Maggie - Congrats!!

Lolo - we moved in Saturday (the day after closing!). It was a bit crazy but we are almost completely unpacked. I'm just tired of fighting with companies. First the cable/internet and now the washer/dryer! Ugh!!

I am so praying that I can be a part of this group! Last month my DH & I were shocked at a positive pregnancy test - we weren't even trying! I had a MC at 5w and we were devastated. My doctor called it a chemical pregnancy. At the time I found out I was Rh- and got a Rhogam shot about 4 days after my MC. We started trying again this month - I am 11dpo today and scared to death of having another CP!

ah- welcome to the group and so sorry for your loss!! I am experincing a miscarriage now so I feel your pain. Did your doc say anything about waiting? I am wanting to try again next cycle.

Bumpin - I did not wait. My doctor told me with a CP I could do whatever I felt comfortable doing, but it was not necessary for me to wait to try again.

Well, I did hear back from the doctors this morning and the RN is scheduling my Progesterone test for tomorrow. I would've gone today except I am working and can't get out of work early enough. But tomorrow works because I am off. I can't trust my temp this morning because I got up and hour before taking it. Didn't realize the time and we were having a thunderstorm and it woke me up...so I had to get up and close the windows to a crack. But I did take it at my normal time and I did record it anyways. I explained to the nurse that I might've had a short LH surge but I would feel better knowing for sure that I did. However, with my temp rise, most likely I did ovulate. But at least this way I will know for sure.

Boobs still feel a tad sore as well, mostly just hard to sleep on. And my stomach/gut area feels tender. Really tired today but most likely that's due to the storm. Weather like this always makes me sleepy.

Bumpin4Baby: I think it's crap too. I have heard more ladies getting pregnant soon after a MC and staying pregnant than anything else...then again those who have lost it again so soon after might just not be sharing. I think if your body feels ready to start again then that's what you should do. If your body isn't ready to carry another baby yet then it wont. I too would want to BD again...I don't think I could wait til my body was "healed" lol. I pray the bleeding stops for you soon.

Philly girl: Welcome and to you this month. Were you on any cold medicine during the insemination? I have heard that depending on the meds it can increase your chances due to the thinning of the CM.

WhileImWaiting: AF for me is due on 9/11. So, unless my progesterone test comes back and says I did not O, I may test either this Sunday or Monday morning. I had to order some more Omega 3 pills online so I went ahead and ordered some Wondfo HPT's. Should be arriving tomorrow. With those they say you can test as early as 5 days sooner. FF says I O'd on CD16 even though I never saw a +OPK. So if they are correct that puts me at 7DPO. Sunday would be 10DPO. we see something good next week!

We bought an older house and had a lot of the trouble hooking up a gas dryer, getting TV and internet hooked up correctly, plumbing was fine during inspection but after a few months we had some issues that of course the home warranty didn't cover and so on. Also issues with the chimney for our fireplace. Buying an older home is definitely a headache but I still love it. We made it our home. Hopefully these couple of companies you have been arguing with, is it, and you won't have to worry about it anymore.

We ended up moving in within a week after closing. We should've had a couple weeks but the bank had to postpone it a week. So we were living out of the garage for about a week waiting for the painting and floors to finish up...ugh what a nightmare that was. Thankfully we could work on the bedrooms upstairs because they did get the floors and stuff done up there on moving day...lol. If we ever have to move again I know I will be looking into newer homes. I am impressed that you are almost all unpacked though...WTG!

I need to vent...I have seen 2 horrible articles this week with regard to baby cruelty and my heart just simply breaks. I don't see how so many people can be this cruel. There was one I read on Tuesday about a baby only 12 hours old was dumped in a dumpster and thankfully while someone was throwing out the trash they heard something and the miracle is, is the baby is fine. But how on earth can someone just throw a baby in the dumpster. Especially with the Safe Haven law. Then I just read that the dad in Georgia was thankfully charged with murder for leaving his baby in the car all day. Turns out he would have rather look at nude photos of females than take his baby to daycare. I also read that he was looking up to see how long it takes to die in a hot car. It just makes me sick and heartbroken. Here we are willing to do anything for a baby and yet here are these people able to get pregnant just to be horrible parents and kill their babies.

Sorry for the downer message but it just got me so choked up and sad and needed to vent.

@bumpin - 16 days seems like a long time to bleed? What did your OB say? Have you had an ultrasound to confirm that everything is working its way our like it should? I had a D&C with my first miscarriage, my second and third were early losses so they weren't that bad physically.

My OB said something about how doctor's used to recommend three months but that that's not really necessarily and just need the one cycle. But I'm sure that depends too how far along one is. My first miscarriage was discovered during week ten and my D&C was around 11 weeks. I started trying again after my next period. How far along were you?

AFM - looks like I ovulated on Tuesday, so today is 2 DPO.

Afm my first results came back and hcg was 19 but they also said it's probably low because I tested so early... so I go in for another tomorrow. Praying for high numbers!

I had an appointment with my OBGYN today. She's a bitch that's all there is too it. She's adamant that my pain is ovulation. Even though it's non stop throughout my cycle. And she talks down to you like you know nothing. I've researched getting pregnant for 5 hours a day for the last 6 months and before that for a year. I know how it's achieved. But she's still like "have sex every other day just before and just after day 14"

Uh no. I don't ovulate on day 14. Fawk. Hate her. I'm looking for another OB as soon as I'm pregnant.
