Has anyone done FSH injections? I'm doing Puregon (42u daily). Feeling burning but otherwise fine, did my first today. Any noticeable side-effects?

Basia - Good for you!! Rock it!!

Cate - FSH injections are not bad - I used Follistim every time. I actually never had major side effects from FSH injections.

CateMat - I believe Puregon is the same thing as Menopur - which I call Menoburn because it burns so much! I found letting it sit for about 5 minutes after mixing it, injecting it slowly, and then NOT rubbing the injection site helped a bit. Some people ice beforehand, but that just made me cold.

Basia30 Happy belated birthday! I loved being 30 - that's when I really figured out who I was.

WhileImWaiting Boo. Sorry AF got ya.

AFM, I have no idea what's going on with me. My ovulation date keeps changing according to my BBT charts. So maybe I'm 7dpo. Maybe I'm 3dpo. I don't know. (I think 6 or 7, but this site thinks 3 and fertility friend thinks 4). Also, my insurance changed their progesterone coverage, so now 15 doses will cost $299. So I didn't fill the prescription. I know compared to the over $100,000 we've spent in our quest for baby #2 so far, $299 is a drop in the bucket - but I just don't have an extra dollar at the moment. I do have enough to finish out this cycle, and I'll start saving for next. Ugh. :(

essemkay - your chart is a bit confusing :) But I think I would go for 6DPO - based on OPKs. A lot of things can affect temperature.

Essem, I just ordered Emerita Pro-Gest® Cream and the dr said that was no different than the prescription suppositories pretty much. Like $20 on Amazon.

xomandyxocheyxo thanks! That only contains approximately 450mg of progesterone per ounce. My dosage is 400mg per day, so I'd be blowing through bottles of that quickly and I'm not sure I have enough skin to put it all on! :)

Basia30 - it's confusing to me, too! :D I'm pretty sure 6dpo is right. Between a toddler and a snoring husband, I get awakened a lot, plus add in the estrogen and progesterone -- so I don't know how accurate my temperatures can be.

Hey ladies! Had my baseline this morning and had a cyst (16.5) but apparently it's not "active" so I'm proceeding. 25 mg of clomid starting tomorrow and will do our mid-cycle on CD 11 - have any of you done your mid cycle on CD 11? mine have always been on CD 12 before.

This month will be IUI three of four!

While - how do they know if the cyst is active or not?

While, I have always had mine on CD10.. 2 times my eggs were already over 20mm and we had to trigger that day and IUI CD12.

Thanks for your experiences with FSH ladies. So far so good for me :)

While- I always go early because I ovulate on day 10 or 11. So usually go in day 8.
