Group for the BFPs

Hi, girls! I just wanted to create a group for all the BFPs we have gotten. There have been so many lately and i have gotten to know a lot of you and i don't want to go to another forum. I feel bad talking on other groups about my bfp when others are still trying. So I figured we could talk about things in here too! I am 6w5d today. I have a 2yr old dd and am 39 yrs old. Just starting to get a few symptoms and my eye is twitching out of control. Hope to hear from my other bfp friends!

109 first beta draw!! 13dpo!! Not bad at all! Also my progesterone was a good 34.8, so I don't have to be on supplements! Yay! I'm actually pregnant!! This feels so weird... Going back tomorrow afternoon to do the second draw and see if it's doubling ok, which is the important thing, but I feel more pregnant every day so I'm less worried about that.

These are the sea bands I mentioned on the other site @BB2018. The little ball part puts pressure on the pressure point inside of both wrists and stops the nausea. Have to wear both or it doesn’t work. So far they are doing a good job.

@BB2018. You are totally right; we have that connection since day 1 and you want to protect them from anything that might hurt them. Last night, my daughter slammed the corner of a heavy book right on my belly and my hubby says, don't worry, babies are tougher than you think. But it still makes me feel uneasy. What if she hit him/her in the head or something. I know they are snuggled in there nicely but its the what-ifs. You can still take the cream and if you want, you can always take a little more cream each day and sure there is no harm in it. Someone on here posted a link about progesterone cream and how much but I will have to look to see if I can find the link and you can go from there.

@neomasie. Thank you hun for your words. I have no idea on how and where I am carrying. I almost feel something on the left side just below the belly button. It makes me feel a lot better know that movement was felt passed the 16 weeks. All I want is to hear the heartbeat on the doppler and May 7 cannot come soon enough so I know how you feel in the waiting aspect as my ultrasound is May 28 so almost a month away. The insomnia is so true, I wake up all the time throughout the night and most cases with dry mouth. Finding that I am sleeping on my left a lot more whereas I used to always sleep on my right so a huge change in positions. Hope your pre-op goes consult goes well and all your questions get answered.

Oh before I forget, I told my other grandma last night as apparantly she called my mom shortly after Easter dinner asking me if I was. She too was really happy for me and asked me if I had morning sickness as she had it throughout her 9 pregnancies for 6 weeks. That must not be fun and said I was very fortunate to not have any with both pregnancies so with that being said, I am almost thinking it may be a girl but this one has me more moody and irritable. So wish I knew already on what we are having so I can start thinking of names.

Hi, ladies! How is everyone doing today? Welcome to the ones i havent talked to yet. I took a few days off. Dd was sick and i was trying not to worry myself sick until the u/s.
Everything went well! I got to see the babe and its heart beat. 155 beats a minute. I am measuring 8w but by lmp 7w5d and they stuck with that. DD set at Dec 9th. They even gave me a 4d picture. I go for genetic and gender blood draw on May 21. I'm so excited to find out if it's a boy or girl. They did a pap and took 7 vials of blood.
I have to read the comments from the last few pages to get caught up but I'll catch back up today. Also, have a job interview at Costco at 330. Say a prayer for me. I have been a stay at home mom since my dd was born 2 yrs ago but now i have to sadly go back to the working world with #2 on the way.
Thank you all for the upbeat words when i was worried. They got me through without breaking down and going to the er. You ladies are my biggest support right now!

@BB2018. Well, 18-20 isn't that far away. You will get to feel the little kicks and pokes soon; it's an amazing feeling. It was one thing I enjoyed about my previous pregnancy. I know this may sound crazy but I honestly think you are having a girl because of all the sweets you are wanting and how calm you are as I was super calm with my daughter. Remember, chocolate has caffeine in it so you will have to limit your intake on that. I drink a medium coffee at work in the morning and that's it and then I'm on to water. On the weekend, I only have one cup (standard size- 2 cup) and that's it. I sometimes but rarely treat myself to pop; besides ginger ale. I don't think you cutting it out all together is negative as you do what's best for you and your baby.

Omg,yes @tryingafteraloss, I just want to get to 12/13 weeks. I know nothing is guaranteed from that point but it will be a huge relief. Plus I get my stitch put in then so for me it's literally the difference between baby surviving or not.

@BB2018. I hope your ultrasound goes well and you will get to see the little bean and heartbeat. When I announced my first pregnancy, I took the poem, I'm not alone and I wrote it out and then attached my ultrasound picture. I really enjoyed the poem. Maybe you can use that one. The one I am about to post is a little long and I just hope people don't think it's a joke as I would never do something like that. It's just wrong in my books but the post itself is cute. I have my doctor's appointment on Monday morning and then my next ultrasound is on May 28th which makes it seem so far away. I just hope everything is progressing smoothly and that the baby is growing on schedule.
