Hey there!

Momma_c: it's VERY hard to watch someone else be pregnant when you want it so bad. It'd be like watching someone eat a bowl of ice cream when you've been craving it for months and the grocery store was sold out.. sorry all my analogies come back to food haha As I've mentioned before, my sister in law is pregnant and although I want to be excited for her I can't help but be envious and a little angry b/c she got pregnant (when she wasn't even supposed to be trying.. she just got engaged to a man she barely knew) RIGHT after I was talking about DH and I starting to try soon. Anyways.. it's very difficult especially since I've had these chemical pregnancies this go-around and for you having been trying since January. My mom has passed away and she is who I would normally vent to about all of it so I can talk to my mother in law or DH but I'm complaining about her daughter or his sister and I'm not about to jump off that bridge. So luckily I have a best friend (but she's yet find a husband much less TTC) so basically I vent to you all lol But it will happen for us. We have to have patience and appreciation for the process!

Zuberi: My DH thinks he's a one-hit wonder as well (I think men just get full of themselves). I really hope you can convince him the BD more often this cycle. Make him commit beforehand would be my advice. That's what I do with my DH... I just tell him early in the day and make him stick to it.. even if there's nothing in it for me .. well beside a baby

SandraK: I would say that your hunches are right. You know more about your own body than anyone else. If nothing else it sounds like your luteal phase is short which could cause a lack of progesterone. I'd ask your doctor about B6 which is natural (so he shouldn't mind you taking it) and really he shouldn't mind too much putting you on progesterone either if that's what you want. I'm hoping my doc will put me on estrogen and progesterone. Doctors don't get it.. we get sick of messing around and more time going by. Not only that but if you had to have progesterone before why wouldn't they just go ahead and do that for you this time to make sure you don't miscarry. I understand they don't want to do anything to serious for a problem that might not need that serious of treatment however, they are not the ones worried or consumed by all this stuff all the time. I hope your doc can help you.

AFM: Tomorrow is the day. I am getting up extra early in the morning. I am NOT going to be running late this time. I want to get down there with time to spare. I have a whole page of dates that everything happened, sign/symptoms, possible causes, possible testing that needs to be done and what treatment options are available. He knows I'm crazy.. he always gives me a hard time about knowing too much.. I guess that's why we get along so well haha. So I've basically done all the work for the doctor now it's just up to him to decide what he thinks is wrong and to prescribe tests and treatments. I'm up for anything but I REALLY think it's uterine lining since I've already had problems with that. I'm just worried he'll make me wait another cycle so next cycle can be used for testing since they all have to be done on certian days... ugh. Anyways.. he's to positivity!

Sorry for the super long post.. they seem to be longer since I haven't been online so much lately. Hope everyone is having a good week so far! p.s. after a week of no internet at my house it's BACK! so instead of having to wait to tell you all till friday I'll let you all know tomorrow what he says!

Hello

@Momma: it is SO hard when someone is pregnant around you while you are TTC! I totally feel your pain. I try to remind myself that it will happen when it is supposed to, it's hard to be patient.

@Zuberi: I wish I had your problem! I have the opposite. My husband is crawling all over me, most of the time. If I told him we had to BD 6 times in one day in order to make a baby, he would be thrilled. Husbands are crazy.

@Sandra: my OB/GYN said anything above 10 was normal for DPO 7, and he is the head of obstetrics. It would annoy me if a secretary was trying to tell me my business. I'm glad you are going to see a specialist. I know there are progesterone creams you can buy over the counter that are supposed to help.

@Amanda: isn't it funny how internet changes our day-to-day activities? I'm excited for you to have your appt tomorrow! I hope you and your doc come up with a great strategy!

AFM: cd 4, nothing too exciting. My cold is finally starting to go away. Oh, I forgot to update you you all about my kitty... After over a thousand dollars worth of tests, they can't find anything wrong with him. At least that is good news, they couldn't find any cancer. They are putting him on a low dose of steroid, and he seems back to his old self. He's eating and starting to be more active. It is super weird, but I'll take it.

Hi! I also just joined today. I also have a three-year-old and had the mirena taken out in November. We've been trying ever since then so it's been about five months and I'm starting to think it will never happen for us. :( I'm 22 and married and I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with me. And advise would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome 1more! Sounds like we have a lot in common. What kind of aids are you using for ttc? We are happy to share your ttc journey!

So ladies.. I made it to the dr. this week! haha

First off let me begin by telling you that he wasn't concerned in the least bit. Which at first I thought would bother me but he explained exactly why he wasn't worried and it was actually very reassuring. So basically he thinks my first m/c was just something that happens and that the only reason the second one happened is because my uterine lining didn't have time to build back up in order to support another pregnancy. He said that he didn't feel like any tests are necessary unless I really wanted them but that he didn't really feel at this point it was worth the time and money. Sooo... he said to wait until I have a (normal) period. He said if this one is wacky then to wait another month but if not I'd be fine to try again although he said if I wanted to be on the safe side to wait three months which I then informed him I was just not willing to do (which he figured that anyways). So he then said to make sure to let him know as soon as I get pregnant the next time (I'm supposed to text him if he's not in the clinic) so he can prescribe me progesterone asap. He said that he's not sure if that has anything to do with it but that it won't hurt so we'd be on the safe and preventitive side of things. Oh also I asked about B6 and baby aspirin. He said that my prenatal should have plenty of B6 and that he wouldn't suggest baby aspirin in my case because I have no indications of needing it and it has it's risks too. So there we have it.. the answers to everything I have been wondering for week... whew! feels like a weight off!
Now just to wait for the old witch and hope that everything gets back to normal.

Hope everyone is having a good day! It's warmer here and the weekend is supposed to be nice!

HI LADIES! I'm so sorry I've been MIA. We sold a car and of course that doesnt go completely perfect and looked into several to buy and it might just be harder then childbirth! LOL

Amanda- I read your post a few days ago and I'm so excited that it's not an issue and you are about to keep joining us in TTC :)

Z- that's exactly how I feel! DH actually was talking about my on the forum and said how much he noticed you guys have been helping me. Everytime I would get a negative I would be SOOO upset and depressed about it but having you guys, has been so great for me and I'm fully convinced is going to help me conceive faster because I'm not even stressed at all about it!

DB- how is your kitty? I can't imagine spending that much and having no answers completely as too what happened? You feeling any better?? I had a sore throat last weekend to...

Sandra- How are you doing??

Want1more- Welcome! I'm 23 and trying for my 2nd since January. These ladies have been so great and I really consider them friends...

AFM- my period SERIOUSLY KICKED MY BUTT this week. I've never been so exhausted from it. & after I got that little "procedure" last week I wasn't allowed to use tampons for a week (which may be helpful this month in TTC cause I know they say not to use them) BUT I HATE pads...and I was just not a happy camper this week. But it's finally gone and I O sometime next week. DH, babygirl, and my family are going to ohio for a waterpark and then this weekend we are going to NY for his cousins wedding. Thank goodness I O when we are there instead of being in ohio...we wouldnt be able to really bed there...I'm pretty excited for it cause we will be away and it will be a lot of fun!

Anyone have anything I should try? Just getting preseed and bedding day before day of and day after O this month instead of 2 days before and a day after...thats what we did with DD and it seemed to work.

Happy Sunday!

Hey you guys,

Happy Sunday.

This weekend passed very quickly. It seem like it was just Friday and now its about to be Monday again.

Momma: I know what you mean about not being able to when you have company or not in your own space. I think trying preseed is a good idea. I tried it for the first time last cycle but we were only able to use it one time two days before I O because my DH had to go out of town and we didn't get a chance to again close to my O.

DBJohnson: How are you? Our O day is coming up! are you ready? DH is out of town this weekend. But he asked me before he left when was I scheduled to O this cycle and I gave him my fertile dates ( at least I guessed at them) but Ive been pretty accurate these last 4 months or so. I just started using the face test because trying to judge the lines was getting confusing to me . Hope your cat is still improving...

Amanda: How are you?

Want1more: What are you up to and where are you in your TTC journey?

AFM: I am just waiting to O. I feel really good about this cycle. Like all of us ,....I want this to be the cycle that I get my however, if I don't I'm not going to stress about it. I will just keep trying. With that being said...... this feel like the first month that I have really relaxed.

The Asst. Pastor of my church and his wife is expecting their 2nd baby. ( this first one is about 10 or 11 months and she is about 3 months pregg now) I can truly say that I am happy for her. I have a peace inside that is letting me know that my turn is coming.....and I really and truly believe that.

Well, Ladies I hope your weekend was great and that this week coming up will be even greater!.
I'm waiting in anticipation of seeing some from you guys (self included)

Hey ladies!

My in-laws fly in today, so I've been crazy busy the last few days to get ready for their arrival. This is there second time visiting in the past two months. Normally the only come twice a year...they are good people, but they are a little crazy and kind of bad houseguests, they are kind of demanding. Plus, they care more about seeing their friends in town than spending time with their beautiful grandson, which annoys me like crazy because they use him as their excuse to visit so frequently. They make plans all day then want to wake him up when they get home because they miss him so much, it makes me want to scream!

Anyway... Enough with my ranting... Thank you all for your well wishes for my kitty. He is responding well to the medication we are giving him (a pill twice a day), it is too bad that it is so difficult to get him to take it though. I have some scratches on my side from holding him while I shove the pill down his throat. The things we do for love.

@Zuberi: I am so happy that you are relaxed! That is the first step to making the BFP happen... Well I guess the BD is the first step, but you know what I mean I hope you O when your man is in town, it is hard when schedules don't line up.

@Momma: I think your BD plan sounds good. I'm using the Preseed again this month. I was only able to use it one day last month and it was on O day. This time I plan on using it the whole fertile week. Maybe you, me, and Zuberi will all have Preseed BFPs this month!

@amanda: I'm glad your doctor doesn't think anything is wrong, that is very reassuring. Plus, you don't have to go through a bunch of tests. However, now you are back in the stupid waiting game, and for that, I am sorry!

AFM: cd 10, waiting to O. Over the last few months, I have O'd as early as cd 11 and as late as cd 15. So, who knows when it will happen. I am temping and using OPKs every morning.

Ok, I know I'm being too positive here, but, these are the facts:

I've been extremely tired, peeing A LOT for the last 4 or 5 days....and even though I still breastfeed my almost 2 years old baby, he has asked to be fed, and then rejects my boobs....so, just a few minutes later, I went to the drugstore and bought an HPT. It's not the first morning urine, but I swear I see a very light pink line! I showed it to a couple of my co-workers (I'm at the office!) who know about our TTCing, and they see it too....I'm so excited!!! And just a week later than that awful doctor told me I would NEVER get pregnant again!!!

OH MY!!! Please!! Keep me in your prayers....tomorrow is a holiday here in my country, but I will retest tomorrow morning. Will keep you ladies posted...SO EXCITED!!!!!

Lots of baby dust to ALL
