Group for the BFPs

Hi, girls! I just wanted to create a group for all the BFPs we have gotten. There have been so many lately and i have gotten to know a lot of you and i don't want to go to another forum. I feel bad talking on other groups about my bfp when others are still trying. So I figured we could talk about things in here too! I am 6w5d today. I have a 2yr old dd and am 39 yrs old. Just starting to get a few symptoms and my eye is twitching out of control. Hope to hear from my other bfp friends!

Thank you ladies. I agree @Kelliria once I pass my MC mark I might be able to easy up some. My friend (only person I told) just told me to rest and relax no stress. I am trying to. I took a 3 hr nap yesterday WOW!! still went to bed at 10pm LOL. As long as I keep feeling my symptoms it will help easy the worrying.

Dragonfly23 so sorry to hear about your friend, it must be a terrible time for her, it can't be easy for you either with your own worries. When do you have your next scan?
Well I turned 30 weeks today, yay. Although I'm now feeling it, I got my first uti this pregnancy and it's making me feel so tired and heavy, I'm hoping the antibiotics work really soon xxx

Can I ask your thoughts please....
My husband is going away on one of bis best friends stag dos abroad (2.5hr flight) for 3 nights on Friday. Currently he doesn't have my blessing....just keeps saying we shall see how you are at the time. I just keep worrying about being left looking after my tired 6 and 4 year old, as they'll have had their first week at school, feeling poorly and having to do everything myself....I really dont want to say an out right don't go, and I doubt he'll actually listen anyway if he thinks I'm ok, but I don't want him to go....i feel like I'm sure I'll be fine, but I shouldn't have to manage on my own for 4 days. Please tell me I'm being a hormonal ridiculous person....Xxx

I don't think there's anything wrong with feeling that way @Lakarmw. You've got a lot on your plate. And could you handle it on your own? Of course. But would it make your life much easier if he were around? Of course. My husband took his last trip this past weekend until after baby arrives. She's due November, I made it very clear that with my history of preterm labour and how I'm feeling now and what needs to be done around the house, I'm politely asking him to put a moratorium on out of town trips.
So I competely understand where you're coming from and I'd have a frank, but polite conversation about it with him. Maybe he will reconsider. If not, at least you'll feel better having voiced your feelings.

Well, i just wrote a whole page to Lakarmw but i tried to add an emoji and i couldnt scroll down to the end, hit the back button and lost it all. Only thing i dislike about this app.
Lakarmw, i would allow my bf to go but i would voice my opinion and why i feel this way. You cannot help your emotions and feelings. My bf has been a total stranger diring both pregnancies. I decided to not worry about him and enjoy my dd and pregnancy. He doesnt do ANYTHING. Never even touched my belly, havent had sex since conception, no appts, not even naming her.. I am thankful God gave me two healthy daughters and i do everything myself with a 2.5 yr old and 27wks. It is hard but rewarding. I hope you can work it out with him. Good luck.

Went to my 27w2d appt. Had my glucose test, which i loved the orange drink. Also had u/s to check my placenta. It has moved enough where a c section is not necessary. Ill have another u/s at 36 wks. She is healthy, 2lbs 11oz. Also, she looks so much like my dd! My appts are every 2 wks now as well.

@Kelliria. I enjoyed the glucose test as I drank a lot of orange pop as a kid. Plus people look at me funny when they hear I like it lol. Awesome pictures. I'm glad that the placenta has moved and you won't need a c-section. Thursday is my doctor's appointment and I get to undo that lovely test they do at 36 weeks. After that, I have an appointment every week.

@Lakarmw. My next scan is Sept 18 so I am hoping his one heart valve is working normally and that he won't need an ultrasound when he is born. I do worry about my friend as her specialist appointment is on the 17th and I'm really hoping she hears some good news rather than the bad.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I am feeling better today, I think the antibiotics are working for the uti.....I still don't like that he's going one bit, I have spoken to him and he says if I truly don't want him to go he won't, but I know if be left feeling awful if he missed out too, so its a hard one, I think I will allow him to go, unless I start to feel worse again towards the end of the week, fingers crossed I won't.
Kelliria sorry to hear your bf has been a stranger :( I take it he's better once baby arrives, maybe he finds it very scary. Good luck with your glucose test so glad to hear your placenta has moved...that's fab news.
Dragonfly23 36 week appointment, wow you are so close now hope you're feeling ok. Good luck for your scan I will keep everything crossed for you xxxxx
