Hey ladies!

JLH 22 is huge! They can trigger anything above 17mm from what I understand. That baby is ready to go! ;) Glad everything looked good! Can't wait to see what happens next!

bluerose sounds like you have a productive week ahead! Scary weather up there! Glad you're okay. If you have to get a colp don't worry, it's really not bad. After my colp the HPV totally went away on its own, basically. Between the biopsy and time, it really is an effective test/procedure!

SMH yikes what a night! Glad the shots went well though! Hang in there lady, it will get better :)

AFM Had my u/s this morning and they found an ovulation site, meaning I already ovulated. It was 21x14mm so they think it was fairly recently. Went back on my chart and marked my positive OPK day as my O day, so I'm 3 DPO now I guess? I could be upset about it but I'm just glad to have an answer. Lining was 7.6mm which they said was great. Apparently 6mm is the minimum that can support pregnancy. They will switch me to tamoxifen (spelling?) next cycle which is another ovulation drug, but it actually THICKENS the lining as opposed to femara which just has no ill effect on the lining (unlike clomid which thins lining). I will also get follicle tracking u/s next month starting around CD 12 so that we don't miss it again! The doc is super optimistic that IUI will work for us. Good thing, too, because IVF is pricey as hell! ;)

JLH: yes a 22mm folicle is beautiful. When i was stimulating they were looking for them to be at least 17 mm so 22 is great!! Good luck!!1

Luv: IVF can be very pricey i was just fortunate enough my insurance covered it once we hit our deductible and paid for our fertility meds they covered 100%. Glad they are going to do u/s monitoring this time. that really helped me when i did the iui. I was so afraid to miss it with the monitoring it took a lot of the stress off as to when everythiing was going to happen. Glad they are very optimistic about the iui. I really hope things happen for you and soon.!!

AFM: Relaxing at home for a little bit DH and i are heading to the casino in a little bit. its about and hour and half drive and we are spending the night there and coming home in the am. Then it will be down to business of cleaning out what is going to be the baby's room while we are on vacation so hopefully we can get ready to start painting in there very soon. go for my next ob apt next week and the week after the US. I am starting to get impatient over here.

Luv, I am happy that you got answers and looking forward to your next cycle, especially with the great news from the doc!! I think the u/s are good so it shows us where we are and how things are going. The nurse did mention the trigger shot again this cycle and they gave me a prescription for it last time, but I ended up ovulating on my own so we didn't fill it...

Amag, Hope you have an amazing day and evening :) Sounds like y'all are making the most of your time and that's great!! Do you have ideas for the nursery? Thanks for the feedback it means a lot!!

AFM, still awaiting to hear back from the nurse, which should be any moment now. Not sure what to expect but feeling pretty good still. The dh and I have been bd'g a bit so I am trying to remain calm...lol. It's really warming up here and I am so over the house, just ready to be finished and moved. They shipped us the wrong tile yesterday and was notified today that the door handles for my interior doors are on back order until SEPT and the end of it at that...ugh. Why can't things ever be simple?!

Luv: Hope you caught that elusive eggy! I looked up Tamoxifen...found some pretty interesting info... www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov â?º ... â?º J Hum Reprod Sci â?º v.4(2); May-Aug 2011. Who would have thought that based on what it was intended for it could be helpful for 'O'. I printed the info from the site and will discuss it with my Dr (yup...I'm poaching, shamelessly). I already have little to no CM...Clomid would make matters worse. Thanks

Amag: Have fun while you can. Wihen your bundle of joy arrives, entertainment will be at a premium!

JLH: Things sound good on your side! Hope you wont have to fill the script and you will O on your own. Have fun trying to catch it! If we dont see much of you over the next few days, we will understand.

SMH: So sorry your pumpkin is reacting to her shots. Hope things get better soon.

Great news!! My thin-prep pap showed no signs of HPV and no abnormal cells! I will have to repeat it in December, however. I have two more to do within 6 months of each other after that.

Luv: spoke with my Dr re ur new drug. She said she wants me to do 4 cycles of Clomid first. If that fails she will send me to the RE and they can decide on it since they would have more experience. How was your CM on Clomid?

Jada: What's your CM like on Clomid?

AFM: Quite pleased with my pap results. Collected my prescription for Clomid. Will start taking it next cycle as today is cd7. Concerned about the side effects...especially where persons say it dries up their cm...I already have precious little and certainly not EWCM. Overall, this whole process is so darn frustrating but I will keep going for a while longer.

@janise: great news!! If I were you id pick up some preseed lubricant. It's Sperm friendly. Be careful though, a little goes a loooooooong ways!

SMH: Thanks for the suggestion! I will.

janise yay for your pap results!! Clomid did dry up my CM somewhat. On Femara I had much more CM. The main problem on Clomid though was my super-thin uterine lining, which makes pregnancy 100% impossible. Make sure they check your lining if they want to put you on Clomid, or do a midcycle u/s when you're on Clomid to make sure it gets to a good thickness. Agree with SMH to do the Preseed, it comes with applicators so you can put it inside (fill to about 1 1/2 on the applicator, more gets messy haha). Another thing that might help is making sure you are well hydrated, drinking about a gallon of water a day. I have much more CM when I'm hydrated!

JLH sorry about the house stuff! Hopefully it comes in earlier than they think. Dying to hear what the doc said yesterday!

amag yay for the baby's room! Are you going to do a gender neutral thing or will you pick a color after the u/s? :) I agree that monitoring is way more reassuring. I like the idea of regular u/s!

AFM not much happening! I have a local half marathon on Sunday that oughta be miserable. The overnight low will be 70 freaking degrees, with scattered thunderstorms. That means hot and humid during the race. I am training for it but still. I have also been dropping weight quickly and am down to 157 lb! I'm thinking my thyroid might be in hyperdrive since my temps have been so high and I've been losing weight quickly.

Luv: A gallon of water a day?! Don't know...will have to try though (what choice do I have, lol). i will make a note to remember to speak with my Dr re my lining as well. Thanks! Re your weight...you sound super skinny now! I'm 150 at 5' 6 1/2". Congrats

janise I know it's a ton of water! Takes some getting used to. You might pee a lot, haha! But all in all, it's a fairly easy thing to do. Thanks for the compliment too! I am trying to be as healthy as humanly possible for possible pregnancy. You are no doubt a gorgeous creature! :)
