Anyone on or near 10 dpo? How are you feeling?

Just wanted to check in with others who are like me waiting to find out if they are pregnant this cycle.
How are you feeling?
Any symptoms that are standing out that have you hopeful or wondering?
When are you going to test?

I am ttc #1. I have regular 27 day cycles with a 15/16 day luteal phase. I check my cm, take vitamins and use opk's. Been trying for almost 5 years now.

This cylce I got ovulation spotting which has only happened to me 2 times in my life before this. Hoping it's a great fertility sign?

Ovulated on Feb 13th. Now I am 10 dpo.

Symptoms so far
0 day - 7 dpo Not much. Just the usual gassy, heartburn, bloated, nipples sore for a few days after O, Some weird dreams and moody.

8 dpo - 10 dpo (current ) Vivid dreams, hot and cold body temps, dry throat, thirstier, dry skin (but it is winter) rash or pimples breaking out on my chest ??? Stuffy nose for 3 days. Mild ovary cramping/twinges. Getting shooting pains in my breasts a few times a day/night which I have never gotten before. Less moody today then the past week thank GOD! All these could be progesterone as well.

Anyone want to add on so we can obsess, wait, hope, pray and test together?

I need to vent for a second. If one more person says I'm having twins I'm going to flip out. It's getting ridiculous.

@Athena ~ You look great and I mean it. I looked at your photo and didn't think twins. People are rude and don't think before they open their mouths sometimes. I am sorry as I'm sure that has to feel crappy!

@miracle OMG, my mom makes the best Ceviche - it's an authentic Peruvian recipe passed down from my grandfather. Let me know if you want the recipe, okay? I'm not doing much for Mother's Day. My mom is in the US and I'm living in the UK where Mother's Day is actually in March (ironically, Father's Day falls on the same day, so go figure). My symptoms have calmed a fair bit, though my nibs are still v. sensitive. AF is supposed to be hitting me today (my cycle is 29 days), but I'm waiting until sunday before I take a test because my cycle gone 31 days before and I really don't want to waste the stick.

@Bean welcome back! I'm glad that you heard back on your results. If you want to look at it this way, because there is nothing wrong (aside from stress, it sounds like, which may be the problem right there) it really is just a matter of time before you get that you've been hoping for. Hang in there and don't give up, okay? I know it's easier said than done, but every little bit counts, and you know we're all in your corner backing you up!

@Athena OMG, people are insensitive clods. Don't let the carbuncles on the rear-end of society get you down, okay? You look gorgeous!

Athena...geez, people can be so insensitive! They don't think before they speak. You look lovely. Ignore them. I'm excited to find out if you're having a boy or a girl.

Bean... I'm glad your results were good, and I understand how you felt at first. That was the same reaction I had to the specialist not finding anything wrong to give us something to fix so I wouldn't miscarry. I think its normal to feel that initially. And like the others said, now you know its just a matter of time. I continue to pray for you, Miracle, and Lschrader.

Miracle...you have some of the most vivid dreams! I've never had ceviche, but have heard its delicious. I'm glad you're going to be with your mom. Hope she's continuing to do well.

Prinder... hope AF is a no show for you. I quit testing before she showed too because it was too much of an emotional roller coaster for me.

Lschrader. ...good luck on your goal of losing 10 lbs. I'm sure you'll achieve it. I'm trying hard to just be comfortable with my body. I know I'll need to lose weight, but I hate how i beat myself up over it. You seem to have such a sensible outlook. I want to be more like that.

Pisces...any news?

Afm...yesterday was our day off, but we spent the ENTIRE day running errands and grocery shopping. A local consignment store had a one day 30% off sale, so we jumped at the chance to buy the kids the clothes they needed for summer. I was so tired when i got to bed, but then woke up at 2am and stayed awake for almost an hour. Grrrr! Nap time will come in handy today!

@rebecca yeah, I can understand why. You know Schrodinger's Cat? This has to be something like Schrodinger's Baby what we're going through. All that aside, how is pregnancy treating you? Any interesting side-effects? Also, have you checked out the mom-to-be website of this one yet?

(I am having to split this into two posts because it is saying I have exceeded that character limit. )

Good morning all! :)

@LSchrader - So happy for your friend's BFP, I hope it is a sticky bean!! I know exactly what you mean, I had gained about 10 lbs a year or two into our marriage and was not REALLY overweight, just on the high end of normal. Well, 10 turned into 15 and then 20 and when I FINALLY figured out HOW to lose weight, I had 40lbs to work off. If I had known how to do it back when I only had 10 to lose, it would have been so much easier. So yeah, nip that there weight gain in the bud! One huge benefit figuring out how my body gains and loses has been being able to control my pregnancy weight gain. I know my body very well now, and I have yet to feel like it is doing anything crazy or unexplained. Woohooo for Elton! DH is going to get to see him again at Bonnaroo, I'm bummed, because Kanye is going to be there too, and I would love to see them both, but we decided we had better sell my ticket when the fibroid degeneration happened, and it seems like it is going to be hotter this year and I wouldn't want to get stuck out there and regret it!

@athena - Wow, 15/21 years is a lot of time to be pregnant! That's how I feel thinking of a lot of the home school moms we grew up with, my DH's mom was pregnant 9/17 years. I hope your family is able to figure out the care arrangements, I know those decisions are very hard. I had my first twin comment last night when we were at the gate going in to the Braves game. (Our boss gave us more tickets! lol) This man standing next to me said they needed to charge me for two, and then after a pause, he said, "Or three!" And I just gave him the stink eye. After another pause he looked at me a little worried and said, "You ARE pregnant, right?" and I assured him I was, just not with two. lol He seemed really relieved that he hadn't just called a non-pregnant woman pregnant with twins. That being said... I think a lot of people are clueless about how big or small someone should be at any given stage of pregnancy and fail to take into account whether that person is tall or short or has a long torso or a short torso. I am short with a short torso, so I am obviously going to have to stick out more than my taller/longer waisted 24 week counterparts. I swear, one person tells me how small I am, and I turn around and the very next person tells me how big I am! There is no rhyme or reason. So I take it all with a grain of salt. You are looking super cute, btw! So... as for what the gender will be, my original guess was girl and I stick with that only IF that thing in the picture was not a nub, if it was the nub, I guess boy. So I cannot be wrong! lol Nah, I will say girl is my real guess. Can't wait till you find out!!

@miracle - It did feel nice, but it was short lived! The naughty cat has made more messes since I cleaned the carpet and I think I am going to have to shut her up in a bathroom until she learns to use the litter box properly again. *sigh* It's beyond frustrating. One of my other cats has been "stalking" her when she goes to the litter box and that is why she has started avoiding it. I have to do some research and figure out how to stop the other cat from stalking. It's all just a bunch of CAT DRAMA! lol I am sorry about your bad dream, I really haven't had many dreams I remember here lately, but at the beginning I did have several unsettling dreams. I hope these crazy dreams are a good sign.

@rebecca - Yes, I wish I had cleaned them sooner. I only had the energy to do certain areas that needed immediate attention. When I buy my own, I will work on cleaning all of the carpet. Here is tip someone gave me that really works, chew gum! I don't know if it will work against heartburn too, but it really puts a stop to my acid reflux. Try it and see! Glad you got the seasonal clothes shopping done, I always loved going to the sales with my mom in spring and fall. I had better start finding out where all the good consignment shops are around me!

@ttcbabyavery - Let us know what happens, and good luck!

@Pinder - Welcome and good luck. I hope this is your cycle! I hope the does not show up and you are sharing a BFP with us soon! Haha! "carbuncles on the rear-end of society" perfect name for them! That made me laugh.

@Bean - I wish they would kick in just a LITTLE bit harder because I have some hard core nesting that NEEDS TO BE DONE YESTERDAY! Well, I am happy that you are all clear and everything is normal, but I understand how that came across as frustrating, since it still leaves things unexplained. Hopefully it is just a matter of time, just focus on good vibes and hopefully they will vibrate that little swimmer right up to your egg! Hehe!

@Fungus - How are you feeling?

@pisces - I hope you are doing well, and I hope that visit/trip with your DH is happening!

AFM - Me and a friend are doing the yard sale this Saturday, they predict some rain, so hopefully it won't be a failure. If it is, we will just pack everything away in the spare room and do another one in a couple of weeks or so.

A nurse with my insurance company called me yesterday, (apparently it is a free service that comes with our plan). I got to ask her about the free breast pump (for those of you in the US, one of the laws with the healthcare act is that expecting mothers get a free electric breast pump) so I found out that with my plan I can get any of the three top brand double electric breast pumps. I am stoked, to say the least. That is something we would not have been able to afford.

Okie-dokie... For all of you coming up on AF/BFP time, sending out a truckload of

Hi ladies!

First off-@athena-YOU DO NOT LOOK LIKE YOU ARE CARRYING TWINS! Not even close!!! You look adorable. As hard as it may be, try not to listen to those people who are making those comments. Even though they are incredibly insensitive and rude, they probably have NO clue how hurtful it really is. Unless people have gone through a pregnancy, or TTC, they are clueless.

@bean-I am so happy your results came back clear. I totally know what you mean. I think its very normal to feel that way. One of my best friends did the testing a few months after me hers came back totally normal as well. I think now you can move on and just know that you both are healthy and its all in God's timing now. It will happen!!

@skyline-UGH DARN CATS!!! I dealt with that for two years...sadly my cat had a disease that was making her pee, but cats can taunt and bully. Its something you have to take care of right away or else it turns behavioral. I would separate them for sure.

Yes I am stoked about Elton! Can't believe I get to see him for a second time!

@Pinder-Hope AF stays away!!!!

@pisces-always thinking about you! Loved your cupcakes!

@rebecca-Thank you! I know I can do it. I am just eating way healthier...nothing processed and cutting out wheat and dairy for thirty days. I am starting a new program called Juice Plus and its all plant based and whole foods. I am really excited.

AFM- I am feeling good ladies! Just living and loving life for now. DH and I bit the bullet last night and bought a Vitamix! OMG, if you have not seen these...youtube them. they are amazing! This will for sure help me with my weight loss :)
13dpo today and AF should be here Monday. So I could be seeing signs of her this weekend.

@Skyline Wow, that's so great! I'm so happy to hear that the ACA is doing some good. I missed out on being able to take part on it because I moved, but I'm looking forward to seeing what the UK NHS system will be like; if what my Sister-in-law experienced (she gave birth last year) is any indication, it should be comparable to what you're getting now. So far, hasn't reared her ugly head so knock-on-wood that she stays away tomorrow as well.

@LSchrader if it helps, my mother always conceived when she was trying to lose weight (go figure, right?) so...
