BB2018 your definitely right about your boyfriends 13 year old being a second mummy, I was to my half sisters (twins) when they came a long when I was almost 11, she will love having a baby brother or sister to look after, she will also be very handy for baby sitting duties in a few years too! Your announcement ideas sound lovely chriatmas/new year baby sounds brilliant, such a magical time of year. I'm like you I will be announcing once I have my 12 week scan too, I'm getting such a belly, it's usually pretty flat so it's obvious (maybe because it's number 3) I'm so glad I only have just over 1 more week of hiding under big jumpers and scarves. I have my 12 week scan on Friday the 11th too, so I am literally wishing away time from now until then as I'm sure you are too :) xxx

I found first time around I did bloat loads until around 9/10 week then panicked when it went away then came back around 15 weeks. Second time and I'm guessing the same again I just went straight from bloated to bump and no in between. I'm feeling massive at the moment :( I think my tummy muscles have just given up. I've not been able to wear jeans since 5 weeks either. This was at 8 weeks 5 days I know it's not baby as they're only about 3cm xxx

I looked like this at around 20 weeks with my first. But I'm glad it's only for 9 months and it only took 6 days to be back in normal jeans last time so keeping my fingers crossed for the same again

@BB2018 I have my first dating scan tomorrow morning! I'll be 8w6d so I'm super curious to see what they date me at. My bloating around the 5/6 week mark was INSANE. Even 7 weeks. It's just in the last week or so it's finally started to come back down. I haven't had to break out my maternity pants yet but I can feel some extra internal pressure when my beltline is pushing on my abdomen.

@dragonfly23 I was soo curious to see how your bump was progressing with this 2nd baby! I need to make it through my SIL's wedding at 10/11 weeks before I get a bump. Lol

@BB2018 - I have my ultrasound on the 16th, and I can't wait. Your baby bump is identical to mine, unfortunately I haven't taken a pic yet. But bloated completely, and upper stomach pushing out a lot. I didn't get very big with Oscar in 2015, but he was underweight, so I'm hoping to be huge this time! I want a healthy big baby!

I agree with you, BB2018, that every pregnancy is a life that should be cherished from the moment we love it, so I tell anyone I want when I want. I'll probably tell my employer after my 8wk scan to give them notice for planning when I'm out on leave. I'll wait till June/July for the facebook announcement, but that'll really only be for people I'm not close to anyway.

I've told parents and sisters so far, but I'll be telling my kids on the 12th. I have one son who turns 21 on Saturday, and we're going to a concert/beer fest and he's going to wonder why I'm D-Driver when I love beer. So I have to tell him that day. My husband and I have custody of his four kids (my stepkids), ages 18, 16, 14, and 8 - and they have been bugging me about when I'm going to grow them a new brother or sister again, so I'm very excited to tell them. But still scared, because if something happens, they'll take it hard. This still gives me a few weeks though. If I have any bad signs, I'll reevaluate.

Hi, all! It has been awhile! It is good to read up on all of you. I have been feeling good lately and my energy is back so i have been taking the time to clean, do errands and play outside with my daughter and take her for walks. It was 81 yesterday and sunny and such a nice day finally.
Midnightrose, i think it's neat about your cabin. Compost toilets are great. I am an outdoor, camping, hiking, hippy, nature girl and would love to live off grid. My bf doesn't like bugs or outside so i dont get to enjoy much except tge rare moments i sneak off to Hocking Hills, Ohio to relax.
Can't wait to see all the ultrasounds coming up! They,help me with my impatience waiting on mine!
The baby bumps are lovely! Mine has really came since I'm heavier than my dd. Ill try to find a few. I was bloated at 5w with dd and showing at 11w. She is big. 9lbs, 23in at birth. Now at 2 (3/6/16) she is in a size 4 and 5, size 9 shoe. 38lbs, 40 inches. Her daddy is 6'10". I am guessing this baby will be huge as well. Lol.

Tryingafteraloss me me me! I'm 11 weeks today, and symptoms have hit me again, I had a terrible day yesterday, so hormonal and emotional, I burst into tears over hardly anything about 10x, I fell out with my husband, for not being nice enough, I had a terrible headache most of the day and I still have it now, and am generally exhausted and nauseous! I thought they were supposed to be easing now not getting worse :( I'm hoping they ease very soon, I'm tired of being so tired and feeling rubbish. It's only 6 years for me on and I'm definitely feeling an older mum this time around at age 30 too. I hope you feel better today xx
