Oh and I think it is wonderful to "know" you wonderful ladies around the country, especially since some of my family members aren't very supportive of us ttc.

I was afraid to check my cervix in the beginning but it's the best way to know when you are fertile even before the positive opk. I find that it feels like an internal butthole Haha! I usually check while on the toilet. Just use my middle finger and slightly bare down. Your cervix will drop downward so you can reach. It's quite fascinating! Haha!

Oh wow! I thought it was just in the country! That is so awesome!! Ok and how do you know when you're fertile, what is it supposed to feel like?? I'm scared to try it too eeek!!

When you're not fertile it feels like the end of your nose. When you're fertile it feels like your lips and you can feel the opening more.

My cm is ridiculous. I've had gobs of ewcm. If I'm not ovulating I don't know what's going on.

@athena thanks! That's a very helpful description, I guess I should give it a try after af has come and gone. Well get in the bedroom girl and hop on the good foot and do the bad thing and make a baby! lol [good_luck]

@athena- what is up with our bodies!? I took an opk a couple hrs ago. Not only was negative, but there was barely any dye on the test line. My cervix feels so ready but my ovaries arent. I read that acupuncture can affect ov date sometimes so maybe that's it.
