I don't really drink soda so its not really a problem, I drink two cups max of coffee a day, when Igor preg I switched to decafe
BFN from the clinic but I did bring our problem with Kens sex drive and they look like they want to help, my nurse suggested a tablet I'm not sure what but I will have an appointment with the specialist I'm sure kens going to hate it but its becoming a real problem!

Boo for that Stillfun sorry about that it was sounding good. Great about Ken though, lack of drive can be a real pain especially when you are trying to conceive, I am convinced that was part of our problem from the beginning.
How is everyone else doing?

AFM: waiting for next doc apt Sept 9 at 16 weeks. Swear I felt the baby kick the other day, I know what you are thinking, too early etc... but I remember what it felt like with Annika and it felt the same. Can't wait until that becomes a regular occurrence then I know it's real LOL

I'm still stalking the board! I don't get on as much as I used to tho. I am 2 DPO I think and BD 2 days before and day of O. So, we will see if anything good happens. I hope y'all have better luck with the IUIs and meds. I am still just going on the old fashioned way. My sister just had her 3rd baby in less than 5 years last weekend. Of course it was exciting for all. She had been in mild labor for about 2 weeks....continuous contractions, but no pain. Her OB said there was nothing going wrong and she could walk around like that for weeks. (she was not thrilled) well, she was sleeping Saturday night and woke up to get cookies and milk for a snack. When her feet hit the floor, she felt something run down her leg and was excited that her water finally broke...but it was blood. So she rushed my nephews over here and went to the hospital anyway. (They had told her not to come back till her water broke.....she had been for labor 4 times) Well, my newest nephew was born within 10 minutes of arriving at the hospital. They had to hold him in till she got on a bed! That was the only pain she had. Her water never broke and he was born completely en caul.....1 in 100,000 births!!! Delivered by nurse with no pushing. He just slid out in his little water bag.....
Makes my baby fever come back to hold that little sweetheart.....And sad that I can't seem to have another one of my own

Still waiting on AF ggrrr, I must say at 20dpo I am really over this cycle! I POAS yesterday (first one in days) just to see if I still had HCG in my system and that's why I don't have AF and looks like there's still some lingering :(
I spoke to my BFF about how hard the cycle was emotionally and physically with all the preggo symptoms and all she said was "huh try 9months of it honey" I didn't say anything but thought it was very insensitive and rude, she is preg for the second time in 2 years without trying, she also made me feel bad that Ken has a low sex drive, like its something wrong with our relationship, she said that her and her partner do it every day with a 1yr old and being together for 8yrs, but then complained that he is tired and wont give her any like 3 days later, she doesn't understand that Ken wants to do it, he understands that when its O time there is a job to be done but he sometimes just cant, she even said that he is probably doing it because he doesn't want this! I bit my tongue but I think I wont be sharing any more stuff that is bothering me as she will always find a way to make it into a competition, she has even admitted telling people lies and stories about me to make her appear better and that she was always jealous, I don't think anything has changed and she is just capitalising on my misfortune to make herself feel more accomplished and better abut herself, I don't know why she has to be like it, she even got upset when Ken and I bought our first investment property that the house was nicer than hers and it wasn't fair because her husband doesn't make as much money as us! I felt like saying "you stupid bitch" We have gone without for years saving our money not going to every event like you so we can have nice things in our life be happy for me not jealous! As you can see she has really upset me over the past few weeks, She is my only girlfriend but a real friend would support me through this not try to make herself look "better" than me. I don't think she is much of friend somehow,

Wow Liz are you sure your not pregnant?! I'm so sorry that your friend isn't being much of a friend and that she's not being supportive. That wasn't very nice of her. Don't let people like that get you down. You and Ken have an amazing relationship and you will have a beautiful family. Every relationship has their downfalls but that doesn't mean your any less perfect for each other. Maybe she is jealous of the strength you and your hubby have?

Good luck hoping that is crazy, how fast your sister had her baby!! Wow! We should all be so lucky ;) lol!

Anastasia: the time is going by so fast! Awe I'm sure your baby will be kicking before you know it!!!

Afm: not going to lie I've already failed my soda quitting lol! I started my clonus last night. Just 50 mg. so hoping I won't have many symptoms this cycle. Well I need to get to bed! Talk to you all later!

Fingers crossed for you hoping!! That's crazy how fast and easy your sister's baby came! I've never even heard of a baby being delivered in the sac like that.

Stillfun, those are really awful things for a supposed friend to say. It's too bad that some people let their insecurities get in the way of being a true friend. Good on you for biting your tongue...not sure I'd be able to! We're getting comments like that about money etc from my family and it's such a piss-off! My hubby and I save like crazy and don't buy all the gadgets and toys that all my siblings and their families do, and then they make comments about how wealthy we are. Well, if they'd saved and made sacrifices, they'd have money in the bank too. I'm just waiting for a comment from my sister about us not having kids...I think I will lose it if she brings that up (no one in my family knows that we are trying, well ok, only my brother and sis in law). Anyhow, don't pay attention to what she says - you and Ken have a great relationship and your friend is obviously completely ignorant about hormones and infertility.

LOL Mel, I feel like I'm sliding off the no-caffeine wagon too. The only reason I haven't had a coffee today is that we're out of milk. Ate a bunch of chocolate at break this morning. Oh well, there's always tomorrow right!? What is clonus? Good luck this cycle!!

AFM, I think I'm CD10 today. I'm out of OPKs and can't be bothered to buy more since they don't seem to work anyhow. Just going to BD every two days and also O day if we can.

I think she ment Clomid but her phone corrected it LOL

Have a question,
Would it be possible to test darker today than yesterdays? its been 8days since my last shot 750mIU, it doesn't make sense, I only tested cause my temps are nearly 37c they never are that high, my tests arnt dark enough for 21dpo but why would it be darker today, I have posted 2 pics

LOL, clomid makes more sense! I thought Mel wasn't doing meds this cycle though.

Stillfun, I'm totally perplexed about your cycle. Isn't the clinic concerned about how the meds have messed it up? I can only think of one reason for it to be getting darker and your temp staying up. It should be dropping by now, I would think. Did the clinic tell you anything about what to expect?

I called today and booked my next appt at my clinic. I thought once the process was rolling, I wouldn't have to wait so long for appointments...but the soonest they have is OCTOBER 3rd. It's fine because I wouldn't be able to do a cycle until October anyhow and the appointment is a week before my expected cycle start date, but man, they must be awfully busy.

Northern: Yes I meant Clomid lol! I decided to take it to help me O on time. O'ing 4 days after a positive OPK is not working for me lol! and I think my body gears up to O a lot and then backs down so I'm just hoping the clomid can help me time things better.

Stillfun: could you have O'd later then you think? I would call and ask the doctor and maybe they will have you go back in for another beta. I don't see how the line could possibly get darker unless you were pregnant!

AFM: Already feeling the hot flashes. UGH! I have been using my ovacue but I've been failing at keeping the time the same. Hopefully it won't affect it too much.

I did CD21 7dpo p2 e4, I think the test might have been a super sensitive one cause I have tested again and its there but not as dark, I wonder why its still in my system? 8days is a long fricken time! I just want AF to start so I can get started on our next cycle but with these temps it doesn't look like coming anytime soon, I have a tele consult soon I am trying to organise it now but my clinic is hopless with getting back to me, I do it all via email cause the phone we use is a work/company phone and I don't want those sort of messages left on the phone for other ears to hear! My nurse asked them to sort it yesterday morning and I just sent them another email just now and still waiting, I will be busy next week so I hope they pull there finger out, I have heard of the corpus lentum leaving a cyst and producing progesterone, I wonder if its that??? I know my clinc will just say oh just wait a few days to see what happens so there is no point call them about it.
Mel- good luck with your drugs LOL, I don't think I ever want to do a HCG round EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!
