bama, :( I don't blame you for not wanting to go to the reveal party, either! It's so frustrating to see people just succeed with zero problems (even though they complain that they think they have problems) when you are doing EVERYTHING you can and it's just not happening. I get it completely. And it's okay to feel the way you do. I think all of us women who have trouble TTC feel the same way sometimes. Also, I want to slap your MIL in the face! She's the real 13itch here. And it's possible that you aren't out this month. I saw a peer reviewed study (because they are the only things I trust) that showed the average day for first home positive pregnancy test was 13.4 DPO. It's so hard to see the tests on this site that are positives at like 8 and 9 DPO. I don't usually trust the DPOs when they are that early! And please rant anytime. That's why we're here :)

mandy and others asking about digi OPK lines- I use the clearblue ovulation predictor kit with the smiley face every month. And I do see the test line gets darker when I have a smiley face. I did notice with those, too, that my lines were super, super faint until BAM it was dark and I had a smiley face. It kind of sneaks up on me. Here are pictures of the lines on my last two pos. OPKs. The test lines are on the left.


These were dark lines, but I have had smiley faces with a test line that is lighter than the control before. I know you want to watch the lines, but really do just trust the smiley!

How is everyone doing today?

I still haven't tested yet. Gonna wait until Tues unless I can't hold off I will test tmrw. I'm 10 DPO today (3/24) but when I put in my info for my ticker it comes up as 9 DPO?? Hmmm.

Mandy, I know what you mean! All of my friends know, and all of my family knows we are trying! We actually made an announcement on facebook that we were trying and having to see specialists (about 1 year ago) just to shut people up! LOL! Only a select few know about our m/c and aside from my DH you ladies will be the first to know when I get my next BFP! LOL! We aren't even telling my parents or my son until we hear a good solid heartbeat!

@Christ, If/When we get our you ladies will be the FIRST and only to know other than my husband! After two miscarriages I have decided that I will not tell anyone until I am in the clear. His sister, well one of his sisters was so insensitive last time. We tried explaining to her that I was pregnant but he couldn't find a fetal pole and she just bluntly said "So you aren't pregnant! Either you are or you aren't" I was soooooooooo pissed off, my husband pretty much put her in her place but still.. It was hard to explain to everyone over and over so it will be out little secret for awhile :-)

Mandy, OMG what a WITCH! I would have probably went off... I have a hard time biting my tongue in situations like that. Just ask my DH's mom (well step-mom but she raised him)! LOL! I am so sorry you had to go through that! Yeah, after we hear a heartbeat we will tell my parents and my son but aside from that just you ladies! Then after the first trimester we will start telling people! Praying for you dear friend!

Yea I am a very very outspoken person and NEVER keep my mouth shut if you piss me off but I was sooooo devastated by her reaction. Her and I have never really been "besties" lol. Thank goodness she was on the phone with him and said it to him and not me!

mandy, im one of the people that talks about ttc with friends on fb. me and many of my friends there got married at very close dates togheter and we're all trying. its a great idea to put names to faces.
