TTC through IUI and im 27yrs old

Ive been TTC for two years during which I discovered I am categorized under unexplained infertility. Im now attending an infertility clinic since November 2013 taking medications and constant tests (even though i am not suffering from any reproductive malfunctions) and still not even a faint positive sign. This month I had my first round of IUI and been feeling different a few days after until now. My cramps and tiredness and back aches and sleepiness are increasing.

Does anyone else experience my case or has before? Im really hoping it works the first time!

Hi, shortly after we spoke baby Charlotte was born (March 27th at 9:33pm). She was 7 lbs 2 oz and 20.5 inches long. She is truely beautiful.

My water broke at 8:30am and by noon I was 10 cms and pushing. Labour was crazy and I wish I asked for an epidural sooner. The epidural was heaven until it wore off (drs dont know why). After hrs of pushing they said she was stuck and I needed a csection. They tried a spinal (since epidural wasnt working) but couldnt get it in my spine. Baby was under distress by this point and They ended up putting me under general anesthetic. While in surgery they discovered my uterus had rolled and failed to expand properly which is why she was stuck. It was not a routine csection to get her out and I ended up loosing so much...

... Blood I needed two transfusions. After 4 days stay in the hospital we were finally released. After 24 hours at home i had the worst migrane of my life I went to the ER and it turns out that in all the attemps at my epidural and spinal they puncture my dural wall and spinal fluid was leaking into my body causing this agony os my back, neck and head. The next day the anesthesiologist did a blood patch to repair the hole and within 24 hrs I was considerably better.

I havent been able to breastfeed Charlotte as she doesnt latch but have been pumping and pumping to make enough milk to feed her. We saw a lactation consultant on Mon who discovered she has a malformation of the upper and lower jaw (likely from positioning in uteral) which is physically preventing her from BFing. Now we are booking all sorts of specialists to try to get her the help she needs.

All this to say its been a crazy 17 days. Im drained physically and emotionally. This is so much harder than I ever imagined. It seems our struggles dont end with pregnancy and certainly dont end with birth.

Congrats on your baby!!!! She must be adorable.... Sorry to hear you had so many issues with the labour... but glad it is over with and things are getting back on track. Hopefully the baby jaw issues are fixed soon. I had a hard time breastfeeding as well; but eventually it worked out... and if at the end it doesn't, you know you tried your best. There are many other ways to bond with her and I am sure you are doing a great job. First month is tiring but after that it gets much better :) It is hard to be a mama but I wouldn't change it for anything.

Hi hgreen I haven't talked to you forever.... I got pregnant naturally in April but MC in June sadly. Started IVF at the beginning f the month and getting ready for retrieval on Monday... unfortunately I will have to freeze all and won't be allowed to do a fresh transfer because I produced too many follicles and my estrogen levels are really high. I have 13 follicles that are the right size and 5 more at 14mm. Hopefully most of them have mature eggs, can get fertilized and can make it to the end. How have you been? How is your daughter doing?

Wow Hgreen time sure flies... already 7 months so exciting. I am sure you are enjoying every minute :)
Retrieval is tomorrow morning at 11. Fingers crossed for a lot of mature eggs and that most of them fertilize and make it to day 5.
I remember your girl was from a FET. That's what gives me hope it will work for me as well since I don't have the choice of a fresh transfer. Fingers crossed I don't get OHSS. I will update you soon :)

We got 16 eggs but only 14 of thrm were mature and out of those 14 only 11 got fertilized. We did ICSI wanted to play it safe and increase our odds. Hope they hang in there and most make it to day 5. Do you remember with how many fertilized you started and how many made it to the end?
