TTC After Having Tubal Reversal Month #2 Any Advice Plzzzz

Hello! I had my TR Feb 21, 2012. We TTC right after my TR since I was due to Ovulate my Positive on First Response was March 8th we BD on March 9th since my hubby wasn't feeling well. Had lots and I mean lots of pregnancy symptoms starting 5dpo until 18dpo. But i did get a slight AF visited on March 19th 4 days earlier than normal and no cramps at all which was amazing to me.

So here we are again (first "real" month) TTC, reason why I say this is because doctor said to rest first month then try in March. Well I am due to Ovulate soon and I'm going to start my fertile days 3/29. My cycles are 28 days. Hopefully we can BD everyother night during my fertile and Ovulation window. I got so depressed when I took a HCG test at the doctor and came back Negative 3/28 but God knows best I have to keep the Faith!!! I pray it we can get a BIG FAT this cycle

Does anyone have any ideas I can do or maybe use to help out this process? I will start trying the PreSeed again as well. Please HELP and Thanks to everyone ahead of time!!!!

I had my TR in March 2012...we ttc in May. I had a chemical in September. Then got my bfp! I am 43 and my tube lengths were 6 and 7. I quit drinking coffee and started raspberry tea. I also took 75 mg of dhea everyday along with b6 and prenatals. Baby aspirin and
Progest cream after ovulation. I temped and used opks every month except this month........
There is hope! Don't give up!

Hi ladies, I had my TR on March 5, 2012. I am on cycle #11 due to short cycles. I think I had a chemical in August, but not sure. I was out of town and AF was late by 4 days. I had a very very faint line. It was so faint that I had to squint to see it. It was at 13DPO so I am not sure. I have tried Clomid for 3 cycles and one with the trigger and nothing.

We just started using OPKs this cycle. I am 6DPO and will be testing this weekend.

I had my surgery done in Monterrey, Mexico by one of the best infertility specialists here. I hope she is as good as they say. I will be having an HSG in January if no BFP by then.

So excited to have found a thread full of women who have had their tubal reversed. I have been on here since June and felt like there was no one to relate to the journey. I had my TR done on April 17, 2012. Began trying to conceive in June and had a positive in September, but five days later AF showed, unfortunately I think this is due to tube lengths, but whatever still trying like mad. Tube lengths are 4CM on both sides

*update*

So I went to the doctor yesterday and found out my actual tube lengths (I must have been really out of it after my surgery because I remember him telling me something totally different!!) my left tube is 4 1/2 :( and my right is 7. We got the all clear to try again this cycle, even though we were going to try anyway. I am cycle day 14 and am due to O in1-3 days. My OPK tests are finally getting darker so I am relieved. Worried I wouldn't ovulate this cycle after a chemical last cycle. Dr said to try for 3 more months before they would consider a HSG since I did get pregnant and they were able to confirm it. Wish me luck and good luck to all ttc or in the tww. Baby dust!

Welcome rmartinez. I am new here too. I am not sure how many are still posting here a it seems that many have conceived (yay). My story is very similar to yours so I can really relate. I look forward to chatting with you all on this journey!

Hi Everyone.

I'm a newbie to the site. I read over many of the forums and this one just seemed like best fit for me. So Greetings and Salutations and a heavy sprinkling of Baby Dust to EVERY wonderful lady in waiting here.

My story: Had TL done in 1990 during a horrendous time in my life. Met and married my Marine love of my life sweetheart in 1999. I have two adult children, he has none biologically,he adopted and raised mine as his. He's a terrific father, husband, provider. This is something we've wanted to do forever.

I had been diagnosed with endometriosis and after numerous treatments, surgeries, etc. I gave up. A friend convinced to attempt a radical holistic approach and give it three years....so I did. I had been virtually symptom free for nearly two years and entirely symptom free for over six months. With that positive sign, we decided to reconsider the TR.

I began seeing a fertility specialist here in Ft Worth. My lab work (FSH, etc) and numbers were all good, my period and ovulation were regular. He said I was excellent candidate.

He ended up retiring this month, but made recommendations on other surgeons to perform the TR. DH and I checked them out, fasted, prayed and finally made the decision. Every step of the way has just seemed to be completely blessed by our Father. Every obstacle, every hurdle, He has cleared for us.

Last week, we went to Rio Bravo Clinic in Mexico and Dr Roberto Perez performed my TR. Today is one week to date.

I honestly can say I received better care there than I have at any hospital in stateside over the many years of dealing with the endo. The staff was wonderful. My hard to impress husband was blown away by the surgeons skill and precision.

More blessings from the Father....afterwards, Dr Levi, my physician, present during the procedure told us they saw NO SIGN of endometriosis at all. He said whatever I had been doing, keep doing as it had worked.

Due to the endo, there is a higher possibility of scarring, so in spite of the lack of indication, they asked us to wait two cycles to allow for complete healing of tubes and I am to have HST done by my home ob/gyn before we proceed further.

Dr Levi seems to think there will be no difficulty conceiving at all and Dr Smith, here, prior to his retirement felt the same, even before the surgery. He said that my numbers and overall physical condition are that of a woman in her late twenties/early thirties.

I am doing well. Contracted a horrendous cold, w/sinus infection. Everyone in the house was sick for the holidays...recovering from that now...I think I would be feeling much better already if not for the cold/sinuses.

They recommended almost total bedrest for two weeks after the surgery. I am able to work from home via laptop so that is not a real issue. I thought I would be going nuts, but so far, I've slept much more than I had anticipated I would. Each day a little more energy, a little better.

I've been tracking my BBT for three months now...and ironically, though they did tell me even the smallest things can affect ovulation, I am surprised to find that apparently I ovulated yesterday, though not actually "due" (as predicted) until Sunday.

Faithfully, I've established a pattern of a slight dip in temperature the day I ovulate, followed within 12-18 hours by a slight spike that remains elevated until my period begins.

So anyway...thats where we are in this journey. I will see my *new* home physcian sometime early in the New Year for my initial follow up and we expect to be TTC sometime in mid to late February.

Dr Levi did suggest (STRONGLY) that I lose twenty more pounds between now and then, (i've lost over 30 so far) as that will further help to improve my hormone levels and numbers. Of course, not being allowed to do more than the most basic of tiny exericises at the moment and can't return to the gym and regular workouts for 8 or more weeks is really interfering with that plan. Oh well...they say abs are made only 20% in the gym and the rest is 80% is the kitchen....guess I will be testing the theory.

My prayers, His promises. Psalm 91:1-He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 113:9-He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD!

Thank you Randi!

It took a lot of prayer, but Dr Perez came well recommended by my original doctor...sad to say that Dr Smith would only recommend like four doctors in our country....and none here in TX....Dr Perez was actually closest to us, and frankly, cost the least. We were able to cover our travel, a nice post recovery stay out on SPID beachfront fora couple of days and all our surgically related expenses for less than any doctor stateside....

My care was superb. I love Dr Levi .and the nursing staff. All were fantastic...and that tiny hospital, my private room, even my private bath were all super nice....better than many stateside. I would recommend Rio Bravo reversals to anyone in a heartbeat. I couldn't be happier with before, during and after care.

Now just a lady in waiting on TTC! God Bless and Baby Dust.
