Audnaz - I sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Keep your chin up girl! I just know you're going to get that BFP before you know it.

Pink - I am sorry you are feeling down... I don't mean to sound like I understand exactly what you're going through, but I was feeling a little down today as well and just keep thinking about all the positive vibes you ladies are always sending out...so it made me feel better to check in and see what you are all up to. I it so nice to have a place to go for support and positive outlooks! Keep on keeping on. Its not over till you say it is over!!

39 - I was looking into acupuncture. There is a fertility specialist in my area. Maybe if I don't get my BFP this time around i will make an appointment. I am glad to hear that someone had positive outcomes because of it!

pinkster, not sure i will make it till 9th ;D might cave in earlier or get my af or whatever... with my cycles everything could happen, I just hope I won't get another 47day one.

Pink I can imagine how you feel. We all want this so much that it's ok to get a emotional and let it all out. We're all here for you I'm sure by the time you read this it'll be a new day and a new perspective. I keep thinking of what happy's friend said "you're a day closer to having a baby" and you're not out for this cycle there is always hope.

Audnaz, sorry to hear you have pcos. There is a ton of videos on youtube of how women got pregnant with pcos. It's extremely common now days. I understand your worries but at least now you know and you can work on it instead of just letting time pass by.

MrsD I have clomid sitting on my dining table looking at me lol I really don't know what to do with it! I still have a few days to think about it

AFM- I have some company tonight - sitting here with a visitor sipping on some cabernet sauvignon. I have no tears left in me to even cry about it. I haven't cried since 8DPO (today is 14dpo/cd1). I can't even make it to a descent testing day to cry over a bfn, I have break downs in the middle of my lp. Fun fun fun. I always thought I'd have at least 2 kids. Now I just wish I could have 1 healthy baby for us to start our family. DH and I are a really great couple but we both feel like "something's" missing. When our friends come over with kids we can sense they sort of look at us a little strange like we don't want kids. It does't bother me but it just adds to the remorse. Ok.... enough about that, I'm starting to feel like the wine is talking.

Evening ladies (CD10/CD11)

Found an informative web site on ttc and using progesterone cream:

It explains about spotting and how to extend your luteal phase. It also mentioned that a progesterone surge is needed to get a lh surge, which I didn't know about. Also if your progesterone doesn't rise straight after ovulation (which some of you ladies know I put down to lazy eggs) then conception will not happen. I now know that I can use progesterone cream just before ovulation and that I was not using enough. It can get a bit technical but I found it really useful, let me know what you all think.

Pink. Superdrug sell a set of two tests for just over £4, they are really sensitive and have a really good rep for NO evaps. I keep some spare to test any lines I see with the cheap tests. Sorry ladies, it's a UK brand. I keep thinking your going to get a positive soon

Jandei. It's worth having a look at your temps straight after ovulation, maybe using the cream earlier might work for you too? I'm so sorry ad showed, wish we could banish her I have no doubt you will be a mummy and who knows you could have multiples , Wouldn't that be great xx

Audnaz I am sending prayers up for you dear. I have read so many success stories of women with pcos. Stay encouraged! Acupuncture helps pcos. Anything I learn in this new book that will help, I will certainly share.

Pink just think about Halle Berry and her surprise pregnancy at 46. She actually thought she was going through menopause. There is still so much hope for you. Just keep believing honey!

Kerzie that you for the admiration. My desire to have a child is no less but I want a healthy body no matter what. My husband does not have any children so the pressure is definitely on. I am very hopeful that we will get pregnant once we have moved into our own space and life is more peaceful.

Well done ladies your lovely comments and support have made me all tearful again, DH is laughing cos he thinks its cool and Im carrying his baby, I didnt test today and feel better for it, that stark white when there should be a hint of a shadow at least was shocking so gonna leave it for a couple of days at least but will let you know
Thank you Lunar, you are right of course, if anyone knows how emotional this is its you ladies, I want to tell my friends how amazing this site is but I actually can't tell anyone just DH, but I do now class you as my friends, you know more about me at mo then anyone lol

Kerzie that link was brill about the progesterone, bits of it went over my head but Ive learned alot, when I saw that I thought Ill stop doing the cream but so glad I didnt now, will continue to apply until AF shows now doh , oh got the set of s/drug tests thank you and cheap, won't use them though til mon prob

Audnaz there have been quite a few ladies on here on other forums that have had the same issue and it was easily sorted then got their you can do it

Oh just a quick question, Ive noticed my cervix is high and very soft, does that mean Im gonna come on? Usually its low and stiff, I did find a site 3 months ago telling me all about it but cant find it now, thanks

About the cervix, mine goes up few days before AF and then drops down. I red that it goes back up when you're pregnant.

Cd7, clomid day 3. Feeling fine and a bit more positive after getting over the first iui failure, now it's just one more step in the journey.

Audnaz - Pcos is not the end of anything for you...it just gives you a name. And when something has a name, you can beat it. A close friend struggled with Pcos (in college it meant she had painful periods, big cysts and irregular cycles). She was diagnosed in our mid 20s and managed all the symptoms with metformin. When she met and married her husband the didn't try for kids right away, so when they did she was in her early 30s and they struggled. When she went to a RE after trying on her own for 3+ years, they started her on clomid with her metformin and in 3 cycles she was pregnant and now has a perfect 2 year old son.

Pink - it's still early so don't give up! I never had any bad breast symptoms with clomid so hopefully that's a pregnancy symptom.

MrsD - how are you feeling by now?

Pink. The cervix is usually hard before a period, it lowers and opens slightly. When you are pregnant it is high, soft and closed. Good luck at trying to resist, lol

39. When are you due to move in to your own place? How exciting, hope your home has the pitter patter of tiny feet soon xx

Happy. Are your ovaries feeling like watermelons yet? I've heard you can actually feel them through your skin if you press gently. Do you get a trigger shot next or is it natural? I don't know much about these procedures. I hope this is your cycle
