I did do soy this cycle so maybe more than one came around. He is on fertilaid but I was thinking something else to add to it. He has never had an actual analysis done. He isn't THAT concerned about babymaking I think. Since I have 2 older kids I think he feels like its Ok if that's all we have but he wants one of his own too I know. i think he kinda thinks if it happens, that's great .....but if it doesn't that's ok

Hoping, I wish I could tell you what it was that improved my DHs sperm count. I have him on so many different supplements and tea even. I only had two sperm analyses done too - the first was bad and the second was ok. It's possible that the first was just screwy and he didn't have a problem after all. Frustrating, because it appears there isn't an answer as to why we can't conceive now...just unexplained infertility. Anyhow, he's still taking supplements just in case that's what's doing the trick.

So AF arrived in full force yesterday, a day late. I called the clinic today and got set up for this cycle. I'm going to do another monitored cycle, with clomid, and hopefully an IUI on or before the 20th of the month. That's their last day before closing for the holidays so if I don't O by then, it will have to be just timed intercourse instead - which I'm fine with. I go in on the 10th for an ultrasound to see how things are looking. I'm hoping, hoping that my lining is a bit thicker this time around. Going for acupuncture again next week too.

I ordered him countboost to take in addition to the fertilaid. Gonna up what he takes of that too. I asked the question if anyone had any results with it and one woman said her dh count went from 10,000 to 200 mil in 3 mos ! I hope that happens to me....[fingersx]

Heading to town for a much needed break with Ken, very excited as we are staying at the casino in cairns which is the nicest place, will post pics soon.

Nothing much new here...just taking clomid and waiting for my ultrasound...on Friday the 13th - eek! I'm so hormonal this time - up and down and all over the place. I'm probably driving DH crazy. On the plus side, I've been having tons of energy. Not sure if that's related but I'm loving it!

Hey girls. Quiet around here lately...everyone must be busy getting ready for xmas!

I had my CD9 ultrasound today and have lots of big follicles but my lining was only 5 mm, so we're unlikely to go ahead with the IUI this cycle. I'm bummed but not entirely surprised, since it was on the thin side last time too. I'm still holding out some hope that the estrogen I was given will help. I go back in on Sunday for another ultrasound.

On the plus side, I am loving the acupuncture and I actually feel that it is probably of more value to me than the IUIs. We'll see. Mel and any others interested in acupuncture should check out the book - The Infertility Cure by Dr Randine Lewis. Amazing book - but be prepared to study and work at it if you decide to follow this route. It's no easy fix.

Northernbaby: Sorry you weren't able to continue on with an IUI this cycle but so happy to hear that your staying positive and that acupuncture is going so well. I'm hoping to start after christmas and since it will take about 3 months to be matched hopefully I will get a good amount of rounds in there.

AFM: I know I haven't been on much just super busy getting ready for the holidays. So since I was on here last I got all the paper work sent into CC and had a consultation with the coordinator. She gave me my list of pre-reqs and told me to expect to be matched in 1-3 after I complete them. She also informed me that the only guarantee they have to matching you is race. :/ Many of the girls on the CC forum think they just say that so that you don't get your hopes real high but said they were matched well so we will see. I'm not that worried about it. Anyways I luckily already had my bloodwork done and a pap done so I was able to send my health history in right away and now I'm waiting to get a consultation over the phone with the doctor. the coordinator told me with the holidays it probably won't be until January but I'm really hoping sooner. I will keep you all posted!!! :)

Mel, that`s great that things are moving! January will be here before you know it, with everything going on over the holidays.

I had another ultrasound today and found out that my lining is now 8 mm and the dominant follicle is 22 mm!! So, we`re actually good to go for an IUI tomorrow! I was so surprised! It`s not a good day for my hubby but he still wants to do it. Fingers crossed that it all works out.

Yay for all the good news girls!! Sorry I have been mia, been busy. On a positive note I have some pos hpts, on a negitive they aren't getting darker and my temp has dropped! I can't beleive we got preg again on our own just for this to happen! I'm not sure if I will even tell the clinic! I didn't tell ken thankgod! I posted some pics but iI'm not hopeful and it feels like af will be here any second, I really wish I didn't take my temp today. I have my review with the clinic on wed to talk about why my cycle failed, still going ahead with Feb so far :)

Whoa, stillfun - I checked out your photos and it sure looks positive to me! Was your temp low just one morning? It might not mean anything. Hope it goes back up for you tomorrow. Keep us posted! Maybe the IVF gave your body a kick in the a** to get it to work!
