Well, I don't know where I'm at, but I definitely feel for all you ladies who have been trying for a while! This is only my first cycle since surgery and I want to pull my hair out already! ;)

Treats - Yes, I would say we definitely have the prayer area covered! ;)

Angel - How you doing sweetie?

yep I would have to agree the prayer area being covered. Nice to be in a group of ladies and all the prayers for each other :)

Red-I am hanging in there trying to keep myself busy and not over think everything or keep analyzing everything trying to figure what is going on. I have a stash of internet cheapy tests coming and should be here Tues. And have an appt for more blood work on Friday. On CD 46, so just confused as to whats going on, my cycles are usually 26-28 days. And not a bit of spotting of any kind except a couple weeks ago, which was just one night and a tiny bit of pink tinged CM. I know my next cycle should start on Sat the 8th, so will see what happens.

Right there with you Angel! I'm on day 36 and no sign of her! I know the surgery could have messed up my cycle, but the first half of it seemed to go right on schedule. Periods have been normal since I started taking Vitex Lupus had them really screwed up for a while. I'm calling the doc on Tues and see if they want to do blood work. According to FF, I should be Oing on Thurs so starting tonight (as long as I feel up to it) we are going to "start getting busy" ;) - this of course is if I'm not already pg and even so more fun for me! lol Keeping you in prayers!

red-yeppers, darn Lupus can really mess things up that's for sure. but I have been rather lucky that since I started getting my cycle back about 6 mths or so ago when our youngest finally started night weaning and sleeping through the night, I have been pretty regular, this is highly out of the norm for me. That's what we are doing, my ob is doing another hcg beta on Friday, so just trying not to go nuts until then. Heck have to make sure ya cover all those bases and have fun at it :) Can't hurt, lol. What's funny is my lil drama queen (14 yr old daughter) is wigging out because if I am preggers, she is going to be a new big sissy and an aunt all in a mth of each other, lol

Hello everyone,
I am coming out of lurking mode to seek some advice.
I am 41, SO is 38 and we've been TTC for our first child since Feb of this year. I know that eight months is not a long time when TTC but after another temp plunge this morning I think it is time to get to a Dr and get some tests.
I am fairly positive I am ovulating regularly (OPKs BBT).

I don't have a regular GP so will have to go to someone I have no relationship with and was wondering if you could tell me exactly what they should be testing for. I would like my FSH levels tested, estrogen and progesterone levels, sperm test for the boy...anything else I should be insisting on? Or that I could suggest?

Sorry to just jump into the thread but you all seem to know what is going on and I could use a bit of camaraderie in what is turning into a frustrating experience.
I feel silly for trying not to get pregnant all those years now that I don't seem to be able to...

Thank you

Hi Noxidsl! Welcome! I have absolutely no advice for you, so I'll leave that for the other more knowledgeable ladies.

Well ladies, DH and I moved my parents out today!! They are completely out! If I'm pregnant this month, I will be shocked. Let's just say my DH is a rock star. Who else, after my father knocks on our door while we are BDing (and I get out of bed and answer), has the mental ability to keep going! Wow! At least we'll have a story if this month produces a baby! :-)

I'm either 3 or 4 DPO. I've had tender BBs since O. I'm also having a few other symptoms like pulling in my pelvic region, so I am hopeful. But then again, every month I have some sort of symptom. This time, the tender BBs so early on is getting me excited. I can't believe I have so long to wait though. I've got to stay busy, I've got to stay busy, I've got... Ugghh!

Baby dust to you all and of course, prayers are said for this group nightly.

-Faith

Hi Noxids, I am 37 and have been trying for our 1st for about 4 yrs. I know what u mean about feeling silly about waiting so long and now not having any luck. I am with a fertility specialist now I would have them do an internal sono thats when they started getting to the root of my problems, they found polups blocking my tubes and a large mass that ended up being fibroids 6 to be exact not to mention endometriosis. I have had surgey for all and now back on fertility drugs and IUI's. I did have to go for other tests but it all started with the internal sono. Good luck to u!!!

Welcome Noxids :) I'm not completely sure as I haven't had to go through all that other than hormone levels being checked to make sure I wasn't going into early menopause. Thoughts and prayers for you that they can figure out what's going on.

Faithbarnes- Sweet baby Jesus I think I just peed my britches laughing so hard, LOL. I feel you there but usually my hubby is done for if one of the kids knock at the door or if he hears any noise outside our door, LOL. I can't even imagine one of our parents at the door, lmao.
