waiting game - I can't believe you're already 16 wks 3 days!! Crazy. I will agree with you there...1st trimester goes so slow...and the period that you're in towards the beginning of the 2nd trimester is hard sometimes because you are getting a belly and know you're pregnant but can't feel baby movements yet so it can be a little nerve wrecking. I know it was for me! But you'll feel him soon! I think I started feeling baby girl when I was about 18 weeks! Happy for you!! :)

Grace and waiting - congrats on reaching your pregnancy milestones. Super excited to see that both of you are doing great :)

Mnor and jen- I start my stim meds hopefully on Friday with a potential egg retrieval someone between the 9th to 11th. Looking forward to starting this next cycle and looks like we'll all be fairly close.

Mnor- sorry about your friends comments. Pretty insensitive. Whenever someone complains about their kids or soccer schedules, etc. I've been responding that I "look forward to being able to worry about how I'm going to get my kids to soccer, get groceries, etc. " it usually shuts the person up.

Tomorrow is my baseline so hoping all looks good and were good to go!

Good morning everyone! How is everyone doing? I'm currently on day 3 of stims and feeling good so far. I also started acupuncture with a new location this cycle and they were wonderful. There's nothing like an hour and a half of relaxation. Since I've never done a fet, what are your protocols leading up to transfer?

Not too bad here. A little worried about my lining. Af showed up 9 days after I stopped bcp and is still here although it has been really light. I am supposed to be building up my lining not getting rid of it! I have a bw and us appt to check lining on Wednesday so I hope af is gone and it still looks ok. If all is good transfer in 12 days!

This fet is way different for me with the addition of a long antibiotic round, steroids, blood thinners and extra progesterone. My last 2 fets were just estrogen, progesterone and baby aspirin. Hopefully all the changes make the difference. I am beyond beyond beyond ready for a baby. Another of my much younger cousins (this is #3) just announced they are pregnant today. I felt like my heart sank to my toes. It's my turn damn it!

Glad to hear things are coming along for everyone. Mnor - I hope your lining gets there!! You definitely have some time. I agree it's your turn. I SOOOO hope this happens for you this round!

Well, this week has probably been one of the most emotionally and physically draining of my life. Last Monday evening my father in law passed away from a heart attack. He was only 60. I'm carrying what would have been his first grandbaby. There has been SO much excitement and good things finally happening for my husbands family, and now this. My in-laws are about an hour from us and we made it to the hospital just before he passed. I was a wreck, but trying to keep calm for the baby which just made me a crazy, shaky mess. I almost had them check me in that night to check his heart rate, but decided against it because I had a regular appointment already scheduled for the next morning. I had to drive back without my husband to the appointment, but I videoed the whole thing for him. He was going to be an amazing grandad. I'll miss him so much. Everyone at the service last Friday kept saying at least the family has something good to look forward to... which is so true, so we are trying to hold on to that. Anyway, just thought I'd share... back in tears again.

Waiting- I am so sorry to hear about your father in law. Sending you my condolences as I can only imagine how hard of a week you've had. Make sure to keep taking good care of yourself and the baby.

Mnor- hope all is going well for you and your lining is looking good. I always worry about mine as it never gets better than 7 or 8. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

As for me, I've got my first us tomorrow and acupuncture after. Hope to see some good little follicles forming as this will be day 6. I'm also having a wierd period where I've had a very light flow since Saturday. Hope to have good news tomorrow.

Waitinggame - Condolences on the loss of your FIL. I'm sorry that he won't get to meet your little one. I hope your pregnancy is still going well and that the baby's arrival will bring some much needed joy to your family!

Awhittaker - How did your u/s go?

I unfortunately have no good news to add today. My transfer has been delayed which I saw coming due to the very late arrival of AF. Hopefully it will only be a 1 day delay til the 11th but could get pushed til the week after. At my u/s the lining was only measuring about a 6.5mm but was triple layer which is good. Usually I am at 8 or 9 mm by now but I've never had AF show up so late before so maybe it just needs a little more time to build and thicken back up. I go back on Monday for another lining check.

Hi mnor. Thanks for checking in. Sorry to hear about the delay but hopefully that is the right call at this point. I had my first Us at day 6 and go in again tomorrow. My lining is at 3. So that is an issue for me too. Last time I stimmed for 13.5 days so hopefully this will give me time to get ready for transfer. We had 2 measurable follicles on each size and a total of 9. We shall see what tomortow brings. I have two baby showers on Saturday and keeping positive about everything. Hopefully my pregnant friends will rub off on me :)

Hi ladies. I had my Friday us and all was on track. 4 measurable follicles within range on each side (9-13). My lining went up to 5 do hopefully tomorrow it's even better. Now I'm on day 10 of stims and definitely know my estrogen is going up based on my side effects.

Mnor /Jen- how are you both feeling? When is your transfer day? Mnor- I hope your lining got better :)

Doing good here! My e2 level on Wed was in the 800's so definitely sufficient to build a good lining I just think it needed a little more time. I am hopeful that my lining will be more on track tomorrow. I have an u/s bright and early at 7am.

I had to give myself my own delestrogen shot in the tushy this morning. Dh went away for the night to a casino for a bachelor party. I hate giving them to myself but I feel like a bad ass when I am done lol.
