The EPO Experiment Chapter 3

Since we filled 15 pages already, it's time to begin a new thread and to welcome anyone interested in joining our supportive and hilarious group of epo researchers.

For those who are new, I think it's appropriate to give a little spiel:
EPO is supposed to help create more cm when taken from cycle days 1- Ov. Stop taking it from Ov until your next cycle, which we all hope to ride through with warmer temps, high high cervixes and a BFP, not to mention love and support.
Some folk switch to flax oil after Ov, but some of us just quit and hope for the best.

So let's hear your personal experience with the epo journey to success!

Here's to another chapter!

Faith- I couldn't agree with you more. Men are dogs sometimes...and like you said, it's not like we arent meeting their "needs". I really hate you had to go through that with your DH but I do admire you for being able to stay and put it past you. I don't think I could have.

I try very hard to over look DHs slip ups, not only porn but in general...it's hard sometimes because it makes me feel like less of a woman and unloved. And I do blame it on his parents a little. His dad was kind of abusive and his mom ran her own personal sex shop (selling sex toys, magazines, movies, ect...) and was on crack. I think DH has told me at one point she was, what she told him, a "sex-therapist". Which brings me to another point, I can't stand my MIL. When I was pregnant the first time (before I M/C) DH called his mom to tell her and she tried to talk him into leaving me!!! Then the day after our wedding she tried to get us divorced...ugh I just can't stand her. Am I the only one who has a physco MIL? And the bad thing is, I've never even done anything to this woman. She acts like she likes me to my face but is horrible behind my back. Sigh. In-laws. SMH.

God Shea, your MIL sounds like Jim Jones's mother (Love and Hip Hop). What a Biatch!

Thanks God I had really good female role models the earlier part of my life. Every one of my aunts are strong women and are the bread winners - while they may be annoying they did teach me to make sure that if anything was to happen to my spouse that I be "set" and able to carry my own. And I have definitely done that. I triple what my husband makes.

I look at it like this - it's easier to just stay with him. I guess I've become conditioned to the BS and now just live for myself and my son and eventually the baby that I will be blessed with. I don't have time for all the BS and have learned to ignore it. Don't get me wrong I love my husband and he is a great guy (when he wants to be) but it's not about him anymore - its about me and Shaun.

Heaven help us all. :) It's so amazing the group that we have, the support, the love, the trust and the overall kindness. I love all of you and it would be so nice to raise a glass of (hopefully we will all have a reason to) of nonalcoholic sparkling cider together and have a grand ole time together, face to face. But for now I celebrate each and everyone of you... with my coffee cause it's morning and it's my first cup and i need it even if it's decaf.

Bug: I'm so sorry I missed this earlier but HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR FRIEND! I do hope you had a wonderful celebration!

Bee: I hope you're feeling amazing!

KJ: You are in my prayers and I send you peaceful vibes. I pray that you can get through this tough time with your head held high and your heart not so heavy.

Faith: you are a very strong woman and smart one too - I loved how you said it let him off easy if you left, and I'm proud of you for thinking of yourself and your son.

Shea: Don't know how I could handle a MIL like that - wow. I don't have a MIL (she passed over 20 yrs ago) but I have SIL that provide me with trials, so I guess it's all balanced out. lol. Bless your heart.

AFM: Well, I'm 12DPO and no AF this morning. CP is HMC and the way i'm looking at it, I may be off a day or two from my O date since I didn't OPK or BBT around that time. I did break down the last few days and BBT so I could prepare myself for AF. Temp did drop a little this AM but I'll just have to wait it out. If she doesn't show by Saturday, Ill test then.

Hugs Love and Sticky Beans!

Hi ladies!

Yikes!! I missed quite a bit!!

Kj - Aw sweetie it broke my heart to read your story. I am sure you have already thought through all the different senarios. I didnt have time to read through everything everyone said in response, but I think marriage councelling it always a good option before you decide to leave. My sister and her hubby went through some pretty rough times and even separated at one point, but marriage concelling definitely helped, and they are back together and happy. If nothing comes of it, you can always leave after, ya know? But I think you might end up regreting it if you dont try every avenue before ending things.

I really hope that you can work things out and get you little baby soon. But if not, remember that you are an amazing woman and someday you will be happy again.

Joy

Wow, Joy. I thought I had it busy, but mine doesn't compare! I hope you have a lot of fun with all your celebrating! Yay!

Hope everyone is so happy it's FRIDAY!!! Enjoy your day and count your blessings!

AFM: 13DPO. No AF, yet. Temp is still up, actually went up .01 degree. Tested, but BFN. So, trying not to read into it. I may be only 12 DPO or maybe 14 DPO. What ever the case, I'm confused and surprised about the BFN, but I will prepare myself for the witch to show, just in case. I didn't sleep worth the second part of the night and got up early too, so that could be an issue all around. CP is Very High, closed and medium to soft (can't really touch) So, don't know, very curious and I'll keep you posted!

Good Morning Ladies:

Sorry, I was MIA yesterday - I has a treatment team meeting with DYFS for one of our young adults who lives at a group home for teen mothers. UGH! That was the worst. This poor girl has grown up in the system her whole life! Now she has a month old baby boy (who looks exactly like how my son did when he was that old).

Today I get to meet with a 16yo Japaneese (sp?) fugative and try to get him to turn himself in. This is when I love my job.

Anyway how is everyone today? What are the plans for the weekend?

My temp is finally dropping - thank god - I was getting worried there for a minute. My OPKs are getting darker (not positive yet) everyday - YAY!

I can't wait to go work out tonight! And to start painting my son's new room. We had the attic converted into this awesome bedroom for my son. It has 4 skylights and Pergo floors. It's awesome! And just think when I'm too old to walk up the stairs it will finally be mine! LOL!

Hi girls,

Faith, I'm hoping you get a strong positive O soon, and good for you for keeping up with the workout! Feels great doesn't it?

Ott, hang in there sweetie! boo to the negative test, but I'm hoping the AF stays clear for you :)

Joy, I'm glad you're partying it up this weekend. 'Tis the season! I'm feeling fine thanks, and I'll go into more detail below...

Shea, Have I been calling you Liz?? Ah! I mixed you up with Liz from the old days! So sorry! xo

Kj, How are you doing today sweetheart?

Afm~ I just called my Senseis and told them about my BFP because I haven't been to practice since I found out. I figure with a martial art, its best for people to know about a pregnancy up front, especially if I want to continue practicing in some capacity without the falls. It feels nice to share the news, but I'm super nervous about this lil' bean sticking. The full moon even has me anxious because my periods usually line up with the pull of the moon. Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to relax about this?? thx

Anyway, I had a successful visit with my mom the other day, where success equals not telling her yet ;) I just want to have another few weeks before sharing with anyone else.

Symptoms these days: No real nausea yet, although some mornings I can feel it coming, but then I eat and it goes away. One morning I took my vitamins on an empty stomach, and while walking the pup a half hour later I had to stop and breathe for a while.

Cramps. Most of the time mild cramps on the right side, but just now am having some pangs on the left.

Heartburn started today. Hormones slowing my digestion down?

And lastly, OUCH my Nips are sore! And they sick out all the time! I can even see them through my layers of sweaters when the house is cold! LOL

Anyway, I'm going to have some nettle/cramp bark tea and watch TV for a while.

Have a great weekend everone,
xoxo Bee

Whoa-o-o here she comes.... Watch out girls she'll tear you up! Whoa-o-o here she comes, she's a bad witch!
Ok, so that's what I was singing in my head this morning as I saw that my bbt majorly dropped and I'm have AF cramps. Ugh. So sad, bummed, disappointed and irritated. Hopefully a hot cup of coffee and a hot shower will take care of things. She hasn't shown yet, but she'll be here today. UGH!!! Right in time for the Christmas Party!

She's a mean one, that witch! What a grinch!
lol

Have an amazing blessed day, everyone!
