Woo-hoo! I went back to look at my second opk from noon before I took my one for midafternoon, and it was DARK!!! I am so glad I read that article yesterday and felt the ovary pain yesterday, because otherwise I would have completely missed the LH surge! My test just now was much fainter, so I never would have known! Luckily I did decide to bd last night, now I just need to get er done in the next 15 hours or so...then I'll be looking in the next couple of days to verify O. This isn't supposed to be my month, but I gotta walk the walk!

Maybe I was :)) O can mean so many good things...no not yet today....but definitely within two hours :))

@mari I just wanted to say you aren't supposed to look at opk's after 5 min cause they will get darker as they dry. And it isn't a true surge positive.

@athena- yeah, it was about the same color though. I just didn't realize how dark it was until I saw it compared to others, including the one after. I know I O early bc I know exactly when I got pg with our youngest, so I try to be super vigilant. I figure if the opk was +, I did my best, and if it was -, I still had a good time :) I'll continue to do opks for a few more days unless my temps spike in a couple of days. I'm new to temping though, so I have to "strike anytime iron is hot :)" until I catch that elusive egg!

@topo- I would love to get the crazy lottery fortune cookie! Wow!

AFM- I dtd just in case. I would hate to have my temps spike in a couple of days and know that I didn't try, plus it was a lot of fun! My poor niece spending the night must think we're crazy in our room all night! I figure that swimming tomorrow will be all about the kids...at least until evening when they go to my sister's for the night :) I am gonna wake up early in the morning to temp so I don't change my patterns in the next couple of days.
