It has been some time since I have visited this site. But every once in a while I will. I have SO enjoyed reading your comments in this group. I am 45 and have been ttc for a yr now with my hubby. To be honest with you all, a part of me gave up. It became so exhausting and depressing each month getting my hopes up only to be let down. I'm sure you all can relate. Anyway, I hope you all will keep me in your prayers & group. My hubby & I have an appt with a fertility specialist Nov 6th. Can I please ask you all to include us in your prayers as well? I would really appreciate it. I will pray for you all as well! : )
God Bless & I'm praying we all are blessed soon with our little miracles!

Hi Ladies
I have been on vacation so am just catching up. DH and I did not do so well this month I got really sick while we were in Ireland and missed the week but got the werk before so who knows maybe it worked. I have been finding my way back to prayer this month and am slowly feeling more at peace with things.
I gained 8 pounds on this trip so once I lose it I will try another cycle of clomid.
I pray that the lil beans hang on for those of you that got your bfp and for those that did not that you will soon get it.

Hi Mrsward - I'll gladly be praying for you and your dh! I can certainly understand how exhausting this journey can be. It's an emotional rollercoaster - and I never enjoyed rollercoasters anyway! May God bless you with peace and a deeper sense of His presence.

Tigerette - I'm sorry you got sick on vacation! I hope you were able to enjoy yourself anyway. I'm glad you're praying and feeling more at peace. My prayer life has definitely suffered over the last six months. At first I hurt so badly (emotionally) that I couldn't pray. Then I struggled through a valley of wondering if it even did any good. I am slowly able to bear myself to God again, but it can be a painful journey at times.

Thank you for your prayers Rebecca. I really appreciate it. You can never get enough prayer. It is so good to back on this site. I had to take a break from it for a few months. It honestly was bringing me down. Just last month I was 6 days late (I have never been late unless I was pg) anyway, I thought for sure I was pg only to be let down AGAIN. But, it is always nice to have a good support of people and especially ones that can relate to what your going thru emotionally and physically. So, I am thankful for this site and all the encouraging words! Do you mind me asking you how old you are and how long you have been ttc?

I don't mind at all. I'm 40, my dh is 52. We've been TTC since Jan. 2011. We have 3 children, 15, 10 and 7. I wanted more but my dh was worried he was too old, etc, so after our dd, I went on BC. Late in 2010 we moved to New England from NC (my dh is a pastor), and felt God was also calling us to get off BC all together, that He wanted us to turn the size of our family over to Him. Since then I've been pregnant twice. Miscarried in May/June of 2012 at 10 weeks, miscarried this March at 16 weeks. I also had an ectopic after our 1st child, then a miscarriage at 8 weeks, and another at 15 weeks before we had our 2nd child and then our daughter.

We've both been tested, our babies have been tested (when possible) and they've never been able to determine what's happening.

Sorry, didn't mean to write a book!

Rebecca, SOOOOOO sorry that af showed up this morning. She expected to show up on Sunday for me. Hopefully she will not come! : )
Thank you for giving me some detail about your journey. I am SOOOOOO sorry that you have had those losses. I have never experienced a miscarriage. I can't even begin to imagine. I have two children of my own from a previous marriage. My ds is 19 yrs old and my dd is 13 yrs old. Some of my friends think I'm crazy for wanting a child at my age but my dh and I married last year in October and we would LOVE to have one of our own.
You know, I heard someone in church recently say this and I loved it. They were speaking to a woman who had a miscarriage and she wanted a baby so bad and this person said to her that the fact that she conceived at all said to them that she was meant to have a baby. She just needed to not give up and trust God with the timing. So, I don't know if you agree with that but as I was reading your story that came back to my memory. God Bless!

Hey ladies.

I am thanking God for such wonderful women on this forum. I pray that God make us examples of what prayer can do when you are ttc at "our age" (40 +)

I read all of you guys updates and I am feeling eccited for all of us. Once we all get our bfp. Let's stay together during the rest of our journey.

Afm: I think I am ovulating as I am typing this. I'm having pain on my left side. I have a busy weekend. But I am going to keep checking for you guys updates. Have a good one. Keep us in your prayers and I will do the same.
