Catchwin - was just asking due to age. I am 46. I must say reading your posts I am a little amazed. So you have older children. Not sure but did I read right that you have had a coil for 12 years? How long have you had it out before ttc
Also can I ask which herbs and vitamins are you taking. You said you had spotting 3 days ago and today your hpt is positive. Sorry for all the questions, just that I am nearly as old and was wondering if there is something different I could do to improve my chances.

here we go, I have 3 kids 18, 14 and 13. Had 3 coils fitted since my last kid, so roughly 12 years. Had last tiny 1 day AF on coil on 16th Aug, had coil removed 20th, then Od on 26th while still bleeding from coil removal. Had first proper AF in 12 years on 7th Sept, lasted 9 days and was extremely heavy. I Od on 21st and was woken by implantation on 27th, followed by 1 tiny brown spot that afternoon.

As to herbs and vits

Vitex from AF to O >tincture 20 drops in water every morning

Red clover tea AF to O >herbal tea after evening dinner

EPO from AF to O > 1 capsul in am

Folic acid

multivitamins with iron

Red berry tea> for antioxidents before bed

just read your post and I have to say that is amazing you must have super eggs. Also how your cycle regulated so quickly after 12 years. So you only started taking the herbs and vitamins from your last af.

I started taking the herbs and vitamins from day after my coil removal just didnt put up that chart!
Have a really good friend who is a herbalist and she recommended them for the first 3 months, and if I still wasn't pregnant she said she had other things we could try!

Oh that reminds me,, better text her and let her know!

So before then were you taking any herbs for general good health.

I gave tried frer and everytime i get a dang evap line and was angry so i went to digital. I just went and bought some cheapies from $ store to see

No. I have a diet high in spices, olive oil and tomatoes though, mostly a med and north african diet.
I love to cook, so I go through a lot of spices, especially paprika and turmeric, I use about 1 lb a month in spices!They are full of antioxidants and I eat fish about 2 times a week! So I am guessing its because of my diet. I don't do any vigorous exercise. I do walk a lot around 20K a weeks (spread over the week) and I do yoga at home twice a week. But I am not a fanatic, in fact I started gaining weight when I reached 45, gained about 18 lbs but its stayed constant for last year!
I'm just an average mum to 3 kids!
Thats why I am still shaking from the test results almost 10 hours later!
Oh I did used to drink 2 cups of green tea every night, but stopped that when I started TTC as I read it can cancel out you're folic acid intake!
