I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy books as well , right now i'm reading the chronicles of Shanara , which is taking a little bit of time, but i'm getting through them lol. I like Cassandra Clare and Sherilyn Kenyon, to name a couple, used to be a big Nora Roberts fan but all of her books got to be fairly predictable and I lost interest. I really enjoy it when Authors have a series where they write about different characters within the same world, especially if they interact with Characters from a previous book in the series, it's sort of like finding out what happens after a really good book is over i'm super big on the fantasy genre for sure, and I tend to lean more towards books for adults, but I also dip my toes in the YA Fantasy genre too, there's this series called ' The Others' and I just finished the book Marked in Flesh a few days ago, and it was a little odd but I enjoyed it, to kind of give a synopsis, There's this group called the indegne and they control where humans can live and what happens in their cities and whatno t, so that they can keep humans from destroying the earth basically, and there's this group called the Humans First and Last movement who are trying to overthrow them because they want access to more land, and it's interesting how everything turns out, there's this group of girls who are Blood Prophets and can see 'future' possibilities, and the main character is one, and she kinda forewarns people of impending disasters and whatnot. I probably didn't make it sound very interesting but it may be worth checking out Also really recommend the Immortals after Dark Series and the Dark Hunter series if you're into paranormal romance. Can't go wrong with them

Hi Kerzie i love to read as well. Im into horror but havent read one in years. All i really is about medicine, natural healing and latest research.. Natural consultant involves giving advice about natural medicine. Kind of like a nutritionist but more in depth. Like i have to learn all about homeopathic, ayurveda, Chinese medicine etc...... Its soooooo much reading i might as well be a doctor;)... I love it though is my passion to help people get healthy in the natural way.

Yes I meant Mom is next to test.

Hey Calvingirl glad to have you as my tww buddy. AF due in a week so hopefully I can wait it out.

Miracle I see we share the passion for health and wellness. It's the one thing I can sit and talk about forever. I was in grad school to be a nutritionist but the online learning wasn't for me. I would love to be a naturopathic doctor but there are no schools in my area. I have experienced the healing of kinesiology so that's an option as well. Who are you taking your classes through?

Kerzie I read about natural and alternative medicine. I use to read Dean Koontz books. I like romance novels. As far as holding out during the tww, sometimes I do well and sometimes I start testing at 6dpo. It just depends on my emotions.

Cramps today and strong sex drive which usually dwindles after I O. Also had a chlorine smell in my nose all day. My motherinlaw dreamed of fish which is suppose to signify pregnancy.

Calvin. Well done you, I think going through Labour with someone would scare me into never having sex again Might be your thermometer that's wonky or maybe your a slow riser this month? Are you still doing opk' s just in case? I hate not knowing if I o or not, Your temps jump up soon.
My dh doesn't get how I can get lost in a book, sometimes I fall asleep reading and wake up realising that I've continued reading in my sleep and its not making sense any more.

Pumpkin. Love Terry Brooks, read nearly all his stuff and getting the defenders series for part of my Christmas, some books I have to have in hard copy. Will look into the others you recommended, thanks. YA books can be fun to read as they tend to be easy going, great to pick up and put down at a moment's notice when life is busy. Which book are you reading in the series?

Miracle. When you have a passion for something it makes it so much easier to study. Plus your able to take control of your own body now, what a bonus

39. I can imagine you as a naturopathic doctor, you are halfway there with all your knowledge. Think you'd be great at it. I also read a lot of Dean koontz, I found he wasn't as long winded as Stephen King. Chlorine smell is certainly a strange one, bet your glad it's not a fishy smell to go along with your mil's dream. Your poor dh must be worn out, mine is always glad to get a few days rest after o, it's all sounding different and promising.

Afm. Hardly slept the last two nights so not been able to confirm ovulation. Hoping it was because ds started back at school today (he's a big boy in primary two now :) ) and desperate for a good night tonight.

Hello all.

Kerzie thank you for those kind words. My dh is still ready for action. Met him at the door yesterday wearing a sheer gown. He was so excited! The benefits of no longer having kids in the house.

Pink

Mom when are you testing? We want to live vicariously through you.

Cd 18/6 dpo I think. Temp dropped this morning to 97.66. No weird smells today. Just tired. Bright yellow cm. DH dreamed I was pregnant with a girl. I've been thinking lately that we should stop trying for awhile because it's not the best time financially. Knowing me, this is exactly when it will happen. It's all in God's control so I will roll with it either way.

Have a terrific Tuesday!

hi ladies, checking in. Cd 9 with no positive outlook on the baby making future. I'm due to ovulate sometime this weekend and DH has informed me he is going out of town with the guys to set up the deer camp...hmmmm really!! I'm not saying another word about trying to have a baby, after all it was his idea but I can't make it alone and he makes no attempts at sex other than ovulation. So I'm over it. He can do whatever he wants. I decided to take care of myself, so started back with my work outs and spent a small fortune on healthy food. It's a shame that being fat is cheaper. I'll check in from time to time and hope to see some bfp from you guys. Good luck to all.

Hey all,

How's everyone doing? I'm getting back into the swing of school...well I'm not in school my 11y/o. He struggles with focusing and homework is a blast (insert sarcasm here)! I'm also looking for a new job.

Calvin- how exciting! I've never witness a live birth. I would love to. I'm hoping when my sister has children she'll include me. I've only been a part of my own c-sections. I've never even experienced labor. And im ok with that. I had preclampsia with my first and was given the option with the second.

39- The plan was to test on 8/29 which is the day after AF is due. But as the days move slowly along, I'm now thinking Saturday 8/27. Argh...the anticipation! I've had that similar discussion with myself about waiting. I would like a better job but if I wait I may not have another baby. I would also like to work on my master's I've even thought about selling my baked goods... I want it all. Time is not on my side...I have put it in God's hands.

Chicks- I'm sorry DH is not cooperating even though he probably doesn't realize it. It's hard. I don't think they know how emotionally taxing this is for us. Mine does and says similar things on occasion. He'll decide without any discussion that he wants to pull a double shift and then be too tired to bd. Then we'll be out and see a baby and he'll turn to me and say: "I can't wait to have another one" Really man! How do you suppose that will happen? I know it's been a while since high school health class...but you still remember how all of this works right?!?!

Welp! I'm 9dpo today temp is still high (98.54). I had some cramping. Not painful, just noticeable. I usually don't get cramps until day of AF. Things that make you go hmmmmmm...

Good morning lovelies!

Awwww.....Chicks! I agree with Mom, he probably doesn't realize what he is doing. But working on you is always a good thing. Being the healthiest you will benefit you during the pregnancy. I hate that eating healthy cost so much. It should be the other way around.

Mom you sound like me. Your temp is good so this may be your month. What part of the country are you in and what's your age?

7dpo I think....temp dropped again to 97.50 so I think I may be out. When I use to temp it usually didn't drop this low until a few days from af.

Kerzie have you O'd?

Hey ladies, 5 dpo here today, and feeling pretty rough. Actually more like absolutely miserable, believe I have a sinus infection, also been having increased CM, right now i'm reading The Elf stones part of the series the Chronicles of Shannara, and i'm a huge Dean Koontz fan. I've got another book in the Shannara series , but I haven't started it yet, this one is taking a good bit, lots of detail, and the more I read, the more I find it's not like the MTV show at all hardly, which is what got me to check out the books I absolutely love the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz , read every single one of them, very very good. I've read a few Stephen King books in my time, but they're pretty long winded too, and I i'm not a huge fan of his writing anyways, and his movies are terrible.

Good Morning!

I'm feeling somewhat energetic. I got up and worked out. I have a wedding to attend next month so I'm working on dropping a few pounds. That way my Spanx won't have to work so hard. Ha! Nothing hardcore. I walk an hour and use weights and/or do body weight exercises. I read an article that popped up on My Fitness Pal...I believe, that said one needs 250 minutes of cardio per week (or 50 mins 5x a week) for weight loss. I'm sort of starting over, I'm bad at setting aside time for myself. My 3yr old is very bossy and runs my life

39 - I'm 41, 42 in January. I'm in the Midwest.....Chicagoland area. Are you in the South?

I hope it's my month I just don't know anymore. I have no feeling either way. Just here waiting fake patiently. My body use to be like clockwork but now I'm experiencing different symptoms, pains, and cycle changes. This cycle and last I ovulated 2 days later than planned. Which I why I started back temping. I was trying to be relaxed about it but it was killing me not knowing when O happened. I can't help but wonder how many other months that happened. Certainly not dwelling on it....just curious.

Pumpkin - I hope you get some relief soon. Sinus issues are torture
