Anastasia: I was really tired when I got my little bfp too. That is def. pregnancy related! I think it will be great to have your hubbys support when you go to the doctor and I have a feeling everything is going to be perfect!! I don't blame you for wanting to keep it a secret for a bit though. Maybe you can blame the not playing baseball on your husband. lol!

AFM: I have brought up trying this month to the hubby yet. I'm scared he will just shoot me down and it will cause an argument. Things have been going really good with us lately and I would hate to mess that up. Oh well. He goes back to work tomorrow and If I don't being it up I will go crazy the next two days not having the option lol! Talk to you all soon!

Stillfun: I think we were posting at the same time lol! We are still saving but I know Dh plans on the money going elsewhere and me getting preggo lol! Good Luck I hope that the cramping is you sign and that you get the dip soon and a BFP! That would be awesome to have multiple BFPs so close together!!!

Just wanted to post and say how bad my cramping is and read back to how I felt last time! Its pretty bad cramping and the extra bowel movements have also started so FX for this being IMP day cause it freaking hurts like last time :)

Starting to think the cramping was from the Dirreha cause I haven't been able to get off the loo since lunch yesterday so I am hoping its preg related but I doubt it :(

Hi ladies. My name is Nicole. My dh and i have been trying for about 3 years now with no luck. This month i had started clomid, and everything looked great but we just got his sa back and there were no sperm in it. We're going to schedule his second one for about a week from now. A friend from another forum recommended this one. Good luck to everyone here!

In your experience, is there anything we can do to get him to start producing sperm again? Any special vitamin supplements? Really any and all advice would be welcome.

WELCOME to the Family LittleBee: I love your username! I'm so sorry about the SA. I really hope that the second one comes out differently. Do you have any idea as to what might have caused the problem? My Dh had cancer when he was 7 so we didn't think we would have any issues because of how young he was and then in 09' we too received the news that my Dh had no sperm. Did your doctor have him go in for blood work as well? That will let them know if its due to a blockage or a hormonal issue. I wouldn't suggest he take anything until they know where the problem might be coming from. Of course make sure he avoids hot baths, hot tubs, no laptops directly on lap and He can always take regular multivitamins in the meantime. Now depending on how everything goes I would suggest having a phone consult with Dr. Turek in San Francisco. He is one of the top male infertility specialist and will give you a free consult over the phone. We called him but based on my Dhs bloodwork results and SA and past history we were given only a 10% chance of them finding sperm. So for us it wasn't worth it. But there are many couples who have been fortunate enough to have sperm found even after a zero sperm count. My next biggest suggestion would be to give it time. Your DH will most likely need time to digest it all. It took my Dh a full year before he was willing to even talk about anything baby related. Once he did start talking we moved forward but it was the longest, toughest year ever! When hes ready sit down and figure out what your willing to spend and then what your willing to do. My dh was very against donor sperm but once he realized how expensive everything else was it became the only move that made sense. We both agreed no IVF and at the time we weren't ready to consider adoption. Whatever questions you may have feel free to ask. I'm sure someone will know the answers or if you just need to vent, share, chat we are all here for that as well. I'm so sorry your here but happy you found us and I hope that everyone here is able to bring you as much comfort and strength as they have me. Please keep us posted!!

Mel: thanks for all the info! Fortunately, dh is taking this really well. He's very open to anything. He basically said "I want a baby, I don't care how it happens." we have to go for a second sa the first week of July. I wonder if they'll do the blood work then. Monday, I'll put in a call to a local male fertility doctor. I think I'll save my free consult with Dr. Turek until after we get blood work done. In dh's case i think it might have a lot to do with his weight. We've already been working together to lose weight, but i don't know if that would cause him to have absolutely no sperm or if it's that in combination with other factors. I really appreciate all your help!

Welcome to our little group. I think whether or not vitamins will work depends on the reason for the no sperm. If it is weight related, I put my dh on fertilaid. I actually bought a microscope to keep track of my dh sperm. When I first bought it, I had to look very long and hard to find any and after being on it for several months, I find sperm everywhere. We still haven't conceived but we still hope soon it may happen.
