I'm so sorry ladies :(

I am testing today to see what the heck is going on. Going on a four hour hold starting at 4:30 <3

Hopefully today is the day I get a solid positive because I'm nauseous as heck and I've officially missed my period.

@Purplesummer1205- I am sorry that AF got you.

@Vettechgirl- Good luck! Do you normally have a short luteal phase?

My luteal phase is anywhere from 10-16days long. I typically have a 30 day cycle every month.

So sorry for those who had AF arrive :(

1 DPO for me. Sixth month off of BC and 4th month ttc. With my luteal phase defect, the doctor doesn't think we will be able to conceive on our own but we tried anyway! Only difference this cycle is that we tried preseed. Preliminary tests are all being done over the next month before we meet with the fertility specialist but it would be so nice to conceive before then!

Good luck to the rest of you!

@Vettechgirl- Really? I can't remember, do you temp? I am only asking because although cycle length can change month to month luteal phase is not supposed to vary by more than a day each month. So maybe you are not ovulating when you think you are? Also, from what I've read having a luteal phase of less than 12 days can prevent conception because the egg does not have time to implant deep enough before AF to make it a viable pregnancy. I'm not trying to scare you or anything, I just know that I appreciate advice and knowledge so if someone knows something I don't I want to be told. I do really hope you get your BFP when you test in a few hours though!

@Ruby0709- I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you! I know how you feel about hoping it happens before the specialist comes into play. I'm in the same boat but for a different reason.

Prayingfor1: my luteal phase was 15 days this past cycle.

@Vettechgirl- Ok, so then based on that your luteal phase SHOULD be 14-16 days this month, so if you are only 12 or 13dpo then you still have a few more days to go until you are late. So don't panic if when you test you still get a BFN, although my fingers are crossed that you do get your BFP! As I'm sure you know, no test is completely accurate until after a missed AF so you still have time to get your BFP.

I am now 13 dpo. So Today or tomorrow is the predicted AF. I really don't think she is going to show as I am currently not showing any symptoms of her showing. I really hope it stays this way. Today donuts have made me nauseous. Just the smell of them. Not going to lie this whole counting jazz is confusing as heck

@Vettechgirl- I agree, it is confusing. I am a learning fanatic though so I have been reading everything I can get my hands on concerning all things fertility related. That's also why I am using opk's, bbt charting and cm/cp charting. I need to know everything! Lol. I hope you don't take what I am saying as negative, that would never be my intention. I just want to share the information that I have received.

I am 7dpo today and for some odd reason I almost threw up when I opened a cat of cat food to feed my cats last night. The food wasn't rancid and it's never bothered me before but last night it was instantaneous, as soon as the smell hit me I had to run for the sink. Weird at only 6dpo...
