everything is stretching out and getting ready to grow to support your growing babe. My OB nurse said that cramping, as long as it's not AF-like or painful, is normal; especially in early pregnancy. The fact you're getting strong positives is a great sign. I hope you take comfort in knowing that!

@Miralce- Don't you hate how the pounds seem to easily pack on? I'm always so afraid to hop on the scale. :/ I hope AF stays away, dear

@LSchrader- Thinking about you and hope you're okay. I know you're trying to stay positive about things, but it can still suck. I also planned on getting pregnant with a close friend and now that she's 24 weeks I feel left in the dust. Definitely stings. It WILL happen for both of us, though. And we'll appreciate the struggle when we have our babies laying in our arms (or crying in the middle of the night ;))! *hugs*

@Skyline- Hello :)

@Athena- Are you checking everyday? I don't think I would ever want to stop checking haha.

@Rebecca- Hope you're doing well and taking it easy

@Bean- Check in when you can! We always miss your updates!

@Pisces- Hi lady!! :)

Sorry if I missed anyone!

Thank you ladies! I am feeling better today. The first day is always the worst, as you all know. My back is really bothering me today, which is normal from AF. i am parked on the couch with my heating bad and coffee while hubs is building me a new tv stand. He is always doing projects around our house. I can't complain! He has given me a brand new kitchen, just redid our powder room downstairs and is constantly giving in to all my projects I come up with :)

@miracle-I struggled with not being pregnant with my sister the most. Especially since she started trying because we were and she got pregnant right away. Now that she has had her baby (whom i LOVE), I now have the urge to be pregnant with my SIL. She is having a little girl. My SIL is SO SO supportive of me though. I just love her. But that still doesn't make my desire go away. I pray it happens soon.

@football-thanks for checking in on me. I am trying to keep my positive outlook up. I have to keep remembering that in all other areas, life is really great. I need to take some time to step back once in a while and just enjoy and be thankful for what God has provided me in life.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! Have a wonderful day!

Saw Dr this morning, he was absolutely stoked that I'm pregnant! Had a feel of my tummy, did another pg test, sent bloods and booked in for ultrasound next Wednesday, I'll be about 7 weeks. Hubby is SO excited he's booked off to come along for the first ultrasound :) yay!!

Hello

Firstly Congratulations @mrsrogers1986 on your BFP! fantastic news.

So glad @Athena all is progressing well, your picture of your bump was so cute!

@Miracle- hope af stays away & if she shows she's not too mean.

@Rebecca- Sounds like you all had a blast the other day but glad your going to put your feet up and get some rest. Saw your bump pic too, how lovely it's coming along!

@Pisces- Glad your feeling optimal with your vitamins & working out, it's the best thing I've done & its helped me feel so much better about everything. Paris sounds like it could be lovely, Romantic!

@LSchrader- Bummer about af
Sound like you have been keeping hubby busy with little projects, they love it don't they, I get so proud looking at them when they have finished, although the book shelf DH made me is overwhelmed with books he's going to have to make me another one!

@football !! Hi girlie! Loving your pictures on FB. So glad everything is back on track and you are in tune with your body. How's schoolwork coming on, may have missed back a few pages sorry but how did you get on in your re-sit for the test way back?

Hope everyone else is well & it's Paddy's Day! Happy St Patrick's Day Ladies

AFM: Not much to report really....On cycle day 16, may have ovulated on 13th, not sure just going off ov pains. Been taking vitamin B6 which has helped me feel energetic & actually lengthened my luteal phase by few days or should I say brought ovulation on earlier. Been doing a ballet fit class which incorporates ballet stretches, cardio & yoga- cheered me up no end.

I mentioned few weeks back about pregnancy announcements in my bubble, one of which was my very good friend.....she has decided not to go ahead with the pregnancy. I of course thought I would be outraged as many would be considering how difficult it is for most of us to even get pregnant but I have found I am happy to support her as a friend as she has her reasons but cannot of course talk about the situation with her if that makes sense. It's so hard.

On a different note....I have the worst luck ever! Part exchanging my car last week and the day I go to take it to the garage it wont start, had recovery turn up and have to tow me to the garage to exchange my car for the new one!! I felt like a right tool being towed in!! The throttle had gone but I exchanged no problem and I love my new car. This happened two years ago too with my first car so you know what they say "things happen in threes"!

Hope you all have had or will have a lovely day.
