Pisces, we enjoyed some college football yesterday and a little too much beer, got super sick. Dh and I decided we arent drinking to get drunk anymore, maybe a glass of wine or a good beer every once in a while but never in excess because being that hungover is not fun.

Afm I wanted to tell y'all I ordered clomid online from an overseas pharmacy, my last day taking it was Tuesday and my opk was almost positive so I'm think I will ovulate soon. Sometimes you have to make things happen for yourself, when it feels like no one is helping you. I am praying so hard it works.

Pisces - I like the Giants, but can't feel too bad, because my home state Panthers beat them. :) Crazy year for teams so far. The ones you thought would be great are having some pretty bad times, and vice/versa.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on AF. After the sharp cramps this am and around lunchtime, it settled down to something that felt like a pulsing pressure right over my pelvis, then a kind of flutter. What the heck? We shall see. My hubby wants me to wait to test until Wed. Don't know if I can hold off that long.

Very sad to hear about Tania, I hope she is doing alright, the pain of losing a child is something no parent should ever experience, trust me! :( my heart goes out to her and her family, it is such a horrible thing to go through. Prayers for another little blessing to come their way when their hearts are healed and ready xxxx

AFM into the next cycle now, af over and done with again so here we go this month DH had has sperm test today, go for results Wednesday afternoon and depending on how they go, dr will book me in for D&C and HSG, so I'd say this month is out for getting pregnant as I'm gonna have that done, but we'll still bd as much as usual HAHA and see how we go :)

Hi ladies, I hope everyone had a great weekend. I just heard about Tania and am heartbroken for her. That little tiny hand she posted is just precious.

I am CD21 today (just found that out from logging on here!), which means AF is due in 6-7 days. I am anxious for it to come so I can get started with all my testing.

AFM baby Eli now has pneumonia and is on antibiotics and they have referred him to a pulmonary doctor to run more tests on his lungs I will update as I can..

Caved and took a hpt...of course it was a BFN. :( Don't know why I did it. I've never had any luck finding out that way. And sure as the world, I'll start AF now. So angry and disappointed!

We're going to buy a fertility monitor and see how that works for us. Anything has to be better than this guessing game I'm doing now. The months just keep ticking by. I'm half afraid I'll use the thing, though, and find out I'm not ovulating. Then I'll REALLY be a basket case!

@athena yayyyyyyyyyy!!! I am happy you did!!!! Exciting! It could be anywhere form 7-10 days from your last dose. I think your doc was driving in the slow lane. We need you to Ovulate & that's what clomid does, it tells your pituitary gland to send O signals. I hope this is it! Hangovers suck but I plan on being wasted on Saturday night!!! I'm going to a wedding!!!!! Open bar.....lol

@mrsR hey girl ON TO THE NEXT!!!! I love your attitude so positive. I hope hubby's counts are good why are they doing a d&c? Isn't what they do after miscarriage? Maybe I am confused. HSG is good too, Tania said I would be highly fertile after mine.

@rebecca I am sorry about your are you using OPK's? I hope you are ovulating too. Have you spoken to your doctor at all?

@lsch just because you are hoping AF shows, she won't and you will be pregnant. I know it will suck to be in Vegas but everyone in this ground will be SUPER EXCITED!!!!!

@lolee I hope you baby is feeling better soon. I will keep him in my Prayers! I was so sad for Tania but happy that her twin was able to provide comfort.

AFM: CD8 Clomid tonight and tomorrow and then wait for O. I got my OPK's in the mail today + 5 free test. So I am gearing up for O. I decided to do a cleanse, started yesterday, it's a 5 day so I am trying to make sure I am toxin free.

@pisces haha hey thanks! I think after what I put myself through when TTC for my son, I got so over-involved in trying and got so depressed I ended up on anti-depressants when I wasn't getting pregnant, I definitely don't want to go down that road again! So keeping positive, I know my body can make babies, it's just waiting for it to get its butt into gear and do it! :)
Fert Dr thinks a D&C and HSG will be good for me as my cycles have been so irregular whilst TTC and my periods are quite clotted, and I think just going on how much more fertile you're meant to be afterward, he thinks if we just do a good ol' clean out in there then it'll be all good for growing a baby :)

@pisces - No, I'm not doing opks. I've thought about it, but haven't done it yet. The 8 times I've gotten pregnant, it was just do the deed and I got there. Most of the time I could get pregnant somewhere between 3 and 6 months. Twice it's taken over a year. (Once when I was 29/30, and then once when I was 38/39.) And please don't read that as me bragging about anything. Losing 5 of those babies was tough. I don't take anything for granted anymore.

My regular ob says she doesn't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to get pregnant again. She's checked everything she can check. She doesn't see a problem. The fertility specialist I saw a few weeks ago said I would probably fall into the "no reason" category, so I probably won't go see her again. My fear of not ovulating is from listening to too many people saying things like "Well, you know you're 40. Menopause is around the corner." or, "You know, your messed up cycles could be from early menopause." Stuff like that. I think I'm stressing too much. I've got to try to just relax, have fun trying, and pray for God to bless.
