Group for the BFPs

Hi, girls! I just wanted to create a group for all the BFPs we have gotten. There have been so many lately and i have gotten to know a lot of you and i don't want to go to another forum. I feel bad talking on other groups about my bfp when others are still trying. So I figured we could talk about things in here too! I am 6w5d today. I have a 2yr old dd and am 39 yrs old. Just starting to get a few symptoms and my eye is twitching out of control. Hope to hear from my other bfp friends!

Good luck for tomorrow bb2018 :) how exciting :)

Hehe pushchair :) makes me smile, we do have strollers here too, but we call the umbrella fold, light weight ones that you tend to put older toddlers in strollers.
I still can't decide at all, I probably won't buy or order one until after my 20 anomaly scan just in case.

Dragonfly23 have you looked at buggy boards of you don't want to buy a double? My daughter was very Good at walking by 2.5 and she never sat in a pushchair again once she was that age, she would walk everywhere, so I just had a buggy board on the back of my single "pushchair" for her to hop on once her legs got tired. The one I had was the Lascal Maxi and it was great, still really easy to push.
Just like this. The picture is just a google one, but my kids :)

That should say it's not my kids. Ruby was much smaller than that girl when she used it. She's still only tiny now. 106cm at age 6 bless her xx

Lakarmw, i love that buggy board! I have never seen one. I like the looks of the bassinet type stroller but it would seems that the baby would grow out quickly. Not many ppl in the states use those anymore. They are all just regular strollers that the car seat can click into when they are small mostly. I was gonna buy a double stroller but will look into the board instead. My dd is 2yr 3m and very tall at 39 inches (99cm). My kids are gonna be bean poles. Their dad is 6'10" (208cm).

Wow that is really tall :) Shes alomst as tall as my 6 year old, however her 4 year old brother is taller and heavier than her now too. The buggy boards are brilliant, they also do them with little seats on them too, although I haven't actually used one of those :)

Here in the UK, the travel systems come with the chair, the bassinet, and then the car seats clip on too all on to the same frame, as they don't advise using car seats for more than around an hour at a time here, it does seem like a lot of stuff to have, I'm still undecided about the bassinet part though as my baby is due November and with the terrible weather here in the UK at that time of year I wonder how much we will be outside anyway xxx

Well I did it. I made a decision got a huge bargain and went for the Icandy Peach. There was a bargain I just couldn't miss, they usually retail at £999 and someone I know was selling theirs, only 4 months old, in perfect condition at £250, as they were struggling to fit it in their car and wanted rid asap. I'm feeling quite lucky now but hoping I haven't jinxed anything by buying before my next scan, but I couldn't miss a bargain like that on the travel system I love. The bassinet (we call them carrycots) seat unit and car seat, all fit on the frame, and the seat unit is parent and world facing :) Am I crazy?

No jinxing-you're throwing positive vibes into the universe, the power of positive thinking!
can't wait till you share pics of baby in it

Ok. Got a question. This morning my upper right thigh was throbbing for about 10 minutes. Since then, it has had this weird aching on my skin. Only if my clothes rub against it or i touch it with my hand, ect. It feels like when you have the flu and your skin aches all over. But only on my upper right thigh. Has anyone heard of this? 13w4d.

@Kelliria. I did with my first pregnancy and not so much this one but it was near my butt and felt more like a burn than anything lol. Not sure why it happens but it went away over a few days.

Thank you, dragonfly. I'll keep an eye on it. It's annoying. Could say it kinda feels like a minor sunburn or flu achiness but mostly when touched by something. Never heard of it.
