The flu last night - achy, hot, very tired. Took supplies to a friend the day before with flu and hoped I didn't get to close...then hoped it was pregnancy symptoms instead.

Have lots going on in the next few days and will try to wait
Til Saturday to test (14dpo).

Where do you purchase red ginseng from? All the benefits sound good to me and would like to get some for DH from a reputable source!

Not sure where to get it, depending on where you live. Maybe if you can find a Chinese herbal shop or something similar. I'm in Chicago and we have a pretty big China town so that's where I got mine. Lady told my KGC brand only!!! AKA CKJ (Cheong-Kwan-Jang Korean Ginseng) She also said the Korean Red Ginseng EXTRACT tea is best. First time I just got the regular tea because they were out of the extract and worked just as effectively. Here in the US they have a website kgcus.com they also have a Canadian one. Sorry couldn't be more helpful. Just really depends on where you live. Amazon has it too but not sure if I would get it from there.

Also some good/scary news for the group. So since my miscarriage two years ago, I have had some issues. My periods are usually regular 28-30 days, however they vary greatly by flow and how long I bleed. Also in the past year I started growing a "happy trail" and some hairs on my chin. When I was 14 I had some cysts on my ovaries ( I found out from an ultrasound former visit for abdomen pain) haven't had that since except for painful periods. In the last year I have gained 30 pounds. So I talked to my doctor about me TTC and my concerns and she referred me to get an ultrasound! I call tomorrow to get an apt. I'm obviously scared about a possible issue PCos diagnosis but so happy my Dr. listened to my concerns and didn't just tell me the standard "try for a year".

Thats good Audnaz, at least you will know if there are any probs early on rather then later and can be dealt with quickly if there are, I hope it goes well, let us know,

Audnaz, that's great your obgyn didn't turn you down like most would. Completely understand the concern but it's best to know. You can't focus on correcting something you don't know about. Did you test today? Still no signs of af?

I've been asking my obgyn for a simple progesterone test for months and she just keeps refusing. I decided to take it into my own hands today and found a lab that does tests on demand without doctor's prescription. I am going on Friday and will get results Tuesday or later.

Mrs. D THANK YOU for sharing your testimony of God's blessing! I needed that after seeing the fertility specialist and hearing all that over 40 mumbo jumbo. I know that it is all in God's timing. The doctor wants to put me on Femara and di an IUI but after reading about it I don't want to take it.
So I asked if he will do the IUI without medication and he said yes.
I am praying that God blesses us with a healthy pregnancy without the IUI.

Kerzie the cruise was just okay. I say don't cruise in the winter. It rained was very windy and not much sun except for the last day. I am a picky eater so the food wasn't great for me. It was nice to get away with dh and have some alone time.

CD 6 and AF just ended so let the bd'ing party begin!

Hi Ladies, I've been away for a bit, trying to get through the trauma of moving! Nightmare. I'm 10dpo having ov'd 2 days earlier than normal so hoping for an early BFP! Pinkster, it is bloody cold here in England, going to drop again tonight!!!

Negative hpt with fmu. Cycle day 36. I guess the good news is I get my ultrasound today.

Had to draw blood from a pregnant 16 year old today who claims to have only had sex once with a condom (don't know if I believe her but guess it's not my job)

Hiya Audnaz, yes life does seem very unfair at times, but I have accepted that and any positives that happen I appreciate very much, one of the ladies had to take her young niece to the abortion clinic recently, with her niece not realising her aunt had been desperately trying for a little baby for many years . I read only yesterday of a lady that had just joined after finding out she has fallen pregnant a few days before and not really trying, not really wanting the pregnancy and not happy at all, everyones circumstance are different and I dont judge them but it is tough sometimes to be positive, I would love this pregnancy more then anything and at times it hurts especially when I dream of one like last night, I get all excited and cant help imagine and then that bloody shows and I/we struggle to carry on at times, we have to take stock and appreciate what we have got, sorry if tmi but very emotional at mo lol, if you take blood Audnaz you must be a Phlebotomist like my mum, she tells people shes a vampire for a living
