Poor girl. I would've had them prescribe the meds by now...or had a D&C. I could never have gone through that as long as you have been. :-(

I'm leaving work shortly to get the dude from school and take him to the Dr. I hope they don't have to use invasive measures to remove that one wart. But I'll keep my spirits up so he doesn't worry more. Poor dude.

Hey girly-Q! Whew! It's been a busy week or so!!

I was able to get some more stuff done for the shower.

I painted these wooden letters and hung them from the ribbon so we could hang them on the wall at the shower and then I can reuse them at home in baby's room.

I went to a shower yesterday at the same facility where I'm having mine. We have our Christmas parties there every year (for Barry's side of the family). But it was good to see it decorated for a shower. I came up with even more ideas. :-) We can only use tape (scotch or masking) on the walls. No push pins, no nails, no other tape. I'm kind of bummed about that because I have no idea where I'm going to hang the clothesline for the onesies everyone is decorating. I have a month to come up with something. lol

As for food, it sucked at yesterdays shower so I really need to be a little more creative than they were. lol They had chicken salad and tuna salad sandwiches, which was ok...except that by the time I got through the food line, they were gone. Then they had chips, bean dip and some veggies and dip. That was it!! She had about 50 people there too. I'll have slightly more than that. But holy cow. The girls at my table had to dress me up like a baby with toilet paper. I got 3rd place. lol They put a onesie and diaper on me, a bonnet and made a rattle. It was cute...but I didn't get any pictures.

I've been getting really bad heart burn lately. Last night I posted something on facebook to see if my friends and family could give me some ideas for remedies. I tried a spoonful of mustard. That was terrible! It was around 10pm and the heart burn didn't let up until about 1am. Won't do that again! I ran out of Tums and didn't feel like running to the store so late. I'm stopping on the way home today!!

I finally was able to do breakfast with the girl that is going to be watching the baby for us when I go back to work. She is such a sweetie. She's only charging me $100/wk and said if we fall on hard times one week, we'll work it out. She's CPR certified, a former teacher and EMT and has had FBI background checks. She has 3 boys ranging from 10-17 and only wants to watch one child in her home. She wants to have a one on one relationship because she thinks it's better for the child. I love her thinking. :-) But it's a good thing there are a dozen other babies being born around the same time that he can play with as he grows up. He'll need the social skills too. lol If he's anything like me, it won't be a problem. lol His dad on the other hand, is something of a social misfit. He has social anxiety and doesn't really go out of his way to make friends or anything. He's nice to everyone and a great guy, don't get me wrong. But he's awkward in social situations. Self conscious. I don't know.

Anyway, how was your weekend?

Those letters are so cute!!! You are so crafty girl!!! It looks really really well done & that blue color you picked out just pops!! You could sell that stuff on etsy too...or ebay. Hmmm~ lol

There are these self adhesive hook things that I saw at the hardware store and they say that there is no marking on the wall when you remove them. They claim to hold a bit of weight....I wonder if you could use that for the "clothsline" and then you can just remove it :) Maybe those hooks would be at Target or Wal-mart too.

That's disappointing about the food...I guess you don't know if people are taking seconds or whatever...I always liked when they had that fizzy punch...like the sorbet and seven up thing...delicious!!

My friend said the other day that her mother in law wanted to throw her a shower and she really didn't want like 50 showers....I get to go to that one so I am officially not planning one anymore. That's okay....I'm in the middle of my statistics class, so I was wondering how I was going to do it all.

Hmmmm. With my first baby I had lots and lots of heartburn....I just remember walking around with rolaids...even water gave me heartburn. I don't remember it getting any better during the last half of the pregnancy. Ya....Tums or Rolaids is a must....poor girl.

Your babysitter sounds like a dream. One on one with flexibility and a reasonable charge?!? You must have had some really good karma coming your way . That's so nice...what a relief.

We had so much going on this last weekend. We went out and had pizza with one of our friends who is moving to Hawaii on Saturday. It was my dad's birthday on Sunday so we traveled about an hour to visit....the weather was really really beautiful!!!

I have to check my hcg on Friday....I'm supposed to follow it to zero and was supposed to have it drawn last week....but I waited so that I don't have to get a million more blood draws. I'm still lightly bleeding. Can't wait for it to quit. Started on March 22...I know it takes awhile, but holy moly.

Girl...none of my miscarriages lasted that long. And the bleeding came with fury and was gone in a week or so. I can't even believe it's taking so long for you. You poor thing. :-( xoxoxo

I failed my one hour glucose test. My sugar was REALLY high....although the nurse didn't give me the numbers. I have to go back in this Saturday at 7am for the 3 hour test. Not looking forward to it! I'm supposed to watch my sugar and carbs (a few extra carbs a day) for the next 3 days and then fast from 7pm friday until I test. I really hope I don't have gestational diabetes. Baby is already measuring bigger than he should, but it's not concerning, yet. But both my boys were big and I didn't have GD with them. :-( *sigh.

I finished the bags for the popcorn last night. They are simple but cute. There will be a few on each table for snacking.

This morning, ninja baby was on a roll! I got a little video. I'll see if I can find a way to post a link.

If that doesn't work I'll try something else :-)

I passed my 3 hour glucose test!!! So happy about that. Caleb had his Sr. Prom. Talk about a tear jerker. :-( But they looked great and had a great time.
