Rebecca - You & I sound a lot alike. I have done the EXACT same as you have and just not share or discuss my wanting to have a baby with anyone anymore. That is why I SOOOO look forward to reading your guys posts and sharing with you all as well. You all can relate and understand and I sooooooo appreciate everyone and their prayers. I pray for all of you too!!! I just wish we all could meet in person. : )

Praying4Alil1 - I am still open to possibly of a donor egg one day. But my dh and I have another fertility appt in Jacksonville, FL. It's about a 6 hr drive for us but it's suppose to be a top line place and in this area of Florida. We had that appt last month but that dr never ran ANY tests on me or my husband. My dh has never had his boys tested. hehehe. That's what he & I call them. LOL! I REALLY am believing with all my heart that God will bless us with a baby of our own but if for some reason we can't and after we run tests we will discuss more about the donor egg option. Have you ever considered doing that? We also are open to adoption but of course our hearts desire is to have one of our very own.

Scarlet-greg - Thank you for your prayers!!!!! I am praying for you too! I am glad to hear that af slowed down for you. I haven't had a bad af like that since I was a teenager. Since I've gotten older, af is usually heavy to med the first day and lightens up the next day. My af cycles usually last 3 to 4 days now. I completely relate to your comment about it almost destroying your faith after getting bfn month after month. I too have been and felt that way. Each month I have this little talk with myself and say that I'm not going to get my hopes up or even expect to get a BFP but then I feel bad for feeling that way. I try SOOOO hard to stay in faith and make all kinds of declarations that I will get my BFP but in doing so I get sucked in and my hopes up only to be shattered. I think it's ok to get discouraged and having feelings of giving up but the key is NOT TO GIVE UP. P.U.S.H - Pray until something happens.

I'd like to get everyone's opinion and see if this has happened to any of you. I mentioned the other day that on Sunday (cd 5), Monday (cd 6) and yesterday cd 7 I have had this achy sometimes sharps pains on my right lower side. I have felt it on the left too. Mostly on the right though. I read on the internet that it could be a cyst after o. I am hoping instead that it is or was implantation. Last night, it even hurt a little when I laid on my rt side in bed and last night when my dh and I were at Walmart doing some Christmas shopping and I bend down a bit to pick something up and it I got a sharp pain on my rt side. It surprised me when it happened, it didn't knock me over or anything but the pain was def there. Strange. Not sure what to think. Today though, I haven't had any of those sharp pains (yet) but it feels alittle sore and almost like something is there. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO praying that i'm pg but afraid to get my hopes up. Just wondering after reading about the cysts that it was or is that. Have anyone of you guys had that what I'm describing and did it mean you were pg? Thanks and I hope you all are having a blessed day!

Hey ladies

I pray that you all are doing well.

Just wanted to give you guys a quick update: I had a very dark opk yeasterday so I guess cd12 positive opk was the start of my surge and cd13 was the peek. I have not Oed yet. My temps have flatlined at 97.6 for the last 3 days. So I will have to wait until tommorow a.m. to see if I get a temp shift. My left ovary is still cramping off and on. I will check on you guys later on. Oh...opk was neg. today.

Well, af started. : ( and a week early even too. The last two cycles of mine have been 29 days. In the past, they have been 21. Well, I can't say that I'm not disappointed. I was REALLY hoping and praying that the pains I had been feeling the last couple of days was implantation. I just don't understand. I am trying to stay positive. But honestly, this is AWFUL! I even told my dh earlier today that I thought I was pg. And then by lunch I text him to tell him af came. He must think I'm losing it. Honestly, I feel at times I am. I REALLY could use some prayers right now! My dh (bless his heart) was so positive and encouraging when I told him af came. I am sooooooo grateful for him. Well, we have our fertility dr appt next month on the 10th. They plan to run tests so hopefully we will find out more then and get some encouraging results.

Hope u all are doing good. I will be praying for you all!

Mrsward so sorry AF showed her ugly head. I know how disappointing it can be I was the same way this month even Greg was sure I was pregnant and then of course AF showed up we were both disappointed, but Greg has been wonderful in keeping me going he keeps telling me we'll just try harder this cycle. It sounds like your DH is the same way its great that he is so encouraging to you. I'll continue to pray for you and I know God will bless you with your little miracle soon. Just hang onto his promise.

Good evening ladies. I hope everyone had a blessed day.

@Scarlet, thank you for your kind words and adding me to your circle of prayer. I truly appreciate it and need it. I'm so glad I decided to join this thread.

All of you ladies are super sweet and supportive. May God bless each and everyone do you with a baby bump soon!

@Mrsward, I'm so sorry AF arrived. I was hoping this month was the month for you but don't despair and definitely try not to stress over it. Stress is the enemy when you are trying to conceive. Try to think of AF as the start of something better-a more fertile cycle.

AFM, no we have not considered a donor egg or adoption. In fact, we have yet to see a fertility specialist. Our doctor said to just try the natural way, that it may take a little longer because we are a little older but that our eggs don't come with an expiration date and that there are tons of couples in their 20s having fertility issues. Nonetheless, we have decided that if nothing happens by year's that we will seek the help of a fertility specialist. We will see. I'm on CD10 and hoping to O early next week. Hoping and praying for the best!

At the risk of sounding as a marketer, I recommend that if you do have a minute that you check out this website: http://natural-fertility-info.com/preparing-for-conception-over-40.html. It has given me a lot of information and a lot of hope. All is not lost because we are trying to conceive in our 40s. I believe that we will blessed. In fact, I believe that we are already blessed as we have supportive husbands and each other.

Have a good night ladies. I will be praying for you and wishing you tons of baby dust.

Hello Ladies, well I wrote yesterday that af came yesterday. I have a question because I have had more of a brownish color in my blood and it's been VERY light. I do remember seeing sort of the same in color last cycle too. I know brown color usually means it's old blood but how can it be old since it is the start of my period. Does anybody know what this could mean if anything? I will definitely discuss this when I go to my re appt on 12/10 but until then I am wanting to know what's up. Today cd 2, it is virtually almost non-existence. I'm talking about af. I am REALLY worried that this is not a good sign and that it just means I'm approaching pre-menopause. What do you all think?

l also wanted to add that af came a week earlier than I was expecting so I would think or expect brownish color if my period was late but why would it be that color if it was a week early. Strange. For sure. Also, it honestly is very light so I have only had to wear a mini pad and it seems to only be present when I wipe. There is not much on the pad. Sorry. tmi. LOL! If any of you have had this happen to you or know why or what it is - please share. Thanks!
