Hey All!

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I mentioned before I've been searching for a new job.....and got one! I had a second interview last week and was offered the position later that afternoon! I start in two weeks! YAY! I've been prepping and getting things in order...getting my youngest set up in daycare. All of this is a welcome detraction from the 2ww.

Go Calvin! He’s lusting after his Queen as he should!

Jandei – Wow! You have AWESOME benefits! Those are hard to come by…So exciting!

39 – I’ll be checking out that website. Thanks!

Today I'm 7dpo...not many symptoms. Mild cramping and slight breast tenderness. Feels more like burning/hot sensation, and creamy CM. I'm not getting excited. Lately I seem to have all of this every month.
Have a good rest of the week!

Mom2Ty Congratulations on your new job! I hope it is something you will enjoy.
I received a job offer today and it's a new field for me so I am excited and nervous. Don't have my start date but I hope it's next Monday.

I hope everyone checks out that site because they have fertility meditations and I believe in the benefits of meditation and visualization.

Pink sending good vibes your way. Miss you dear!

Mom2- Congrats on the job! That's great news!

How is everyone doing?? I've been trying to keep very busy during the 2ww. Daytrips to the beach, relaxing and running for the kids afterschool activities. Time is flying by.

I'm 8dpo today, not feeling like implantation occurred yet. Sore boobies are always my big tell-tale. I'm hoping to wake up with really tender boobies tomorrow morning.. lol.. who says these things?? only us ladies TTC.

I was exhausted and fell asleep by 9pm last night... I'm guessing that is more related to being up early and busy than anything else.. but who knows? Holding off for testing... soo difficult..

Best wishes and baby dust to you all!

Jandei. How are you feeling? Do you get crampy after an iui? Does the procedure hurt? What exactly is involved? Think it's an avenue I might look into.

39. Will have a look at that web site, thanks. The world we live in is so scary, if we aren't getting poisons and hormones in our food then we are getting it through chemicals in everything we use, touch or store food in. It's a wonder any of the population can get pregnant naturally. Infertility has gone up over 30% in the last 10 or 20 years for the under 30's, I find it appalling that our governments don't protect us more. Sorry rant over.
on your new job, things are starting to click into place with you which is great to hear. What are you going to be doing?

Calvin. Sounds like you are having so much fun, maybe all the relaxed bd'ing will turn into a positive. I'm sure your walking on air feeling all sexy and loved! It couldn't come at a better time for you.

Mom. on your new job!!!! Great news. Think you are the first one to test next, wouldn't it be great to get your bfp before you start your new job. When are you going to try hold out testing to?

Meg. Day trips to the beach sound so nice, it's cold and miserable over here. Looks like you are a day ahead of mom at 8dpo, wonder who will give in and test first? Always more fun to go through the tww excitement for others, wishing you both a matching pair of bfp' s!!!!

Mom, congrats on the job Good you'll keep busy in the tww

Kerzie, gonna try to be quick and give you as much detail as possible. The procedure itself is a piece of cake - to me it was less invasive than a pap spear. No cramping at all afterwards you can even have intercourse in the evening (recommended after your last IUI). Leading up to the IUI was the big pain in the behind. I had to have all the blood work done. FSH, AMH, LH, thyroid, vid D, hep C, estradiol, progesterone (a bunch of times), etc. (I'm sure I missed something there). Sonohysterogram is what actually really hurt. Not the actual procedure but afterwards... I couldn't walk till next day, I had enormous cramps. All this is just a one time thing and it may seem like a lot but most can be accomplished in 1 visit. DH had to have a full sperm analysis too. Then, the ultrasounds/monitoring and blood work cd 3,8,10,12 they watch the follicles and if they are growing. Each visit is like 10 minutes long - follicle check, blood work and off you go. They schedule appts for this super early (mine was at 6AM) as most people have to go to work. Once they see minimum follicle size of 18mm (20mm is ideal) they either tell you to take the HCG shot or if you get the LH serge on your own then they do the IUIs. It's really cool that on each IUI they show you the post wash sperm count and motility. My clinic likes to see 9 million count POST wash, anything lower the odds really drop. So this was supposed to be short lol but since you are thinking about it I thought I'd give you as much info as I would want to know

I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility as all my tests were actually better than my doc expected for my age. DH had great sperm count. I really thought I would uncover what is wrong but at the same time glad they didn't. The only thing left is maybe my ph which wasn't tested but the IUI should take care of that.

Kerzie, I just wanted to add... As I was getting all those tests done I thought to myself that those tests are really important. If they did uncover some issue at least I would know what to correct. The emotions we go through every month and to know that something simple as a few tests can actually get to the root of the problem. I was a little vid D deficient. I did start taking vid D again and co-q-10 and actually didn't have spotting last month. Just knowing what the heck is going on "in there" automatically makes you feel better
