Welcome MzThangg! Sorry you had to join us this month (and I mean that the nicest way possible ). I hope this is your month.

3lilbrownboys--this is our first month of actively trying. Before this month we weren't trying but weren't preventing either. So, this month is just the first month where I am actually trying to BD at the right times. My DH isn't like most men, and I am the one always coming at him to dtd. And now its just not AS fun and spontaneous.

All of you, have a wonderful Turkey Day!!! I will check in again on Friday...

OMG, I just had my ultrasound after Clomid and I have 9 eggs.. Nine!!
So I'm off fertility medications, and hopefully most of them will not grow and ovulate, and I'll end up with 3 or 4 of them for my IUI :)
If they do grow, IUI is not an option, it is way to risky...

to all of you

Happy Thanksgiving ladies!!

Went and did some black thursday shopping this morning and now I am chowing down on eggs and bacon. I don't normally eat breakfast but for some reason every time we eat at the relatives house I end up leaving hungry. Figure I had better start out with an artery clogging breakfast.

Slewakoa: That is the hardest part of the T. I have the same symptoms with thormone surge if I am pregnant or not. So, I try not to put too much stock in them. I am trying to hold off as long as I can to test too. I am going to try to make it till next Wednesday, but, we shall see

Angelica: 9 is a great number. Congrats!! Keep us updated and let us know what happens.

Alesha: We all knew you could do it hon LOL

Glad to see I'm not the only one here with a tired husband! He wants a baby but he has a lower sex drive (and I think damage from a bike seat - he is not riding a bike again until after we conceive!!!) and we are having issues with things...not working...the way they should. Thankfully he went to the doctor and will likely have to start on some medication soon, but it obviously is frustrating when you need to have sex at certain times and it's not working. Too much pressure just deflates men, I think! It's funny because you think men want sex all the time but not so much. Trying to strike a good balance of going for sex and not pressuring him is hard. Anyone have any tricks for this situation??

luvtowalkfast: i know what you mean. i dont even tell my husband that its O day! he wouldnt be able to 'perform' under that kind of pressure. He obviously knows that its in and around O day but he doesnt ask and i dont tell! that way we can pretend its just another normal night!
also if you make the BD all about him(lets be honest you only need the finished result at the end) it makes them much more cooperative! so they kinda think they are having a 'birthday' night but arent under any pressure! lol!
Dont know if this will work for you but thats what i do anyway. hope it helps xxxxx

I agree with luvtowalkfast! I always do extra special things for dh so feels like he is being spoiled ;) he cant um perform under the pressure either!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday!!!
Xxx!!

Thanks for the advice, guys! I will try to make it special for him and to not tell him when it's "crunch time" haha :) The good news is at the doctor he was tested for his testosterone level and it was great, so hopefully that means his sperm count is good. I think that bike seat just messed up the circulation. We think Viagra or Cialis might help but meanwhile we'll just try to be spontaneous ;) Happy happy thanksgiving to everyone! Having a blast eating pie and watching football :)
