Good luck to all you ladies either waiting to test or waiting to O! Just wanted to pop in and say that I am STILL stalking you all! :)

Hey ladies! Just checking in. CD 4 here. Living the dream. ha. This part of the cycle is pretty boring. I've been doing pretty good at eating better. Hoping this month will be it.

Has anyone considered doing an IUI without meds, or has anyone done one? I'm interested to know the price difference and to get your thoughts!

WhileImWaiting- hey cycle buddy! I didn't know you could do IUI without meds....but then again I need the meds to O. Guess I just answered my question as to why I didn't know you could do that..HAHAHA. Its Friday what can I say! I am with you on the waiting to O part being very boring.

AFM-I have recently started DH on a multivitamin and zinc to hopefully increase the abundance of those little swimmer. I have also been having him eat better, but I usually cook so he hasn't really notice ;) He is also on a schedule, but AGIAN he doesn't realize it. I am just hoping this works and he doesn't have to see a specialist too. DH is really self conscious and this would be hard for him. I am doing all this in preparation of our post coital test this month. We had this test done the month we got pregnant with DS. It showed DH count was low.

So the Doc basically told us that DH needed more testing as he may have a low sperms count but it's right at the cusp so it may have just been a fluke. After the next test we get to find out if we get to do just clomid or if we have to go to an IUI. So still waiting to find out what's next for us. DH isn't sold on the idea of doing IUIs so we'll see where that goes in the next 6 months.

Hope everyone is having a better day than I am. Also if anyone has any ideas in how to get sperm count up naturally it would be greatly appreciated. The doc pretty much dismissed the idea out of hand.

While - my friend was doing IUI with clomid but her insurance was not covering IUIs so she was paying $500 for the IUI in Connecticut and separately paid for clomid.
You can do IUI without clomid for sure.

@Margie My DH got told he needed 3 days 'build up' in order to get an accurate result from the sperm test. Acupuncture supposedly can help with sperm production, although I'm not sure where they would put the needles ð??³. Spinach and folic acid can help too, my DH takes double the amount if folic acid that I do in order to help his swimmers.

Well FF confirms me as ovulated on cd 17. I think this site will say 18. So which one do I go with? Am I 3 dpo or 2 dpo? Anyone here use both sites to chart bbt? At any rate we bd a couple times in the fertile window. So I'm excited and will be going stir crazy in the tww.

Kernishp - Yeah DH got told 48-72 hours and he barely made it to 50 and people kept interrupting him while he was giving a sample. you'd think that they'd send them somewhere relatively quiet to do their thing. I keep wondering if all of that combined to give him the lower reading. I'll let him know about the folic acid and spinach. it'll give him a place to start.

AFM I took one of my cheap tests that have a very low sensitivity and it turned out BFN. not surprised all the reviews of them said people had to be at least past their period to get a BFP. Still with what the doctor said yesterday I'm a bit disheartened. Temps are still up and I'm not truly out until the shows. On the bright side, I just found out the cost for us to do an IUI is very affordable. All our drugs are covered and it's just the actual IUI day that we have to pay for which was only a couple hundred. It will take some budgeting but it's manageable.

So I had my period Oct 20 then spotted on cd 14 15 up until after my lap should I count that as cd 1Or should I still go with cd 27
