Since then I have been rushed to the hospital 3 times for excessive bleeding (once via ambulance cause I passed out)
I have had 2 emergency D&C's, 2 Folley Ballooons, 3 blood transfusions of 2 bags each, & a Hysteroscopey. (Not to be confused with a "HysterECTAMY")

I Finally got back to TTC in Jan/Feb 2012 and on March 21st I got my BFP!
I am currently about 7 weeks pregnant!

Jill, I have been very lucky with this whole journey as my insurance through work does cover a bunch of it. I have 6 IUI cycles for the lifetime of my insurance policy covered. But if it takes me 6 cycles to get pregnant, I can never do that again for another child unless we pay out of pocket. Which we can't do. My insurance does not cover IVF at all. So if we go through all of our IUI cycles with nothing to show for it then we are going to put all of our money towards adopting because at least that way we will get a child eventually. I would rather spend the money and wait it out than get my hopes up for something so expensive when it might not work either. So just try to take things one day at a time. I know it's easier said than done. I'm already thinking about my next cycle and doing the injectables instead of focusing on my current cycle which could work. But good luck! I think my fertility clinic has a payment plan for IVF but I am not sure. Maybe you can find someplace like that if you need to go that road?

Me: Alicia (29) ~ DH: Patrick (29) TTC #1 Since August 2009 with PCOS 1st & 2nd (March & May 2012) IUI Cycles w/ Clomid = BFN's 6/24/12 - 3rd IUI cycle w/ Gonal-F and Lupron. IUI on 7/9. TWINS! Born 2/11/13 Back on the NTNP train as of September 2013 hoping for a boy someday!

No time to respond to everyone right now, sorry!

AFM - I went for my doc's apt this morning, he have me another perscritption for my progesterone, tried the dopler on my belly even tho he knew we wouldnt hear anything (which we didnt cause I am right about my dates, I'm not quite 8 weeks) Was really crushed though when he said he wasnt going to send me for an u/s... apparently he doesnt see any reason right now, but if my hcg levels come back to low or I start spotting he will send me. My levels from last time at around 5.5-6 weeks were 8500, Im not sure if thats a pretty good number or not.
I am going back to see him again in 2 weeks, on May 3rd. So hopefully then we'll be able to hear a heartbeat. FX! Still feeling kinda down about not getting the u/s... would be nice to have a little peace of mind.

Hi ladies,

Well I'm back on the ttc bandwagon. We lost the baby two days ago, but it was still really early (5weeks). I guess I am now waiting to O.

Bahoward- i would find a new doctor. I used to feel the same way about my lady doctor, and then she changed her nurse and got new office staff. All was great until I had my ectopic, before I knew what it was I had the worst time getting ahold of her due to her terrible office staff. My last appointment her nurse walked in, and without even looking at my chart said was I the one having a miscarriage. Her u/s tech couldn't see anything and she just kept pushing the methotrexate shot. I decided to get a second opinion, an older male doc as a rec from a friend. Literally the next day he found my ectopic on the u/s and rushed me into surgery. I have kept him as my doc ever sense and do not regret it. So if you don't like your doc, find another one! (phew sorry for the long story)

Joy- great new from your appt today! Too bad no u/s don't you hate waiting :-/ but i do know for sure 8500 is a solid hcg level at 6 weeks

Gummybear- So, so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Hang in there, sweetie.

Rebecca- welcome!

AFM I am 7 dpo and just noticing an increased appetite, no other symptoms to report. I really wish there was a way to know exactly where you are in your cycle. Like those maps when you fly transatlantic that show you were the plane is? I want one of those only instead of the plane it's the egg. So today at 7dpo i could see if the egg is fertilized or not. Like a big xray, that zooms in on your tummy. That would be awesome.

I am rambling today, must get back to work.

Cheers to us all in the wait.
