Old thread got ginormous so here's a new one!

bluerose sorry about spotting hun :( At least you get to see the GYN and hopefully get a plan in place! You've been waiting too long for baby #2.

janise thanks for the response, yeah I know very little about whether HCG actually increases odds of pregnancy. Maybe I will do some googling :) How you feeling today?

Cam wow good for you finishing that run! 4 miles is a lot especially if you don't do it very often. Throwing up is never a pleasant experience though ;) But it is badass!

AFM CD 12, temps are nice and normal levels of low. My chart looks great this month, after looking horrific last month. Go figure! Getting lunch today with my newly-pregnant friend. I feel ready to see her now. FX that I don't do something embarrassing like burst into tears ;)

bumpin it might still work for you, I woke up about twice a night to pee and my temps still gave me a good chart. Hard to say if you'll have the same luck but it might be worth trying :)

JLH 10 days wowza, good thing you have probably O'd ;) Your shopping trip sounds amazing. Jealous! My walk was good, it rained the whole time so I didn't see anyone else out on the trails for the whole 5 miles. I like walking in the rain. Keeps my body temperature stable :)

Hello to the other gals! Miss you!

AFM my client today cancelled so I get a long weekend! Tomorrow I am driving to Madison to see the a capella group Home Free. Pretty stoked. They are awesome. I get to see my mom too which will be good, except we are sharing a hotel room and she snores like a freight train. Ugh.

@I love a capella! Have a great long weekend. Hope you can get a decent sleep despite your mom snoring. I have been shopping all week. I should really stop offering to go places with people. I've bought running shoes, a purse, red lobster, hockey equipment for my son, random stuff at Walmart. Probably spent like $500 this week on extras haha oops.

@JLHart22- Oh! That sounds fun. I wish we had such things around here. Hope your tww and trip goes well!

@ Bumpin4Baby- You could always give it a shot anyway. Some people have super easy to read charts despite environmental conditions.

I am not sure where I am in my cycle. I had ewcm a few days ago, some cramping, near positive opk. And now no cm and my opks are getting fainter. My temps are remaining the same. Hoping I don't ovulate over the weekend if I haven't already. Apparently it's snowing everywhere around here but not at my house yet. Woke up to a funny story about police escorting a moose out of the city haha. Guess I better get a nap in before work tonight!

Hey there ladies! Things are bonkers still, but settling into a routine, finally. John decided this past week that "sleep is for losers" and hasn't been in bed before 9:30 nightly! I haven't even been on the Internet at all in almost a week!

Luv--> How ya doin' Preggo?? Did you get your walks in the cool weather in?

Bumpin--> I'm glad to know that you're still plugging away, but I'm sad to see that AF showed. I was SOOO hoping that last cycle was your rainbow baby cycle!

Blue--> A MOOSE?! That's hilarious! If you only got a near +OPK, you may have missed your surge, but still O'd. FX'd for you this cycle. Did they ever give you the official findings of the HSG? (I haven't been able to catch up yet.)

Jan--> I hope things are brightening up for you.

JL--> Get it while you can!

Went to an Oktoberfest celebration on post tonight; spent 80% of the time standing in line for food, but the kids still had fun. John has started walking (finally) and walked his little legs all over the place! We got him one of those psychedelic glowing wands ... you'd have thought we gave him a little slice of Heaven itself! It was so cute! I've been able to Skype with Matt several times, and even sent him a video of John with his wand! That's it for me!

How's everyone else?

@2Frsty-Glad to hear a routine is beginning to fall into place. Poor little guy. Haha yes, a moose. Like I was telling my sister they have more Moose in the city apparently than I do at my home in the country. I still need a follow up appointment. I am the worst for making appointments! I feel as if I would fit in at Oktoberfest.... beer and food right? haha

Temp. was up when I woke up this afternoon. Not sure if it's because I was sleeping during the day or my temp actually did go up. And opk was darker again this afternoon. So maybe ovulated last night? We were sneaky and got to bd this morning anyway just in case!

HI LADIES!!!!

It has been ages since I have been on there and just thought I would pop in to say hello!!!

Hope you are all doing well, either getting answers or well on the road for a BFP!!

AFM. My doctor agreed to do an exploratory surgery to see if he could unblock my left tube. When he went in he found that my right tube was also blocked. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the left tube but was successful in clearing out the right tube. He thinks it will scar over again quite quickly as during the HSG 4 months ago it was clear and on Oct 6 it was blocked. We have our referral in to the Calgary Fertility clinic and it will be about a 4-6 month wait to get a call from the doctors to book our consult.
Sitting at CD17 and I don't think much will happen this cycle as I am not 100% sure if I ovulated which is to be expected from the surgery.

Anyhow, thought I would just pop in and say hello and try and catch up on the posts to see how everyone is doing :)

@Blue: glad that you were able to do the HSG. It isn't the most pleasant but at least you have some answers. Rumor has it that for the next three cycles after an HSG your rates skyrocket due to the tube(s) being cleared out. Good luck, fingers are crossed for you. Sounds like you may have had your surge overnight also

@Luv: congratulations!!! I hope the pregnancy treats you nicely and you are doing well. So great to come back and check in and see that a prayer has been answered.

@bumpin: I need to get my butt back to the gym. I used to do personal weight training and have already signed up for some extreme obstacle races next year. Good luck with your cycle this go around. Charting really does help to see patterns in your cycles and if you are ovulating. I did it for a year and just decided to take a break from it for a bit

@JL: Fingers are crossed for you that things will happen naturally but if not at least you have a plan in place. Hope you caught that egg!!! Pure Barre sounds like an amazing workout!!!

@Janise: Hope things start to brighten up for you soon.

@Cam: How are you darling??

Anyone else I forgot I am sorry :( Trying to read all the threads is quite the challenge. Guess I should really pop in more often!

Dev--> I'm so sorry about lefty, but I'm glad they were able to get the right tube unblocked! One open tube is certainly better than none!

Blue--> That's too hilarious about the moose! My Daddy saw a moose in person when he went TDY to Alaska once. He said it was just standing right in the middle of the road blocking both lanes of traffic. His driver turned and asked him, "What should I do, Sir?" Daddy replied, "What the hell CAN you do?? Sit here and wait for him to get out of the road!! He weighs more than this Humvee!"

bluerose woohoo for temps up! Glad you were able to sneak one in, you clever lady ;) LOL about the moose. Ah, the big frozen north. We didn't have moose in Wisconsin where I grew up but we had a LOT of deer. I figure 20 deer = 1 moose :-p

2Frsty wow your little boy sounds exhausting right now! ;) But that is so fun about Oktoberfest. As a huge fan of bratwurst I am sure I would love it. I did manage to get a good walk in, in the rain haha...it was lovely :)

Dev good to see you again! Thanks for the congrats, yeah it is going better now but the first trimester was a bit dicey. I just keep thinking how lucky I am to be able to experience it, even if it can suck sometimes. Can't wait for all my ladies to join me. You are on your way! So happy you got a tube unblocked, and that you are recovering nicely from the surgery. That is terrible that you have to wait so long for the RE though. It will be worth the wait anyway, and hopefully you won't even need it :)

Jan, JLH, Cam, Bumpin, hellooooo!

AFM spent yesterday in Madison with my mom, the Home Free concert was amazing. Highly recommend them. Mom barely snored at all which was wonderful! Back home now and about to watch some football, glad I can relax knowing that my team already won this week :) Half marathon is a week away! I am not entirely ready but I have done FULL marathons on literally NO training so I can gut out anything. I will bring lots of Fruit Rollups to eat during the race haha :)

9 years ago • Post starter

@luvtowalkfast- I am sure the marathon will go well! Good thinking on the fruit roll-ups! Our deer population has dropped due to such cold winters lately. :( Actually thought hunting season would be closed this year.

@DevLanCayBeth- I am sorry they couldn't do anything for your left tube :(. Hopefully your right one stays open and you conceive soon. That must be stressful. I am sorry you have to deal with all this. Good luck!

Had a positive opk this morning when I got home, was able to get in another bd and temp is up even more. So I am hoping everything was timed well.... is it normal to get a positive opk after a temp. rise?
