Got my 3+ this morning on CB! The 3+ doesn't come up unless hcg is like 2600 or higher which is right on track if my levels are doubling at least every 48 hours from 429 last Wednesday. Decided that was enough reassurance for me that I don't need to rush out and get my beta done as soon as the lab opens. I am just going to go after work today instead.

Mnor - So sorry I have been MIA lately! Lots going on in preparation for our little one coming. I just read your last post! That is so exciting!! And sounds so positive!! Can't wait for your betas to come back and this time I am SO hoping you have a sticky one on board!!! :)

Some quick news on me... our anatomy scan last week showed that our little guy has enlarged or dilated kidney's :( They say it can be common and nothing to worry about to much, but they have referred me to perinatal specialist for a better look tomorrow. Supposedly this can be a side effect of ICSI and they have no idea why. Just hoping things improve as they say most of the time it does!! I'm 21.3 weeks and growing fast! :)

Waitinggame - Great to hear from you! I hope that the enlarged kidneys issue turns out to be nothing. I feel like with all the improved technology and extra ultrasounds sometimes we worry for nothing. Several years ago the technology didn't exist and women just didn't know therefore they didn't worry about things like that.

Gracealone - Great to hear from you too! When is your due date?

My 3rd beta came back from yesterday afternoon at 3360. That's still a doubling time of 40 hours! Slowing down a smidge but still faster than average. They wanted me to do a 4th beta this Thursday and a viability scan during week 7. I told them I would rather not do another beta as they make me pretty anxious and schedule an earlier ultrasound. I would rather just kind of settle into this pregnancy and not worry about betas. She said that my numbers were rising just fine and asked if I had any spotting or anything which I haven't. So in the end she agreed to let me come in at the end of week 6 for a scan! Next Friday will be my first scan at 6w4d! Please let me get that far this time!

Waitinggame - It's good to hear from you!! So glad to hear that everything is going well overall. I'm sure it is just precautionary them sending you to a specialist and that's great they arent just simply dismissing it. But i'm sure it will probably be fine just like they said. Let us know what the specialist says though once you meet with him!!

Mnor - All of this is just so exciting!!! I'm so happy for you. And I agree about the betas...they sound stressful doing them all the time. SOOOOO hoping for that sticky little one on that 6 week scan!! Have you set up a day and time for the appointment yet? :)

As for me, I am 30 weeks and 3 days today. :) Feeling pretty exhausted. I don't sleep much anymore...mainly due to major lower back pain (had a back injury 2 years ago that never grew back right and with pregnancy it is 10x worse) and getting up to pee like 5x per night. lol. But honestly outside of that I have had such a wonderful and joy-filled pregnancy. I am so thankful for this healthy little one inside of me everyday and cannot wait to meet her in less than 10 weeks!! :)

That is such great news MNOR!! I am so happy for you and can not wait to hear how the scan goes.

So, update on me. I broke out in a pimply rash all over my chest when I woke up yesterday morning. It didn't itch or anything so I called the nurse and she said she wanted to ask the doctor about it but she'd call me back today. She was thinking it was from the PIO. So, I woke up this morning and it had spread to my neck and the lower part of my abdomen/hips and was now itching. I called her again and she said that the Dr. was originally thinking it was residual doxycycline in my system and and that I had reacted to the sun since i was out doing yardwork saturday. But since it had worsened, it is the PIO and they are going to switch me to the Crinone. I'm a little down because this is the first time in two years that I haven't spotted in my two week wait. She assured me that Crinone was just as good, they just can't measure levels.

I also don't "feel" pregnant and it is playing games with me. My boobs are still sore, and look veiny, but I don't have any cramps anymore.... Just an occasional sharp twinge. Just feeling down overall....

So I just got my second beta back and it's only 145. The re said it raises red flags since it didn't double like it was supposed to. I have to go back and retest on Thursday morning. This feels awful. Just really want this baby :(

I feel like symptoms have been coming and going for me. Kind of waiting for them to stick around so that I can feel pregnant. I went through a couple days where I felt nothing, completely normal. The insomnia has stuck around every night though. My boobs stopped hurting for awhile but yesterday my hubby gave them an affectionate squeeze and I was like oh ow! And nausea is definitely back to the point where I get like halfway up to run to the bathroom because I think I can't hold it back but then it passes.

Some people are allergic to the sesame oil from the pio. Are you doing 1 crinone daily or 2? When I did 1 8% crinone I spotted before test day during my iui's I think. When I upped to 2 a day I didn't spot at all. Now I am doing pio in the am and 1 crinone pm and that seems to be working great for me. Some people just need more and the trial and error sucks.

I am having a med dilemma myself. The IM delestrogen I am on is on backorder. I guess there is a nationwide shortage! I have tried estrace and vivelle dots but my body just didn't repond to those as well. I have enough to get to like mid november but the pharmacy isn't expecting any til end of november. I called around today to pretty much every fertility pharmacy and finally found 1 whoo has 6 vials left so I have to get my RE to send over a prescription first thing tomorrow! I am afraid that if I try to switch to a different version it could jeopardize this pregnancy! Everything just seems in perfect balance right now and I don't want it screwed up!

We must have been typing at the same time awhittaker! Sorry to hear it didn't double! I am hoping it's just a slow starter. It's not over til it starts decreasing!

Awhittaker- I'm hoping this is just a slow riser. I'm in a PGD fertility group on FB and some of those women had low, slowly progressing betas... I'm hopeful this your case! It's not too far from double so my thoughts are with you and I'll be hoping for the best!

MNOR- I will be doing 8% crinone morning and evening. I felt some twinges and cramps tonight, and oh boy have the veins increased. Just like awhittaker said, all the way to the nipple. I'm just an itchy mess and hope symptoms improve tomorrow.... 2 days until beta!
