Hiya ladies!!! Is it Friday yet?
I feel like I'm emotionally unstable at the moment. Dh's cousins have been ttc for about year and few months now. They recently visited the obgyn and have started fertility treatments. Today, she out of the blue posted her 7dpo progesterone results on facebook (21.2). We've been getting small updates from the husband's mom (dh's aunt). They don't know about our journey but I've been dying to let them know so she has someone to vent to and confide in that knows what she's going thru. But we're worried they'll spill the beans on us. I'm happy she's finally seeing a doctor for treatment but when I found out they were in the midst of a cycle with the obgyn, I started having all kinds of emotions....happy, glad, jealous, excited, worried, nervous. I know all the feelings she's having right now and I want to reach out to her so bad. I want to talk all things ttc with her (if she wants to). We're having dinner with the inlaws tonight so I'd like to ask about it but I dont want to dip my foot into ocean and get hit by a wave of questions. One thing I do know....OMG I cant wait to do another treatment ! BUT I know I need to improve my health more so i'll be good and wait . I really need to sign up for my pole dancing classes but I'm nervous...need to get pumped up!!! lol
On a different note....dh is ordering the parts for his car that are needed. He's HOPING that by next weekend that his car will be fixed but we'll see. I do like the idea of getting the bigger car though in the near future though. It's going to be needed. But at least this way, dh can get his car fixed to sell it in the future to go towards a new car.

Ok...I couldnt help myself, I had to ask dh's mom about his cousin. Apparently they've been seeing the specialist for a couple months. The husband's sperm count was super low. So this month they got to do an IUI. My mother in law didnt suspect anything of me understanding progesterone tests cause she acted like I must have no clue what artificial insemination is LOL!
Oh if she only knew the infertility hell that is my life! lol

Tara--> I'm excited for your DH's cousin, but I completely understand the wash of emotions that goes along with that. As for my book, I'm writing it from a personal point of view, but I'm including a lot of medical information. At the moment, I'm delving into the different phases of the menstrual cycle. I'm aiming it at the novice TTC-er, but it could easily serve as a refresher for ladies like us. Would you mind taking a look at some of the info I've put out periodically? It's written in Word documents, so I could attach them in an email if you're interested. I'd love to have someone fact check me! I'm using a lot of the info I've already written into my blog, but I'm going to have to re-write some of it - it's just written too much in the vernacular. I'm praying that you're able to get DH's car up and running ASAP, and I hope that the repairs won't have dipped too far into the baby fund! I can't WAIT for your next cycle!! Are you going to do an IUI with it?

pinkster--> I can't believe it's taking so dang long to get DH's sperm count in!! Wonder why it's taken so long ...?

AFM: Got Matt dropped off at the airport this morning at 4:45 am, got the kitchen cleaned up, the kitchen floors swept and mopped, the kitchen rugs washed and dried, took John to his equine therapy, got 2 sections of my book written, helped my Mom replace the screen portion of her patio door, and went to an appointment with my PA about this weight gain. I've gained about 20 pounds over this holiday season. Since my RE has me taking birth control this cycle (and especially since Matt is gone), and there is absolutely ZERO chance of me getting pregnant, my PA and I decided to put me on Phentermine for a month (or at least until I start the Follistim again), combined with 1000 mg of Metformin to pull some of this weight off. I've lost a considerable amount of weight on it before, so I'm hoping that I can again. I also asked her if I could increase my Zoloft a bit as well. With Matt being gone so much, I just think that it would be a good thing. I'm going from 50 mg to 75 mg, which is still WAY under the max dosage.

Well I have been testing all this week, I'm not sure this morning, I did two (different types) one neg, one has a very faint line in the years of trying, I've only ever had stark white, but they are new tests I haven't tried before, so maybe its the test maybe I'm seeing things I don't want to get hopeful unless its screaming at me. I keep going back to see I its gone away

2Frsty - I took Zoloft with my first. I have experienced very serious depression for about 25 years. It is not a drug I would take in subsequent pregnancies as it used to be considered safer in pregnancy than it is now. Wellbutrin has worked well for me. I know the pluses and minuses of depression vs. treatment and if it's the only thing that works for you then definitely take it. Wellbutrin also suppresses a lot of people's appetites. On the Provera, my doc gives it for 10 days. If I take it to bring on my cycle I could just be lengthening it if I would have started on my own within a few days.

Tara - I know! I can't believe I haven't started!! I hope things go well for your cousin.

Waitingonmymircle, tough one, Im quite a private person and no-one knows we are trying at mo so on one hand it would be lovely to share your probs/trials and tribulations with your cousins but on the other hand can you trust her to be secretive, I dunno but see how you feel if you get to chat to her, trust your instincts, it would be super cool to have someone else to share things with
