Awww I'm SO SO happy to help!! You all deserve a BFP and I know how frustrating it is when month after month it doesn't happen!
I wish for all of you to get your miracle, rainbow babies!!
I hope it's as easy a fix as just getting the thyroid regulated!!!
Much love to all and let me know how it goes!

Lulu- totally understand your decision. I hope it works this cycle and you won't even have to worry about thyroid being an issue.. I'm it still does happen, just may be harder.. Good luck this cycle sweetie!!

Texas- how was your ultrasound?

Btw- when I got my BFP they checked my thyroid again and they said it was regular.. and to keep taking the same dosage. I have read that they monitor the thyroid cause the baby doesn't have one of it's own so they make sure the mother's is within normal range throughout pregnancy so they may alter dosage as you go.. just something to think about WHEN you all DO get your BFPs :)

Northern, sounds like you have a good plan in place... one thing I've learned is that if you don't do your own research, no one will do it for you... like I said earlier... I hope it's just as easy as getting your thyroid TSH level between 1 - 2. About your fibro I have no idea so again, do some research and see what you find. :)
Best of luck sweetie...
Oh and I wouldn't stop acupuncture. I'm a believer in that!!

I talked to my nurse and she said that my TSH level was 2.09 when they checked it in Feb.. I still dont have a good feeling though. I have canceled my appointment for my day 13 US and am going to talk to the doctor about doing a full thyroid panel test. I have quite a few of the syptoms that i have been reading about and it just seems to make sense. I dont know if i'm feeling this way bc i just want an answer as to why so bad or what.

What you do think?

either way what would a month do anyways if i take it off. I mean after this next IUI we are going to be taking a very long break anyways.

Hey ladies. Just got back from my ultrasound and I have 3 good follicles 17. He thinks my opk will turn positive on Friday, with iui on Saturday. He asked me if I wanted to skip cycle and see if progesterone is higher I said nope so we are going ahead.

That's great Texas! Good luck on your IUI!

So I went to my GP today to discuss my bloodwork. She wasn't concerned about it and said all she could do is get my iron and B12 tested again - my TSH was fine. She thought I was depressed and maybe that was making me tired. Then she switched gears and said that it was the fibromyalgia and that I needed to get more exercise and sleep. She didn't see any correlation between fibro and infertility. I didn't try to push it any further and will take it up with the RE, in hopes that he will know more about it. Anyhow, no further ahead, except that I did realize (from my own research) that I am probably harming myself taking iron for anemia that is not caused by a lack of iron.

Anyhow, good luck to you Stevi and Lulu - hope you have better success than I in sorting out your TSH.

So weird. Who's done femara? I'm on CD9, I took 2.5 femara for CD3-7. Today, I have a ton of EWCM, which usually doesn't show until a day or 2 before ovulation - which is usually CD16 for me. I didn't do an opk today, because I don't usually even start them until CD12.

Femara make anyone ovulate early? I'm not sure if I've got EWCM because my estrogen is high because my follicle(s) are ready to pop or if I've got multiple follicles going on this cycle or what. I'll test when I get home from work, but wondering about others' experiences.

Northern- the GP is not a fertility specialist. They don't know what is optimal for conceiving. The RE is! I had the same issue with my gyno who always said I was 'borderline', never put me on synthroid and as soon as I went to the RE 3 years later, that's the first thing they did: put me on synthroid!!

Texas- yay for 3 healthy follies! Hope you feel better today!!!

Essemkay- I was on femara and don't recall ovulating early. I don't remember the dosage though. However, when I did injectables with femara... I DID ovulate early like CD12. Soooooo dunno what to tell you... are you getting monitored this cycle to kinda see what's going on with your follies?

Stevi- 2.09 is still not between 1 and 2... not sure how close you have to be... are you talking with a GP or an RE?

Thanks miracle. I didn't think the GP would have much to say about the TSH - my big concern with her was discussing her diagnosis of me being iron deficient and the huge amount of iron pills I've been taking. I got my blood panel results from yesterday and it's clear that I am anemic but not iron deficient, so there's something else going on. I just need to figure out if low levels of circulating iron in my blood is an issue for fertility or not, since my hemoglobin is fine (actually really really high). It's complicated and I'm no doctor!

Northern, I'm low in iron too.. I am a carrier of thalassemia (I don't have thalassemia, just a carrier, it's genetic) so it makes my iron low automatically. I haven't checked it in years. But when I went to a GP they put me on iron supplement. I took it for about 6 months and then stopped cause I figured my prenatals have iron in them. I haven't heard of iron affecting conception as much as I've heard vitamin D3 affects conception. Don't know I'm not a doc either... Obviously it's best to be well balanced when trying to have a baby..
I would totally go to the RE who is a specialist on what you're trying to accomplish and see what they say. They'll know exactly what to do for your situation.
