What do you ladies think of the OPK I just took? The control looks red and the test line looks purple, but one doesn't look any lighter or darker than the other. Please share what you think!

mommaforthe4thtime - I don't know anything about lining but the 2 mature follicles sound really promising maybe you'll be momma4the4&5thtime

jacksonwest - I think your test is definatly positive and maybe the test line is purple because the result is so strong it's taken more of the dye?
It happens sometimes on HPTs as well if you're got a lot of pregnancy hormone

Momma, Yay for two follicles! Sounds promising! Last cycle my lining was only 6.5 and she said normal is around 8 so 10.9 sounds wonderful!

Jill, It's crazy that you are still there and yet don't have much of a clue as to whats wrong! Did you say before that you were in for seizures? Have you still been having those? I hope you get some information soon.

Ellie, I decided this month to skip the OPK's too. I don't see a point in wasting money like that when I almost never got a positive one them! I know what you mean about having to convince DH to BD one demand. I think DH and I should have done it last night but after laying in bed for a little bit he called the dog up and I guess decided he wasn't up to it! Oh well I guess!

Joy, I would totally have a countdown on my phone letting me know how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds! I'm so excited for you!

I can't scroll back any farther so if I missed commenting on something major, I am sorry! It was a busy weekend for me and even though I read often, I am having trouble remembering everything!

AFM, got the call this afternoon... I have TWO healthy follicles on my right ovary and they wanted me to trigger tonight and then come in for the IUI tomorrow. But of course this weeks is the the ONE time DH makes plans for during the day on Tuesday! He usually has Tuesday and Wednesday mornings off. So luckily the scheduling nurse talked to the other nurse and they decided it was ok to wait till Wednesday! Tomorrow I have to go for my annual physical and because I work in daycare I am supposed to get an TB test done. Yup, going to try and see if my doctor will hold off until I am not going through all this TTC business because I really don't feel it's a good idea to be purposely injecting myself with tuberculosis while trying to make a baby! Hopefully she agrees with me! Now on to the TWW after Wednesday !

My test came back negative for pregnancy so they did an X-ray instead of an ultrasound. But I swear gimme a few days and I'll have a bfp.

Joy, oops, yeah I guess 7 months huh!? LOL. Time has gone by so quickly. I'm so, so, so glad you heard the heartbeat and you get to try for a real u/s soon. Please keep us updated, and I am praying for the rest of your pregnancy and thanking God that you've gotten to this point! Your story never ceases to amaze me.

AFM - Last week I had what I think was O pain from Sunday night until Wednesday. It got more intense Monday/Tuesday mid-day, then let up after I was able to 'go' to the bathroom and such. Didn't go away completely until Thursday morning. Hoping that's a good sign? AF is scheduled to arrive Saturday. I feel very bloated, and my breasts are very sore! I'm not anticipating any this month as my DH and I barely made the window. We'll see, though. I'm not sure how common sore breasts are this early in the game. EDIT: How funny - when I posted I saw on my signature that a common symptom for 7dpo is sore breasts

Hey ladies

just did my citizenship test and passed!! FYI I'm english but living in Australia and want to get an Australian passport! so fingers crossed all else goes well and i get my full citizenship soon!

TTC wise, just waiting for AF and specialist appointment (20th May and 24th May!). Doubt very much that anything has happened this cycle as I think O happened on the 6th or 7th which is 5-6 days after DH left. A tiny chance yes but not holding my breath! Not sure whether to take the Soy Isoflavones next cycle or leave it to what ever the specialist says, what do you think?

bumble - does DH have to be there for the IUI? does he give a sample on the day that they use or has he already donated? just curious as that may be something I have to do as my DH is away for two weeks at a time so artificial insemination may be the next step! trying not to second guess what the specialist may say but also want to be prepared for what they say!

jackson, looks pretty positive to me! did you take any more after that one? Mine got even darker after the one i would have considered positive!!
