We're TTC #1, Cycle #6 Today is CD 5 for me.
Had a CP in December, which was difficult, but also made us realize how much we wanted this.
This month I'm tracking BBT and using OPKs. But honestly, if it doesn't happen this cycle, I'm going to take a break from tracking things to see if putting less stress on conceiving helps us be more successful.
My sister actually recently found out she was pregnant (she's about 8 weeks now) and while I'm very excited for her and to be an aunt myself, it's difficult to grasp that her and her husband conceived when they weren't trying while we're disappointed month after month.

Anyway - looking forward to having other ladies to communicate with who are on this journey as well!!

Hello ladies,

After a time for DH and I, I am back. CD 3 today. Everything was perfect last cycle but we did not caught it. This cycle, vitamins, OPK, BBT , pre seeds and no drinking after Af for both of us. I will also do clomid starting today.

Fx we get our new year babies.

CD3. Managed to clean house and exercise. Got to thinking about the only difference of what I've been doing now vs how I got prego so easy and fast is before I wasn't drinking caffeine. I drink 1 cup of coffee every morning. I don't really see where that would hurt anything. My thing is I stress out over everything, small crap I shouldn't worry with like people not taking their shoes off when they come in. I have a tile floor, it's no big deal but I dwell on it for a week afterward. I've got to relax!!! Im a little ODC about pushing chairs under the table too.....ugh!! Just breath Chick and let it go and think baby thoughts.

Well cd1 and I'm officially joining this board. Kinda disappointed but I know a lot of you have been trying a lot longer than me so I shouldn't be complaining. I just thought it was gonna happen so easy since my first was a bc baby and I wasn't even trying (obviously)
Time to step up the game and make sure I have the best chances in the coming months

Hi everyone. CD1 cuz the witch caught me. I was so disappointed too since I had faint lines on like 10 different tests with three different brands, but nothing got darker and sure enough, right on time - fricking Shark Week.

Welcome ladies!! Been having really bad daily headache since last cycle. Not getting enough sleep and a little stressed. I noticed the headaches start after I drink my coffee but I only have 1 cup and been drinking it for years so this is weird. I stopped drinking caffeine while TTC with last baby, which by the way she is 1 today conceived on first try. This time around I believe is our 6th cycle. My DH is also 44 today. His sex drive....well it pretty much sucks!! He wants another baby since we only have 1 baby together. I have 3 others from previous marriage. He has stopped all alcoholic beverages and we have been trying on "O" week but last month between having out of town company and golf games he fell short of taking care of business. Moma was not happy had to have a coming to Jesus meeting that babies don't conceive by themselves. So I'm not going to stress out about this and if it happens it happens. Only going to try this 1 last year, I'll be 43 in December the only other thing that is different is that I've still got 17 lbs of weight I haven't lost with last pg. it's hard at my age to lose it, my thighs seem to be having a love affair with one another.
What is pre seed?

Chicks - Preseed is a 'sperm friendly' lube to use while ttc. Only use this type of lube when ttc! Others will kill the little swimmers. That's weird about your headache... have you switched brand of coffee? I'm just wondering if something else has changed? I know allergies are supposed to be really bad this year! I'm prone to migraines that are attributed to everything from AF to being a human barometer.

It's amazing the similiarites we have with others! I also conceived my son 1st try and all with only tracking my CM! I had him 1 day after my 38th birthday! He is 9 years old now and the other love of my life! Soooo I'll save you from doing the math here... I'm 47. Been actively ttc for over 2 years. I could kick myself for not having tried again sooner, but I am blessed. I have more info on my countdown page if you'd like to read....

Can I join? I feel like I could go for cocktails and have a blast with all of you ladies. You are hilarious! But since my husband gave me a huge lecture early this cycle about me not being so serious about trying for this baby as I was for our first baby, I guess I better abstain from drinking! Anyway, CD8 today and I think I'm about to O - lots of EWM so we will see.
