Kiki -

I am day 14 of my cycle today so in that fertile window and as I have a 28-29 day cycle I should be ovulating around this time... my hubby and I are 'just going for it' in a fun way hehe and see what happens. My sonographer taht I went to see and had a scan to identify the miscarriage said a lot of first time mothers do miscarry because their body has this 'new alien' in their bodies and body doesn't know what to do with it so it let's it go.

When are you allowed to do further testing? Over here in NZ it is after 3 miscarriages but I hope I don't fit into that category and our next pregnancy develops to full term ;-)

Holly - men just don't understand sometimes and can say things that aren't very tactful at times... there is more to getting pregnant and staying pregnant than I ever thought before my first experience. Sometimes we need to think about what people say to us and think - does this add any value for me? If the answer is no then just need it to go in one ear and out the other... life is too short to sweat the small stuff! there is a lot more positivity that needs to go around! ;-)

Team-Thanks girl! I wasn't upset at all I just wanted it noted that it does happen on ither boards too. You're right...we have been on these boards for a while now too! It's time for our BFP!!

AFM-I went to have the HSG done and I don't know if it was the fertility clinic (they are from out of state and unaware of the hospitals protocols) or the X-ray department but someone didn't get and OB confirmed so I wasted my lunch break (and them some) just to find out we couldn't do it. The hospital is a half hour away from where I work so I was unhappy to say the least. Luckily they are able to get the OB at 4 so I'm headed back there and luckily I have a very understanding boss. So I get to stress about it for a few more hours but I'm glad we can still get it done this cycle. Tomorrow is CD10 and they are only done CD5-10. I can tell I'm getting ready to ovulate again too cuz I'm getting some Fertile CM and we can't have unprotected sex until after the HSG (not sure how long after but I think I will give it till tomorrow am).

Dear nharty09,

Thanks for the sweet wishes! This is the first time I am using preseed. I have read a lot of positive blogs about it on this CTP website. I hope it works out for us. During frequent BD it gets hard to get properly wet (tmi) especially on weekdays after work. So, this is super handy so we both can get to the point fast; if you know what I mean.

I am on cd13 and my cycles vary from 29-32 days approx. What about you?

Dsinha and nharty I have used pressed the last few months. I haven't gotten pregnant using it but It certainly can't hurt so we will keep trying. The only thing i would recommend is not using the suggested amount. It's a lot.

Holly- hopefully tomorrow is a better day for u!

AFM- I had my HSG done today and maybe I'm a baby but it sure hurt! But it only hurt bad for a minute. They said the tubes were clear so that's good! Report now goes to the RE so I look forward to what he has to say and what the gameplan is for next cycle (unless we get lucky enough to get pregnant this cycle! I had tons of fertile cervical fluid today before my HSG and I never have much cervical fluid). Start OPK's tomorrow and now that the HSG is done we will start to BD EOD.

Holly860 Thanks! OMG that's an awful feeling and he wasn't very supportive for you either. However... not to defend him because feeling the way you are totally sucks, but mine has been acting like that too. I finally sat him down and told him he was acting like a $#%^& lol. Ended up being that he was actually upset about not having a baby yet and that the whole process was frustrating him. We are working on his expression of feelings lol... ugh.. like we need to deal with anything else. Fingers crossed for you guys

nharty09 thanks for the support, I know some try to make it on here and support us, I appreciate it That's frustrating I bet having such erratic cycles! Last month was my first cycle post m/c and for obvious reasons was really whacky. One month I had a +opk at CD9 out of nowhere, I only tested because I have some O twinges. Fingers crossed for you as well!

TTClate30's thanks! I totally agree with you.. coming on after not commenting to announce a bfp is totally irritating and very insensitive. The point of these boards are to support each other and to have a little community of women to symptom spot, vent, complain about symptoms, and anything else. How are you feeling after the hsg? to you guys!

TeamSuperBaby Thank you ! I think you and I may be close in our cycles then! I think I'm around 4dpo today - nothing to report either. !

ecesweetie1983 hahah that's great! Have fun with it, the pressure sucks the fun out completely. My hubby has already mentioned that he feels the pressure.. ugh. I agree with the "new alien" thing lol I'm feeling positive now. We usually don't do any testing until after 3 m/c as well. Buut because I'm an ER nurse I work with all the specialists and I just ask for what I would like. So I did a bunch of blood work already and everything has come up negative... doc says "was just bad luck". Haha hoping so! We are going to test in about a week at the very earliest. Good luck to you guys!

AFM I'm about 4 dpo and nothing to report. I had 2 days of ovulation spotting during my +opks and then completely nothing since. Maybe some increased CM yesterday and today. I don't temp but can't tell I'm feeling warmer than usual. We DTD every other day last week, so really hoping we caught the egg and sticks! Hubby has been getting frustrated with all the pressure and says after this month he may want to take a break... I don't know how I feel about that. So maybe we won't have to deal with that lol trying to stay positive here

Kiki - think just gotta go in with the mentality if it is meant to be it will be... if doesn't happen this month maybe next month... we have a lot of fun trying! We are trying not to feel pressure into doing anything... but can get that way I am sure after a while! You are lucky you can test and have access to these resources ;-) Am sure it will happen for you guys soon... all the best!

dsinha1011 - We should probably get something, because I don't really have much cm ... Hope it works for you! I'm cd 9 now.

Kiki2387 - Of course! That's what we're here for. Your ovulation spotting had me wondering so I took an opk last night because I have been "spotting". My period is normally only 4 or 5 days, but this morning I even had spotting and it's cd 9! this is your month so you don't have to worry about taking a break!!

ecesweetie1983 - I agree with you, but I know after trying for so long that saying can get hard to go by! I wish I could say I have a lot of fun trying LOL!!

TTClate30's - Glad you got the HSG over with! I can just imagine that it would be painful. Hopefully you are extra fertile right now and catch the egg before having to move on to any other testing or anything.

AFM - CD 9 and I think my body is just nuts. My period pretty much ended Friday. I had some very little spotting Saturday, but yesterday and today I have had some sort of spotting, but it comes with cm and just a tinged color. TMI I am sorry :( I took a HPT and OPK last night because I just don't understand what is happening. BFN of course, but the OPK actually had a line, and I didn't expect that so early in my cycle. Guess I will continue testing since I don't know what is going on. I just can't understand why my body can't be normal. The DR said maybe PCOS, but the only symptoms I really have to say that is my inability to lose weight (could just be me not being motivated enough ) and my irregular cycles. I'm just over all of this at this point. DH and I have held off for so long on going to a specialist to see what is going on because every time I have blood work done it comes back normal. I really don't want to take clomid, etc, to get pregnant. I want my body to do it on it's own! That will change if I wait too much longer, though, I think. Sorry for the long post, I'm just getting it all out today LOL. I'll be 29 in less than 2 weeks and I just hate seeing another year go by that we are disappointed. Especially when a friend of my mom's commented on my Facebook the other night that she still thinks I should have one of my own. Ya think?! We'd like that, too ...

Rant over! Hope you all have a great day! and

WOW you miss one day on here and there are multiple posts. I read everyone and tried to take notes so here it goes....

DSINHA: YAY we are cycle buddies my EDD is 10/5 too.

KIKI: I think everyone is trying to recover from the holidays. Also, a lot of the regulars are still on the September board. Hang in there it will pick up.

HOLLY: The Metphormin is awful, but for me the side effects ended after 2 to 3 weeks.

TCC- love your point about 1st timers. GL and FX for you this cycle. Maybe the HSG was all you needed to get tings opened up. I have heard of a lot of women getting pregnant right after the procedure just because it naturally opens everything even when there wasn't a "blockage".

AFM: 1 DPO. Yesterday I had my first IUI. RE thinks we could not have timed it any better. Also DH did well they wanted 2 million and he produced 19million. (I told him to eat his Wheaties before we went ;) Not going to lie the procedure was a little uncomfortable and I have been having awful cramps since. RE said that was normal. So now I am being cautiously optimistic. DH is really excited this cycle and doesn't completely understand why I am not sharing his excitement. I do really want this baby, but after going through so many disappointing months (when you know its going to be a BFP!) it just hard to get THAT excited. Anyway negative thoughts out of the way...LET's GO CATCH THOSE EGGS AND GET OUR BFPS.

Kiki- I should probably have that talk to. Men sometimes don't know how to show their feelings in "appropriate" ways. Its nice to know we all struggle with our frustrated husbands. I hope you guys don't take a break. Maybe in taking a break you just don't do any monitoring or timed sex?? Lots of people get pregnant on a break from trying.

Nikki- yesterday was my first day of metformin and holy cow tummy ache. Hurt so bad(I took it with food). I also don't want to veer far from the toilet. Did you find that it worked for you?

TTclate_ I am glad your test went well. hope you guys take advantage of this super fertile time!

AFM- gong show of a morning. My septic tank is full(I don't have town sewer). I have a truck in the way that wont start so I can't pump it. So I feel like crap from starting metformin...I can't flush toilets .....started my AF(not just spotting). I missed an appointment at the bank. I hope I get used to this metfomin because I will be starting my clomid to soon!
Have a great day everyone
