Zuberi: I am SO sorry to hear this news! I don't even know what to say! You are in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Zuberi: I am so sorry. I can't imagine how you are feeling. Do what you feel is best and let us know how the dr appt. goes. Thinking of you and praying!

Sammi: welcome to the forum! I'm impressed that you went the "natural" way. That takes a lot of patience. I did that the first cycle and decided I was too stressed about not knowing for sure lol

Dbjohnson: progesterone is going well so far. I feel like it may be giving me mild headaches. It is kind of controversial since they don't know if it actually makes a difference or not. I am on bioidentical progesterone which means that it won't cause problems for the baby that "imitation" progesterone does. I was a little nervous especially since we don't know if that's the problem but it's not worth taking a chance again. I want a baby now and I don't want to lose another one. My heart just can't take it.

As far as my cycle (s) that I got my BFP, my number one bit of advice is to use the "sperm meets egg" plan. http://www.pregnancyloss.info/sperm_meets_egg_plan.htm This is basically sex every other night from cd 8 until you get a positive opk and then you have sex that day and two consecutive days. I really think this works. As far as anything else goes, I just tried to stay laying down for awhile after BDing (don't know if it helps but it can't hurt).

AFM: I have a dr. apt next Thurs. until then I am hoping and praying everytime I go to the bathroom that I don't see red. I'm still pretty worried. However, I poas the last few days to see progression which there was! But this morning I forgot so I feel like I'm getting less worried as time goes on but I still can't wait to see that tiny heartbeat in a few weeks!

Hey everyone,
A little update from me. We had some bad news this morning. I have been feeling really unwell and tested positive for cmv. I didn't even know what cmv was first time around. I have to see a specialist to see what they say but if I'm honest We have already made some big decisions. Anyone had any experience of this? Hope everyone else is ok

Happy 4th of July! (for those of you in the US)

Zuberi: I think about you all the time! I kind of know what you are going though, and it isn't fun. You are a strong woman, and God has a plan for you. I am hoping for the best for you!

Tania: I have never heard of cmv, what is it? I hope you start feeling better soon.

Amanda: thanks for the info of "the sperm meets the egg". We do something similar, but sometimes we miss a day... I am glad you are worrying less and less with each day!

AFM: CD 7... So nothing exciting here.

Hello!

I'm also new here and I would like to join this forum. DH and I are TTC #2 since March 2013. We were very fortunate to conceive very quickly with DS and now I'm struggling a bit since this is taking some more involvement. The last time, we basically just stopped trying to prevent pregnancy. We conceived 4 years ago, and I thought I was ok to wait because I'm not yet 30. Guess not!

I'm pretty new to this whole thing and I'm looking for some support/advice!

Like Sammi, I've read through many of your entries and the ladies on this forum seem very kind and welcoming and I wish the best for all!

Good morning ladies.

Dbjohnson: Thank you so much. This is definitely a rollercoster ride. But I know God is in control so I am ok with whatever is going to happen.

Amanda: when is your first appointment? I am so excited for you. Stick baby stick!

Tanz: how is it going? Are you feeling any better? I hope so.

Sammi & Jess: we are glad you joined us. Just a warning.......the ladies on here conceive rather quickly. Lol so get ready.

Afm: my last scan showed a small sac and my numbers matched the size of the sac. So....we are still in a wait and see. I have to have my blood drawn once a week and I have another scan scheduled for 7/19th. Then we will see what our course of action will be.

Hope you guys had a great 4th.

Hi Everyone,
things are not too good here, cmv is normally a harmless virus but can cause really serious problems if you get it in pregnancy, we have had a pretty awful week. We have had some really difficult decisions to make and to be honest I just want it all over with now, as it's been so hard. I didn't even know cmv existed, but have now read al about it and it's not pleasant. Because I was so sick with it there is a really good chance that it has been passed on.
Anyway just a quick update as my head's a bit all over the place.
Hope everyone else is well.
Tania
