Hello Ladies,

Nikki - no we didn't get a post coital test. DH had a SA back in october as part of our intial work up with the specialist.When the results came back they ordered another one just to make sure it wasn't some environmental factor (like an illness or injury).

TTC - From what I've read they probably do an IUI.

Freckled - Sometimes its better to just keep busy, easier said than done I know, but I drove myself much less crazy when I had something else to think about.

AFM- CD7 nothing much going on. I figure we'll call friday for results and I'll see if I can book another appointment with the RE and hope I can get in with the good one.

ok wow I just read an article on infertility which stated that "Infertility is due to problems related to the woman about two-thirds of the time." Wow... just wow.

From everything else I've read it's stated that it's pretty much equal male female respectively 40% of the time and 10 is a combination of both partners and 10% they have no idea why.

I don't really know why this made me angry but it did.

ginabee - I'm 9dpo so still pretty early, I've tested a few times with wondfo's but they were negative, which I totally expected.

Hi Everyone! Our group is getting big, loving all the support we can give each other.

Margie- I read that to, that statistically is more often the womans problem. The first thing they did on me was testing to see if I ovulated, they were negative so she didn't even want to do further testing. She said here is the problem so lets deal with that. I feel like our reproductive system has so much more to it and so much that can go wrong. Also I feel our emotions can have such an impact on our reproductive system as well which doesn't help when you are TTC. I hope you find your awnser, its so frustrating I know!!

TTC- Have you used preseed? Its supposed to give a good environment for the swimmers to survive in.

TSB- I have used dollar tree tests, they are the first test that I got a bad evap line on...it was so misleading and frustrating.

AFM I am CD 10, 3 days after my last dose of Clomid.
I am not feeling much at all. we are starting to BD every second day. I have no idea when I will ovulate. I am using OPk and so far negatives, not even close to getting darker. I am so worried because I didn't really have any crazy symptoms from the clomid. Very occasional hot flash, a little moody/sensitive but nothing that was terrible. I am used to the metformin now, no bathroom problems, I even increased my dose a bit. I am so scared that the clomid won't work.I know I need to relax but its so hard.

Well hopefully they go straight for IUI for us then. We talk to the RE next Wednesday morning. I'm really excited to see what the gameplan is. Unless I get a BFP before !

Holly- yes we used preseed the last four cycles. I have also tried Mucinex thinking maybe that was the issue. Good luck with the Clomid!

I feel like such a newbie lol but what are RE and AFM short for?

Jessyann- RE is are specialist (Endocrinologist) who helps treat infertility.
AFM: AS FOR ME.

Don't worry it took me a while to get the hang of the abbreviations too ;)

How exciting we are both 9 DPO. I am really trying to hold out not POAS (peeing on a stick) until Sunday, but I will probably cave Friday.

Gina- what day are you supposed to O? Is there any such thing as too much bding? Our schedules have lined up perfectly this week so we kinda have been together a lot.

Freckled- yeah i would get the ones with the lines. Thats what im doing right now. The line is getting darker each day but not quite perfect. But tomorrow is supposed to be the day. The line either has to be as dark or darker than the test line. I hope you have better luck! Those false smiley faces are the devil lol

Haha Jessyann...it took me a long time to learn them too. So if your confused just feel free to ask! I ended up googling a lot of them at first, I was so lost in conversations.

Niki - I have already started... but I accidentally ordered the wondfo pregnancy tests instead of the opks. I have NO clue how I did that and instead of making me send them back they refunded the money and told me to keep them. SO i figured I would just take them as I please lol. I fully expected them to be negative considering I'm only 9dpo, and they aren't the most reliable this early or so it seems. I'm glad you are doing better than I am haha! Crossing my fingers for BFP's this weekend!
